Edit: 5/4/23 I came back after a week explaining what had happened. They helped remedied it and redid my nails for a discounted price. This time sophia did my nails and she did a better job. It definitely depends who does your nails here so once you have established your nail person, make sure you book them again next time. Thank you for the quick resolution. 4/26/24 Acrylics started to lift after 4 days. Will contact store to see what they can do to help fix this. I'll update this review then. read more

I've been here twice. The first time I was happy with my nails and gel pedicure. The first time I went, they were able to save my nails from breaking because they were really weak. Even when one mail broke a few days later, they repaired it at no cost. That was awesome and much appreciated! But when I returned the second time for a pedicure only, I realized the first time I had come in, the technician was in such a rush that she didn't everything included in the pedicure! I was surprised when the technician began removing my calluses...I asked if that was extra. Needless to say when she said it's included, as I show in the picture, I was annoyed I didn't get that service in my first experience at Daisy's. I shared that with her and she was surprised I didn't get that included service either. I'm willing to try them again but I think you should be aware and advocate for yourself! read more

I was a regular here at this salon for a long time. My last pedicure, they used a device that is illegal in the state of California and cut my toe open. It took over an hour to stop the bleeding. It has now been almost two months and it still has not fully healed and causes me pain daily. The cut was very deep. They have not responded to any letters asking for their insurance company information so I can file a claim. Knowing they used this illegal callous remover device is upsetting because it is illegal for a reason! Ignoring certified letters sent requesting insurance information so we can file a claim for the medical expenses etc is very irresponsible and unprofessional. read more

Trying out a new nail place today because I deserve a Treat to this trick or treat season .. so I thought...ha... Available hours Mon-Sat 9:30-7:30 and Sun 9:30-5pm. The atmosphere is very clean upbeat, bright and busy, no chair was empty. All the customers seemed happy and enjoying their services. (Until I sat down...next to a lady) I called ahead at 3:50pm to confirm availability for walk in at 4:10pm on Sunday they take walk ins no question on the timing. As long as a nail-tech is able they will take you based on your request I'm sure. The front greeter, Leah, very kind asked I enter my name and service needed and I took a seat waited maybe 10 minutes not too bad for a walk in she then showed me my pedicure chair and asked me to make sure the temperature was to my liking. Usually they have you soak in something mixed into the water it was literally just water... and it was cold... I asked for it to be warmed up and the mail tech at that moment considered me to be "a pain" maybe idk... Apparently my feet smelt a little bit.... She sprayed me with alcohol ... the ladies next to me even gave me the look like "wtf" my feet soaked for 30 mins before she started so I'm not entirely sure how my feet smelt??? As I've never been given this comment before in my lifetime ever. But that comment as a professional should probably be kept to yourself. All jokes aside in a busy setting that can be embarrassing to some, or for some, even a medical condition. The entire time she helped me she was coughing and making me feel like I was an inconvenience. I'm not sure if she was sick and not feeling well but it showed during my pedicure she was just not happy to be assisting me and was rushing the entire service. She rushed my polish and didn't clean up the edges. During the cuticular care she dug into the corner of my nail and I stated owe. She didn't hear me and the lady next to her said look. She then looked up said "I have to get it to look nice". I said ok but don't dig please. I gave them a 3 over all because I feel this expirience could have been better should they have not felt "rushed" or she felt better? I went into this salon a little before 6 pm on 4/17. The number of issues I've seen over the past 15ish hours is definitely not worth the $95 I paid for the service. I asked for a #3 manicure because I knew my hands and cuticles needed extra work, and then I also wanted a full set of almond acrylics. The nails are uneven lengths, there's cured gel and acrylic on my skin, the underside of a couple of the nails is actually embarrassing, and my cuticles look worse than they did when I walked in. The polish doesn't cover entire nails and I truly feel like everything just looks messy and rushed. And oh! I can't run my hands through my hair, because strands are definitely already getting caught under the acrylic- fingers crossed that it doesn't pop off before the weekend is over since I got them done for an event. read more

After a few bad experiences at other shops in the AV, I've been in desperate need of a new place! Thanks to some good google reviews I decided to give Daisy a try. I stopped in for a pedi at 4:30pm on a Friday. Called ahead to make sure they could take me... I was late and only had to wait about 10 mins. At the time of this review, the place is only about 9 months old, super cute and clean. The pedicure chairs seem brand new and don't have that funk sewage smell when draining that some other places in the AV have if you've been getting your nails done as long as I have, you know what I'm talking about! They have tons of color options to choose from and from the looks of it, they do a pretty good job at shaping acrylics. I didn't get a full set here but the techs sound helpful and are prepared with design ideas. I overheard a few techs talking to clients and showing different inspo pics... my tech let me know acrylics start off at $45 for a full short set, prices go up by length. Ivy (I hope I remembered her name correctly) did an amazing job on my pedicure, especially after going so long without one. I will definitely be a repeat client with her :) The only downside - it is $15 extra for Gel if you get a pedi. I understand inflation is hitting everyone right now but I feel it's a bit pricey given the overall pricing of their pedi options. I'll probably bring my own polish in the future to avoid this charge. Nice touch - about half way through my pedi, one of the techs handed out water bottles to everyone. They even had snack options and suckers for the little ones who came with their moms. They do offer kid mani/pedis - a little princess who was probably about 7 was there getting a bday mani/pedi done with her little sister who was probably 4 or 5. read more

Left pissed. I said from the beginning I wanted a manicure, no gel, just natural. At first the lady put on a gel base coat and I repeated how I didn't want gel. Then, I expressed I a pink shade base. The French mani ended up being a clear base and that's not what I requested. The nail lady was going to remedy it by putting a pink shade adding the coating from left to right because the French tip was already on. It looked sloppy that way. I've gone to other salons where a natural (no gel) French tip pink shade is provided. This place charged me $30 leaving the salon with my nails looking like this. She didn't bother to at least put on cuticle oil or a base coat. Such unexpected bad service. My first time here and left with a horrific bad impression. $30 for this (photos included) read more

More expensive than what I am accustomed to paying but the work was great. Got the full package the first day I went, pedicure, refill with design, quick eyelashes and my eyebrows arched. The only thing I wasn't satisfied with was the arching of my eyebrows. They didn't follow my shape and I've had to let them grow back out. Now the designs in my nails were fire both trips. So this review comes after getting my nails done on 2 separate occasions. Johnny does my nails. Hes good but can be rough when taking care of your cuticles which I've bled both times. And sometimes he doesn't polish all the way to the nail bed which I like because they look neater and cleaner so you have to make sure he does. Just a follow up response for the owner, I did call and did go to the salon as I stated earlier. They "fixed it" but nothing was fixed. The nail tech just threw on gel polish and called it a day. Nails are still lifting. I sent images through Instagram. Maybe you should take a look to see what I'm talking about. This is the second time this has happened so I think I'll pass on this shop for now on. Great people just not so good service. Thank you for your time.
