I tried a few of the beers and meads and really enjoyed the Cranberry Hibiscus mead. I found it to be not too sweet and the cranberry and hibiscus flavors come through good. If you can't decide what to drink (they also have non-alcoholic options!), grab a flight. The food was pretty decent. Prices were a few dollars more than expected, but can't complain too much. The General Custer (bison cheesesteak) was flavorful and the Prairie Queso and Chips was just okay. The Little Burger on the Prairie was a good deal for kids - cheeseburger, Capri Sun, and goldfish for $8. Also trier both sides and I surprisingly enjoyed the Bourbon beans more (usually not a fan of baked beans) and they weren't too sweet. If you stay overnight via Harvest Host, I'd definitely pay the extra $40 to get full hookups for your RV.

They gave you this really cool wristband and all you have to do is tap it to whatever beer you wanna try and then you can pour as much as you want! They have upstairs and downstairs seating, board games, shuffleboard, darts, and TVs spread throughout if you want to catch the game. It's a great place to hang out! The pizza was sooo good! It's Detroit style with a crispy buttery crust. We got the Sizzlin' Sweet Pie which had pineapple, ricotta, bacon, and jalapeños. Delicious! Don't sleep on the fries though! Those things were cooked to perfection, crispy but fluffy on the inside and though they don't look like they are seasoned, they are seasoned perfectly! It was like magic - I don't know how they did it. I could not get enough of them!

Paying just for the amount of ounces poured instead of a whole glass was right up my alley. I was able to sample, beer, cider, and wine all in the same night without feeling like I overindulged. This was by far my favorite experience in rapid city. On top of the selection of beer the food was amazing. We tried one of the pizzas ( prosciutto, arugula and fig)and the flavor profiles were amazing.'perfect compliment to the wine I had poured. The moment we walked in and said it was out first time the staff greeted us and took time to explain the entire process and even walked over to show us where to find pricing on the taps. Will definitely be back if we are ever in rapid city again.

Unfortunately, some of the sours were already sold out, so I didn't get to try the ones I was really hoping for. They did still have a few other sours available, though, and the ones we tried were pretty good. One thing I found a little strange was the beer flight. It was priced similarly to other flights we've had, but instead of the usual four beers, they only serve three. They bring the flight out on a paddle with four slots, but only allow three beers, which seemed a little odd. The food was pretty good. We got the buffalo burger, crab dip, and beer cheese soup, and enjoyed everything. The ambience is definitely one of the highlights the brewery is located inside a repurposed firehouse, which makes it a really cool and unique space. Overall, we had a good experience. I just wish more of the beers had been available and that the flight included four beers like the paddle suggests.
