I called All Quality because my two story house had a leak in the ceiling of the first floor living…read moreroom. The leak could not have been due to a plumbing issue as the bathrooms in the house were all on the complete other side of the house. Therefore I believed the leak was coming from somewhere in the roof and/or from around the window of the bedroom directly above the living room. Other contracting/roofing companies had come out who simply looked at the roof and told us either 1). We needed a completely new roof (e.g. $10K-15K repair) because our current one was 'incorrectly applied' or 2). They would try to remedy the problem (for $300-$500) but it would not be guaranteed as they weren't positive what the issue was. When Ed and Joe came to my house they looked at the problem area in the living room, looked at the roof from outside and went upstairs to look around the dormer window / roof area directly above where the leak was coming from. Based on what they found Ed told me that he believe the issue was due to the roof of the dormer being incorrectly applied and also the casing around the window not being properly sealed. For the entire job he quoted me $2000 - so not as cheap as the companies who 'assumed' what the problem was, but definitely not as expensive as those who simply quoted me a new roof. The selling point for me was when I asked Ed, 'So what happens if you do the work and my ceiling still leaks?', he looked me dead in the eye and said 'I'll either give you your money back or find and fix the problem for free, your choice'. He gave me that guarantee in writing and that is all I needed to know these were people I wanted to do business with. Within a week or two their guys came out and did the work. As of right now (3+ months after the works had been done), we have had some pretty serious Chicago suburb rain storms and I haven't seen one drop of water in my living room or felt one hint of dampness on my ceiling. You can find numerous companies who will tell you they are 'experts' and know best which means taking the most complete (and expensive) route.. Finding a company though with experience who will tell you 'I am just about positive you only need this work done but I might be wrong and if I am, that's my fault and I'll give you your money back' is an extreme rarity. I consider myself fortunate to have found the guys at All Quality. As a homeowner, its comforting to know you've found a company who will work not only for you but with you should you need them. These guys are a complete class-act operation.

Dave, the project manager, walked us through every step of the process and maintained an open line of communication. Overall, All Quality was terrific to work with and provided us with exactly what we were hoping for in a renovation.

A Truly Outstanding Experience…read more After years of putting it off, I finally decided to replace the siding on my home--and I'm so glad I did. From the very first consultation, I felt like I was in good hands. Paul and Eddie took the time to understand what I wanted, answered all my questions patiently, and helped me choose a style that really brought out the character of my house. Watching the transformation was incredible. The crew showed up on time every day, worked with care and precision, and treated my home like it was their own. They even caught a few small issues under the old siding and fixed them without hesitation--something I really appreciated. What really stood out to me was their attention to detail. Every edge, corner, and trim was done perfectly. And when they finished, they left the yard spotless. It was like they were never there--except now my house looks brand new! Since the installation, I've had neighbors stop by just to compliment the new look. It's not just about curb appeal either--I've already noticed the house feels better insulated and quieter inside. If you're thinking about new siding, don't wait as long as I did. This was one of the best home improvement decisions I've made, and I can't recommend Herzing highly enough.

We are on our second property in Chicago and have for one reason or another had to hire more than…read moreour fair share of contractors. We've found that there are plenty of good contractors who do good work and, if you do your due diligence up front, things will generally work out. However, Kucera Construction are the first exceptional contractor we've hired. They were above and beyond anything else we've experienced in the city of Chicago. This was the biggest project we've taken on yet - a kitchen remodel that involved demolition of one wall. We ended up hiring Peter and his crew for a few reasons: 1. It was clear he was a problem solver and detail oriented - taking out one of the walls meant extra support would need to be added. All the other 4 contractors said we'd need to add a post without exploring. He was the only one who looked at the wall in detail during the estimation process (going upstairs and to the basement to check it out). He said we may need a post but he thought we might not...end result: no post! We also wanted to remove the existing tiled floor and replace by running wood floor from elsewhere on the floor to create a consistent look...all other contractors said this could not be done. Peter said it could and made it happen. 2. Detailed quote: Every task was line itemed, which created transparency at the outset. We were able to take out aspects of the job that we felt were not worth it. 3. Pricing: Most of the contractors came in at roughly the same price but Peter's included the flooring and no post mentioned (unlike the other contractors). It took 3 months for Peter to start the job after we hired him (this was mostly due to our schedule). He was also up front that he was fully booked for a while, to me that's a good sign. He told us everything we needed to get ready before he did (it was our first kitchen remodel so this guidance was very helpful). Peter estimated 4-6 weeks for the job. It took just over 5. Every stage of the process was planned to ensure maximum efficiency. Our neighbors who had taken on a smaller kitchen remodel at the same time couldn't believe how much they got done in the time they did. His crew were there every day (except the days we didn't have the resources he needed...our fault not his) to ensure he met this deadline. All his workers were polite, non-obtrusive and respectful. They kept mess to a minimum throughout. He was good at keeping to the budget. We ended up paying more than we were quoted for but this was due to unforeseen issues that were out of his control and items we added during the process. Both were fair. He also gave credits where he'd overestimated original pricing as he went through the job. Peter's communication throughout the process was excellent. He would check we were happy with every little thing (lighting positioning, recessed lighting fixtures, light switch types, even hood height etc.) before proceeding. We are so happy with the end result: our new kitchen is amazing and is surpasses our vision for the space. The quality of the work is outstanding. We are so pleased we hired Kucera Construction. They are an exceptional contractor.

His estimate was extremely detailed to where you knew exactly what you were paying for on each line item (which left for minimal surprises throughout the entire project). His pricing is competitive and the work his team does is just incredible. He has a large team (which helps get things done FAST) and all of the guys are super kind, hardworking and skilled. I can't say enough positive things about his team and all of his subcontractors. This was our first time renovating a home and we would have been so lost without Peter. He helped guide us through the entire process, never got irritated by my endless questions or changes, and gave such valuable feedback/guidance on miscellaneous items that I couldn't make my mind up on. He is communicative, reliable, trustworthy and just an all around good person. I was so nervous selecting a GC after hearing so many nightmare stories, and could not be more thankful we found Peter and that he took us on as a client. We are in love with the finished product and would choose Peter again in a heartbeat for any future projects.

This company refused to complete our three 3d renderings because we were so disappointed, shocked,…read moreand had safety concerns about the first rendering. Kristen, the wife of the owner, became belligerent, threatening us with a lawsuit if we reviewed them. They have only done one rendering, refusing to comply with a signed contract to complete the next two that are in the contract. They also refuse to reimburse any of the $699 we paid, even though they refuse to complete what was agreed upon in the signed contract. The BBB took this complaint, but as this company has done with the other complaints, they refuse to respond. I would stay clear of this company. The first rendering did not have proper posts that would even support the deck we wanted built. It looked like a kid did the rendering and they said it was because it was the first one. Well, I expected the first one to knock us off our feet since it was $699 and that it would only need a few tweaks. Instead it raised red flags. They should have been embarrassed to send it to us. Also, need to mention that Kristen inflates the price unjustifiably. Also wanted to note that it is not illegal to write a review of a company.
