This restaurant is the second of its kind, located in the Laval Bell Centre. Spread over 2 floors,…read moreit boasts a massive 33 foot screen perfect for enjoying sports games and lots of comfy banquets and tables for groups. The first location opened downtown earlier this year, also in the Bell Centre but it is a larger variant with 3 floors and an even bigger screen. The tavern is the perfect sports bar for hab's fans that want to enjoy more refined food in an upscale setting. The food features all your classics like wings, burgers, steaks and poutine, but with certain twists like foie gras, truffle oil and oyster appetizers. The happy hour deals monday to friday are good, there are discounted beverages and 1$ oysters. If you dine after 10pm, there is also a selection of dishes for 10$. The food is delicious, however a bit on the pricy side as to be expected. Also to make it even more expensive, there is no free parking for clients. You have to park in the Bell Center, during event nights it's 12$, otherwise you take a chance by parking across the street in the stores' lots. Paying for parking is kind of a deal breaker for me, I'm suprised they didn't have some arrangement for clients - as there is a gym in the same building that offers parking passes. Great place to come experience the beautiful decor and massive screen if you want to be wowed, however I can't picture this as a regular dining spot due to parking issues and expensive food.

The location is very pretty and roomy with huge TV screens to watch sport events. Food is decent. Ordered the Fish and Chips. Not a generous portion but quite edible. I wouldn't recommend it if it's your first experience. Tiny sauce to come with it (what's up with this new trend everywhere? Give me SAUCE!). Fries were decent. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Due to a family friendly event, lots of kids were here, so consider that for what it's worth. Price-tag is a little high given what I'm eating but I would assume folks are here given to circumstance (aka attending events). Parking is free as long and you use the Place Bell one "only for the dining experience"? Kind-of pointless. Overall, it's a decent food experience but not something I'd go out of my way to re-experience.

LOCATION It's a little difficult to find as it's tucked down an alley in Chinatown, and it's compounded by the fact that you enter what looks like a mini-mall and go down a set of lit-up stairs before reaching it. You'll find it, but it'll take some exploring. I would also be wary of staying out too late, as we were almost jumped several times upon leaving. ***Don't walk on the sidewalks, walk in the middle of the street!!!*** KARAOKE The sound system isn't as good as other karaoke bars I've been to, but it does what you would want it to. They use a Chinese karaoke system, so knowing how to read Mandarin would be helpful when navigating the portal. Since it doesn't have a wide selection of English songs, they Chromecast YouTube to the TV, and you can karaoke from there. Not the most professional, but it does the trick. One thing about the portal system too is that you can't karaoke without the actual artist singing as well, so that was a MAJOR downside for our experience. We asked the owner about it when she came in to check on us, but she said that some songs had the artist singing along and others didn't. You just had to be lucky when choosing the song. We got it to work, though, once by pressing random buttons, but were never able to replicate it afterward. DRINKS If you're looking for good drinks, this is not the place. We shared a Sprite Vodka, and it was worth the price considering it was mostly vodka, but the execution of what we ordered was off. SERVICE The barista/cashier up front was very accommodating in explaining to us how the system worked and resolved any issues should we have any (upping the volume, how to connect YouTube from our phones to the TV, etc. Again, the downside of our experience was that they didn't know how to navigate the system so the artist wasn't singing along with us (which defeats the purpose of karaoke). Unlike other karaoke spots I've been to, the place here was very flexible in regards to timing, and we were able to sing a little longer than our allotted time without penalty. Overall, if you're really itching to sing, this place isn't bad, but other places might be more worth your fancy.

Had a good selection of songs with music videos available ranging from chinese, korean, english songs. Comparable karaoke experience to other areas with more of an east asian community like in Greater Toronto Area. One thing to note is it is $30/hr a small room. Can easily fit 5-10 people. There is a minimum spend of $150 per party. So if you spent 3 hours here you would need to spend $60 on drinks. Just something to note to see if its in your budget, but very reasonable rates The owners were very nice and gave us car freshners as a gift and took a selfie with us. They also had some dice to play with which was a nice bonus
