I had to follow up twice just to get a firm arrival window, and they still ended up arriving later than expected without a heads-up. The plumbing issue was handled, but the lack of communication made the whole process much more stressful than it needed to be. Probably will look elsewhere next time.

My vote is split between plumbing and the sidewalk cement work. Plumbing gets a 5, cement work 3…read more For the plumbing service I dealt with Ed P. and the work was done by Leo and Joe, who did the complete job in a day. They dug from back downspot to street, laid new piping, added stone by street and backfilled the dirt. Excellent. The cement side was a different issue. I dealt with Ed R. The cement work is subed. When the crew came to dig up the sidewalk I saw on ring camera that they did not remove one of the contracted pads (they were supposed to do 4 pads but only did 3). I contacted Ed R. while they were still at my house. Later that day the three pads were cemented in. That part of sidewalk was well done (even if not all pads were done). A month later a new crew came to dig up the fourth pad, they did mine and the neighbors. Horrible job. They stomped all over my new grass, The new pad near my other ones was too high so they leveled it down the last three inches but you can notice that it's not level, the pads by the grass are sloped down (maybe they didn't pour enough cement), not very smooth surface, and when they cleaned up they did it by my decorative curb (leaving stains on it). Communicaton with Ed R. was lacking.

One job they did was a little more complicated than normal because of some rust and we had a more industrial strength garbage disposal to replace the existing one--so some parts needed refitting. The second job they did a simple fix on a leaky faucet that they could have charged more and I wouldn't have known the difference. They're also very open to you getting the new materials and saving the time it would cost to have them do it (if you want), unlike a big company that would buy the parts and charge a markup. I'll definitely call them when we need more plumbing work , which we no doubt will.

They are very unprofessional and left for about 8 hours while they went to return the hot water heater as they brought the wrong one. Then they wanted me to buy another hot water heater before they would put it in...at 10:00 at night when they finally decided to resurface. According to the new plumber I just hired from Lowe's, they are NOT licensed. I'm out money and water but getting it resolved. They are very sketchy. Criminal fraud charges being initiated.

Over the phone, a Rinker agent told us that they'd refund the payment, and then we'd proceed with the payment plan as intended, but they never did. I called again, and their agent confirmed that they had processed the refund, and I should contact my bank. I did, and my bank couldn't find any attempt at a refund. I called Rinker back, and they informed me that because the purchase "fell under a different pay period" that they couldn't process the refund. Why lie to me in the first place? If the previous agent was incorrect, they should have called me when they realized the mistake instead of leaving me to pester my bank about it. Left us struggling through the holidays since we could not afford to pay the full payment in a lump sum.
