Walking into Dales's Train Station my first thought was that somebody has been to too many swap meets; buying a lot while not selling much. The place is cluttered and on the brink of being unsafe. Some of the aisles are almost completely blocked, boxes are stacked everywhere, and I even saw an unattended ladder in the middle of an aisle. I stopped in with my son, who loves trains, to take a look around. We did enjoy looking over the eclectic collection of trains and other toys. However, the sprawling space is very poorly organized and difficult to navigate. This may be a good spot for a serious hobbyist or to find a unique gift for a collector. Be ready to spend some money. Many of the items were priced well over $100. Not a good spot to shop for your kid.

Such a cute train station collectors store. My father in law loves collecting trains for all the grandchildren. We have all boys so they like to go to his train room in the downstairs of his house. This store had a wide variety of trains, along with old collectors toys/memorabilia. The store owners/people who worked there were very friendly and helpful when my father in law had a question. My son and I personally enjoyed the giant train set up in the front of the store and the trains that circled overhead. It was just a nice hobby shop that had a lot of historical items there.

They offer a variety of toys from the classics to unique things I have never seen before just begging me to take out of the packaging and play with. I loved that they even had a section dedicated to road trip activities. I spent some time chatting with Anna, a Playmaker at POP. She told me all about the owner, Alison and how POP was created. They go through great lengths to curate their shop with unique interactive toys that aren't usually picked up by the big name online or physical retail stores (think Amazon, Target, etc). They have lots to touch and play with at kid level and there were several kids that seemed to be enjoying making their wish list! They even have a mailbox set up where kids can make their wish list for their birthday, Christmas, or just for fun! Letting your kid pick out a toy online just isn't the same - a stop at POP will ignite their imagination and maybe spark your's along the way too!

The shop itself is very narrow, tightly-spaced and a little tough to navigate through. But it's still worth a look. Great selection of all kinds of toys, old and new and many different brands as well. I've managed to get some interesting deals on some must-have items. I even found an entire toy set I had when I was a kid, which are some of my favorite types of finds as they take me back to my childhood. The prices can sometimes be a bit steep, but if you're a serious collector or you're just a big kid at heart, then it's totally worth it! My favorites are the wrestling figures, there are so many to choose from and some you can't find anywhere else. Some awesome additions to the collection have been found here. However, some toys in the store are hanging on the shelf in a plastic bag, which makes it difficult to see what they are and to browse through as I have to take all of them off the rack one-by-one to get to the one I want to see. If there was an easier way to do that, it'd be great. I'm sure the other patrons don't appreciate me holding up traffic while I rifle through several dozen little baggies that are above my head, trying not to tear the plastic or knock everything off the wall while I am squeezed in the six-inch amount of floor space between the displays. I also like the Hot Wheels cars, the blind boxes, and they usually have some really cute stuff by the front door like scented candles with cool themes, plushies, and bright, colorful goodies that could lift anyone's spirit with their innocent and happy stylings. Overall, I think it's a great spot to get some really cool pieces of one's playful past or a new addition to the lifelong obsession! So whether you're a sentimental sap who needs a good reminder of simpler times, or if you have managed to maintain your imagination and enjoy some wholesome fun, then this is the place for you! (and me, since I happen to fit both descriptions.) (they could use some shopping baskets, though.)

Convention I went to had a vendor want 60 dollars for a figurine that I found at this store for 45 dollars. They have a great selection of figurines from popular shows like One Piece, Naturo, Re:Zero, etc. as well as figurines that are harder to find such as vtuber figurines from Hololive. Game selection is great as well ranging from as old as the Atari 2600 to as new as the PS5 and Xbox Series X. The staff seem like they don't care but are very friendly and helpful once you approach them. Went in 5/27/25 to trade in some collectible figures for a PS2 I was looking at, after ab 30 minutes of waiting for an appraisal the staff comes back and says my figure is worth 192 on a trade for IN STORE CREDIT (w/ 20% added for trade in Tuesday's) not knowing the true value of what I had at the time, I accepted the trade and ended up buying a PS2, memory card, warranty, and 2 PS2 games as well which ended up costing me ~300 in total; despite having a figure worth 4-500 I was given a fraction of what it was actually worth and ended up OWING them money. They then claimed that I need to remember that "they are a small business so ‍" What VGH failed to realize is that I had NO issue trading the item in to them since WITH the money I got from the trade I was going to immediately spend it back at the store meaning they would only stand to have made money on our transaction. The issue I have is VGH pulling an underhanded move like this then turning around allowing me to then spend more of my money in store (when my trade-in value was never met in the first place). TLDR: VGH lost a potential returning customer who would have given significantly more money to this company in time than what they got by cheating me out a SINGLE collectible figure. EDIT: I was also given a 3rd party PS2 controller when I bought my PS2 which is a laughable business practice.

Being a new store, I thought the inventory would be low, but I was so wrong. They were fully stocked with clothing and all the baby equipment. The store is nice and clean (as it should be, especially since it's a baby/children's store). The staff was so welcoming, engaging and super friendly. I had recently purged my children's closets, so I had quite the load to bring in. I had another appointment, so I just left it with them. They made me fill out some paperwork and then I left. While I was out and about, they called me back rather quickly and let me know that the quote was ready. When I returned, they gave me something in the ballpark of $90. Not too shabby, I must say! This is a good chance to make some cash and whatever they didn't take, I dropped it off at Goodwill before I went home. Things to note: - if you stay in the store, they will prioritize your baskets vs someone that drops it off (as previously mentioned, I did this, but I dropped it off on a Monday morning and I got called back pretty quickly) - they will pay you CASH or store credit OUAC is definitely a spot I will pass by before I go to Goodwill.
