I paid almost 13k that day and they placed the orders....they said it will be around 8 weeks. I said no problem fast forward weeks they called and said hey good news and bad news . Good news your shower is in bad news we FORGOT to order your master shower. Took about 5 weeks to get that one they forgot to order. I get the showers installed they look amazing now time to measure for the custom doors sent the measurements to handyman and they ordered the glass fast forward another month and doors are here time to install and yet the glass door hits the accent border, they tell me there is nothing they can do and the only thing I can do is but notch my CUSTOM shower... thought we were trying to avoid this hence CUSTOM shower they messed up and now I have to deal with it and hack up my brand new shower all in all a horrible experience

Cost more than $200, but we thought it would be of good quality. Big mistake! Drove home [60+ miles] and when we opened the boxes, were stunned at the poor quality of the materials and how flimsy everything was. The towel bars literally flex when you touch them, the brackets to attach to the wall were less than 1" across. As we are selling the house, we pray they will hold up until we sell. BURNED. Will not ever buy from this place again.

A while before needing the countertops for my new home construction project my wife and I stopped by Sone City to see if they had any granite we liked and to get a ballpark estimate for our project. The original bid looked attractive and we put a $300 deposit down. Before we needed the countertops installed, my wife and I came across some quartz that would be a perfect fit for our kitchen and decided to still use the grainte in the basement bar area. I talked to Joyce and she was understanding and fine with that and would apply the $300 deposit to the granite to be used for the bar. When time came to measure, I called a few days in advance and was told someone would be out to measure right away. A couple days passed after I was told someone would come out and I never heard from Stone City so I called and was told they would come out the next day. This happened one more time before my wife got a call and was told they couldn't find the house since they went to our apartment we were living in and not the house being built. After they finally made it out to measure, over a week late, I got the final bid before they started to cut the slabs and was told the installed price was now going to be over $80/sq foot, much higher than the roughly $60/sq foot we were originally quoted. They added in charges for each hole to be cut and each linear foot of edging (which was never discussed earlier). I was frustrated and told them to just forget the project and I ended up having the same company that installed the quartz in my kitchen also install it for the basement bar since they had provided GREAT service and didn't nickel and dime everything. Stone City kept my deposit money and I just consider it a lesson for myself not to give a deposit until I have all the "extra" costs written down first. I recommend the other countertop company to other people I know and have told others about my experience at Stone City. The low advertised prices don't apply to most people's projects IMHO.

Within 3-5 years every single piece is catastrophically failing: * Paint bubbling and peeling on untouched undersides, raised center panels, and even the permanently-installed cabinet boxes * Miter joints opening * Rails warping and MDF panels delaminating MasterBrand's official response (November 21, 2025 letter - see attached screenshots) denied it was a manufacturing defect, blamed me for "excessive moisture/water damage and normal wear," and offered to replace only 14 pieces (less than half) as a "one-time courtesy."They demanded I permanently waive my Lifetime Warranty rights by signing the letter, stated "no further parts will be provided," and refused to cover labor or guarantee color match. These cabinets fail multiple mandatory ANSI/KCMA A161.1 performance tests that StarMark advertises on every brochure and website: * 5.4.1 - Finish Adhesion * 5.3 - Front Joint Strength (open miters) * 5.8 - Shrinkage & Heat * 4.3.3 / 4.3.6 - Chemical & Humidity Resistance This is the exact same widespread defect hitting hundreds of 2019-2022 painted StarMark, Schuler, Omega, Diamond, and other MasterBrand lines. Search Houzz or Reddit - the photos are identical to mine. StarMark/MasterBrand knows these painted finishes are defective but refuses to stand behind the Lifetime Warranty they sold us. Instead they use fake "environmental damage" excuses and force customers to give up their legal rights for a partial, useless fix. I am currently escalating with KCMA (requesting certification suspension), New York Attorney General (§349 deceptive practices), FTC, and CFPB. Will update if they ever do the right thing. Save yourself six figures and years of misery.Avoid painted StarMark cabinets at all costs. Stained only, or choose any other brand. Zero stars.

Ajay had 85ish at the time, and ALL were 5 stars! Now that our project is done, I can say he is great to work with. He listens carefully to what you say. He doesn't try to push something on you, instead he finds what you are looking for. We went almost entirely with his suggestions because they were so great. We completely gutted and remodeled a bathroom. It looks absolutely phenomenal! Ajay recommended a contractor he works with, Dave Moss of Wizbuilt. Excellent suggestion. Ajay made suggestions or passed on suggestions for all the sub-contractors. All were great to work with. Yes we had some delays, but that was due to a supply chain issue, not Ajay's fault. Ajay did an exceptional job communicating, which is a pet peeve of mine with many service providers. He did all the leg work with the vendors, making sure we had the products we needed when the subs and general needed them, except for two items referenced previously. Even with those, he kept us updated. I thought is pricing was very fair. When we received his final bill I thought he was also more than fair for the time he charged. I'm certain he spent more time working on our project than he billed! After checking if we were open to it, he made some suggestions for the rest of our house. These involved moving furniture around, changing some lighting and repainting. Easy peazy and made a huge difference in how open our house feels. We have a few more rearrangements to do, but need to de-clutter a bit to make it possible. Really pleased with his vision of our "space". We have a couple more remodel items to tackle, but need to wait to build up our funds. Ajay was very sensitive to this, often making suggestions that saved us money. We will call Ajay when we are ready to move forward on these, which is the highest recommendation we can give.

His expertise and knowledge helps us prioritize which projects to tackle first and gave us great inspiration for the entire space. We're really excited with the vision he helped us create and now we have a plan to put it into action!
