Great Brewery with lots of beer options to stop by on the way home after dinner! We didn't see any food options, but we had just eaten so we also didn't inquire! You order at the bar and seat yourself. It was dead so we didn't have a problem ordering or finding a table. It was a chill laid back place to hang on a date or with friends!

Excellent atmosphere and probably the best beer in South Dakota. Highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed!!

Such welcoming, friendly service in a chill, relaxed atmosphere. The beers are also awesome! The Charmed Irish Ale with marshmallows was deliciously sweet and tangy. The Tangerine Wheat was sweet and juicy. The Land Speeder IPL was amazing; so hoppy but light. The Hardrocker Blonde Ale is full of flavor and still light and refreshing. The Wally Walloon Belgian Blonde is hearty and nutty and great! Such an awesome flight experience.

Outstanding brewery. Beers were excellent. Don't skip on the huckleberry sour. Dang good. Josh the barkeep was great and loved his dog Mick. We ordered food from a local place which was good. Lots of seating and decorated in a clean and rustic way. This place is a definite spot to hitt

    Cheers!

After 4 months of doing absolutely nothing, we decided to fly to Rapid City to get outside for a week; Dakota Point has the distinction of being the first brewery we were able to visit after being in lockdown. Oh how I missed the brewery scene, Dakota Point has both inside and outside seating (the latter being seasonal I presume). We had our first beer inside, then decided to go out on the porch. Beer selection was good, after being away for lo long, I kinda forgot what to expect from a brewery, but they brought me right back! Really like how the brewery is right next to the freight rail line that goes through town, drink (responsibly please) every time you hear the train whistle! Friendly staff and seemed to follow social distancing and mask wearing best practices, even though they aren't required by the state government.

Great outdoor patio tucked back off the main road. This brewery had more outdoor space and the garage doors were open allowing for great airflow throughout. The beers were great and they did offer a few snack options. If your hungry you can bring along a pizza or takeout.

I am visiting Rapid City for the first time and tried Dakota Point as my first stop. I had sample of 4 beers, all were very good. Took home a growler of the Jack the Rippenator, it is so good.

The only brewery open late in Rapid city. Its was late still i got a warm welcome with great suggestions. Must try "I don't know" beer. We loved it. Great service.

I love this little bar! Great drinks, yummy food, and friendly people. The sushi food truck is there every night and the beers on tap rotate.

The upstairs area of this restaurant was stifling hot; I would've been uncomfortable on a normal day, even if I wasn't slightly overheated and sunburned from a day outside. I heard several other people complain about how hot it was; it seems like even a small box fan would be helpful to circulate the air upstairs. The service seemed slow, but our server was friendly. We mostly stopped here for the old firehouse atmosphere because we thought our kids would enjoy it, and they did, and enjoyed getting plastic fire hats to wear while eating. Our food was fine. My son got the mac & cheese off the kids menu which he did not enjoy and said it was gross. It looked to be fine and he's just picky, but he's not actually a picky eater so something was a little off with it. We got the beer bread for our youngest son to nibble on, but he wouldn't touch it and none of the rest of us ate it after having a bite because it was stale and tasteless. My husband got a reuben, which they advertise as one of their specialties and said it pretty tasted like a generic reuben. There was nothing special or particularly delicious about it. I got the western burger, which was good and I enjoyed the marmalade topping on it. I don't love battered fries, which is what they serve, but they weren't bad. Just not my preference. We also got a side of baked beans for kids, but they were very sweet and the beans were still pretty firm so they did not love them. It seems like the reviews are mixed, but if we were in the area again, we would probably not return.
