SOLD ME A NON STREET LEGAL CAR!!…read more Okay so I recently bought a cash car from here. I get pulled over a few days ago and the officer tests my windows and they are 12% tinted... I contact the dealership and let them know what happened and they tell me that they aren't willing to fix it! I ask why not and they said that because the car passed safety inspection that they sell the car as it comes. Or "as is". I contacted tinting company out where I live and let them know what happened and they tell me that it is actually illegal for a dealership to let a car leave the lot that doesn't have the legal tint on it!!! So now I have to pay $160 to fix the tints on my car. Aside from that while I was doing my paperwork (MAKE SURE YOU READ PAPERWORK AND GET ANYTHING THEY PROMISE YOU ON PAPER) a gentleman named Hayden told me I was going to have a one year warranty w/ 15,000 miles on the car. Well I'm going through my paperwork and can't seem to find anything about this warranty he spoke of and in fact on the paperwork on the page about warranty it says "as is- no dealer warranty, this dealer does not provide a warranty for any repair after sale". I wish I had been able to read through the paperwork while doing it with this gentleman but it was all on his computer and he was summarizing what I was signing to me. According to the sales manager who I spoke with on the phone about this since my car is over 80,000 miles I don't get the warranty that Hayden assured me I had while doing paperwork with him. I am VERY disappointed with how I was treated and how these matters were handled. They let me leave the car lot knowing I was going to get a ticket for having illegal tings on my car which I wouldn't have known because no one made me aware of this in the process of buying this vehicle. And then tell me it's my problem. It doesn't matter if this car passes inspection or not THERE ARE ILLEGAL TINTS ON THIS CAR AND NO ONE TOLD ME. Also keep in mind the tinting company I contacted about this is well known and do tints for dealership cars, and they said that what this dealership did is ILLEGAL!!!

What followed was 33 days of "we can't pay you until the title arrives" -- even though my lender confirmed in writing on 7/30 that the loan was paid in full. I'm an Army veteran and I handled this the right way: calls, patience, follow-ups, numerous conversations with their manager Mike. The day I said I'd had enough, his position was still that I could go to the DMV myself or wait another three weeks. Dismissive from start to finish. On 8/27 I showed up in person with the lender's paid-in-full letter. Only then did they hand over my check -- dated 7/27, two days after the sale. It existed nearly the whole time they were telling me they couldn't pay. The car had already been resold. (Keep-or-cut sentence:) Nothing in the bill of sale I signed conditions payment on the title. If you sell them your car, demand a payment date in writing. Every date above is documented.

There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

I did not purchase a vehicle, so this review concerns only my interaction with sales management…read more I contacted Clay Cooley CDJR Dallas about an approximately $25,000 used F-150 and submitted a detailed set of pre-purchase questions. I recognize that my original request was longer than average and that some mechanical checks were better left to an independent inspection. Instead of simply identifying which existing records could be provided and which items should wait, General Sales Manager Evan Epstein described my request as "a bit over the top" and wrote, "It is a 2018 Ford, not a Lamborghini," while encouraging me to visit first. To be fair, he said the dealership would eventually work on obtaining the information, but the tone caused me to withdraw. His subsequent response called the remark "purely in jest" and characterized my questions as "multiple pages of an AI generated list of queries." That reinforced rather than resolved my concern. At this price point, I expect reasonable due diligence to be addressed professionally and without belittling commentary. I cannot comment on the vehicle itself or the service department, but this sales-management experience caused the dealership to lose my business.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING…read more This is long overdue. I tried not leaving this review, but the public has to know. I don't deserve what I'm going through with my perfect credit score being over 740. This vehicle has a recall since 2019, but the dealership doesn't touch anything aftermarket, it has to be stock. When I first saw the vehicle, I checked the engine light since it was deleted. I barely saw enough since I didn't want to be caught. Now that I have the vehicle, there's more than what I expected. Again, bring an engine code reader, don't go by what they say. I'm spending over $1,200, and there's a lot more I'm having to pay to get my valve springs repaired which is around $800-$1,600 to fix. So yeah, I'm one "happy" customer alright. I already replaced the fuel filler neck and charcoal canister that was causing the fueling up the gas tank problem, and now the most expensive one yet is my valve springs that's causing a lot of things to go wrong with my ride. I got crapped on, big time time. I surely hope everyone double and triple CHECKS ANY vehicle before buying. Don't just go by what anyone says at all. That is all. Thank you.

Both I took to my mechanic (see my review on European Service Center) and both cars just needed regular maintenance work. Both were 11 years old when I bought them, so yeah, it was bit more than just fluids and filters, and yes, they are MERCEDES so the cost will be higher than a Toyota. Everyone in Top Line was attentive and patiently answered all mine and my wife's questions. There were a couple of things on the ML350 that I pointed out and they could care of. There was one item that they stated they could not fix easily (steering column would not go up or down, but does retract and extend) and therefore they would not do it. Since this is more a comfort item than anything else, we had no problem with that. If any my friends were to look for used luxury vehicles, I would send them to Top Line, and when I am looking for my next car, I will be returning.

This adventure includes the mountain pass; The Grapevine. Amidst California's historic drought, I drove through a gnarly storm (both directions). In addition to driving this vehicle to the Central Coast, I also camped in it. Safety features: At first I couldn't decide if I liked the vibrations coming from the seat and the vehicle taking control of the steering wheel. We had our first fight, like any good relationship. I learned to signal in advance of lane changes and thus we fought less over the wheel. Fun insightful features: Automatic windshield wiper's, automatic highbeam headlights, Phone interface, USB ports everywhere, amazing sound system, great LED lights, effective and efficient climate control and factory window tint. When I rolled out my air mattress and sleeping bag, it seemed like I had a USB for my phones and 110v for my computer, several spots to put my canteen. Everything that I needed... It had all been thought-out and placed exactly where I needed it. Power and handling: In a word; impressive. This full-size SUV has always been a responsive powertrain package. It was a pleasure to have such power capability mixed with a tight handling ride. Without completely incriminating myself, my rate of travel was closer to three digits than it was two. This truck handled the curves some serious water and wind. I had complete control of the vehicle at all times. The handling and responsiveness is impressive. The overdrive 'trailer' switch was clutch in the mountains and curves, allowing the truck to shift down when not accelerating eliminating the need for breaking. Finally, I was able to drive almost 400 miles on a single tank of gas, I never stopped between point A and B. In conclusion. This truck is a total beast, you guys are doing a great job. I absolutely loved my time with that Tahoe and look forward to future GM adventures. Love, Some guy in California.
