The town of Andes is small and charming, and we ate on the porch with views of the main street through town. The food was delicious - so fresh and flavorful. We got a shrimp cocktail starter, a burger, fish and chips and a crab cake platter. All the dishes were high quality with great portion sizes. I'd recommend the hotel and the restaurant for couples and families. There's a cute thrift shop right by the hotel, and a diner and a coffee shop on the main street. This was a great home base for exploring the area, including Cooperstown and the Ommegang Brewery.
