The second job they did a simple fix on a leaky faucet that they could have charged more and I wouldn't have known the difference. They're also very open to you getting the new materials and saving the time it would cost to have them do it (if you want), unlike a big company that would buy the parts and charge a markup. I called again, and their agent confirmed that they had processed the refund, and I should contact my bank. I did, and my bank couldn't find any attempt at a refund. I called Rinker back, and they informed me that because the purchase "fell under a different pay period" that they couldn't process the refund. Why lie to me in the first place? If the previous agent was incorrect, they should have called me when they realized the mistake instead of leaving me to pester my bank about it.
