I went in in early February to do a very simple pink manicure for Valentine's Day. 1.5 hours & $60 later I came out of Daisy Nails looking like the below photos. My technician pulled my cuticles off to the point where he was mistaking it for skin... my skin has never looked this bad around my nails in my life. I first asked for dip powder and was bullied into gel, then realized its because he wanted to get me out the door. The whole process was rushed, my nails were shaped unevenly, I politely asked him to fix the shape a few times and in the end he filed them down to nubs AND the paint was grooved/uneven too. I used to get full acrylic sets for cheaper than whatever this job was. I found a new lady at Sky Nails that does an amazing job, takes her time and pays attention to detail. I'm NEVER going anywhere else in the AV ever again, and this place is the last on my list. Also while I was there, the technicians were arguing with a customer who told them that one of the other male technicians there shaped her nail wrong and clipped it way too short after she told him what she'd like done. The whole time the nail tech working on my nails was just staring, paying attention to the argument. I'll reiterate, he rushed the process of my nails and $60 bucks for this was ridiculous... yes including a 15% tip. Regardless they're EXTREMELY over priced here, but at least the salon was one of the cleaner places I've seen in the valley. PSA: I took these photos 2 days after I got my nails done. My nails don't grow very fast so I noticed he didn't paint my file nail and the thumb had already chipped. read more

Hana literally ate me up. My aura has never been higher. I came in and I brought two photos because I've been done dirty before but she saw the harder design and said "that's easy" she was not here to play. She beat my hands into oblivion. I left looking badder than I've ever been and it's all thanks to her. I'd trust that woman with my life and her outfit was on point. Literally saving my hand's life. Could not recommend more. I'm disappointed with the work of the technicians. I decide to take a chance with a new shop closer to home. This shop had the best reviews on yelp in our area but the work was not good. Now the amount of money I pay is not an issue. As I am used to paying high prices for my nails. Choose a $50 pedicure with expectations of getting a good cleaning. Cuticle was removed but underneath my nails was not cleaned. Message one foot instead of my feet. Then the polish looks like a child did it. Not neat or clean. Nails, are bulky and shape was not straight coffin. Previous set was removed and polish from old set was left under the new set where you can see it. Not good. That's going to bother me. read more

It is always so hard finding a nail salon especially out here in the antelope valley that keeps up with new trends and designs that I like to do , that being said I did like my set but I just don't think it was worth $175. I did get a pedicure and full set but when I was asked what pedicure I wanted, I went with the basic one and ended up getting charged for a different type of pedicure when I never asked for it. it was very clean and pretty inside but I most likely won't go back. They were nice, but the nail artists did decide on her own she would make one nail different and the picture I showed was nowhere near this. But they were okay .You can't tell but they were not smooth either, they were a bit bumpy read more

This is my first negative review since joining Yelp. I get my lashes done regularly and am very respectful of the artist trades. I waited several weeks to post this review in case I felt differently after some time. Johnny was my nail tech and I over heard him being so personable to the lady he was working on before me I thought this was going to be a pleasant appointment but it was the worst I've ever had. I'll just list the highlights. - I showed him a picture of pink ombré in almond shape. He started using nude and it was too late once I realized he had just started using the powder that was already at his station. - He was so rough with my hands and kept telling me I was stiff. I kept apologizing because I hadn't had acrylics in 15 yrs. But plus he was hurting me so it made it impossible for me to be relaxed. - he had spilled some black powder during the session and did not clean it up properly so some of it got on the gold flakes that I had asked him to put on. There was only dark spots on 1 of the 2 nails that had the gold flakes. -he was so rough with the Dremel filing tool that my thumb was injured. He was so frustrated that he just stopped abruptly, I think one nail still wasn't glossy. And shoo'ed me over to the cash register. Not before, without warning or apology, pouring alcohol or acetone on my cut thumb and said it would be ok in a little while. So I was charged $80 for a full set and tipped him $20. (In case Johnny is reading this and needs a refresher on who this is). I have no problem paying for this service. I left Daisy Nails feeling like I had said something offensive but I know I was polite. Even the woman getting her nails done next to me gave me a worried looked when I was being spoken rudely to. I gave an extra star because this salon was decorated very nicely and looked clean. Initially very promising since I've moved out here from LA proper but I really couldn't believe the experience. The nails generally looked nice from afar. I ended up having them removed before going under anesthesia (docs ordered). I went to a salon in Thousand Oaks and the removal process was gnarly but surprisingly less painful than getting them put on. The guy who worked on me in Thousand Oaks said they would have charged $55 for a new set. I saw his work and it looked nice and delicate. He jokingly said that whoever did my nails put all the powder they had on me. read more

If you are getting short acrylic nails avoid, AVOID!!!! going to John; also, he is pretty rough and aggressive. He will literally smack your hands when removing acrylic dust. Thank you Hana for fixing my nails that John had messed up. This nail salon is so cute and I always have a great experience it was just the first time i went with John and had a very unpleasant experience as soon as he found out i was getting short acrylic. I normally have a wonderful experience here. Today 09/07/24 was the worst I've ever had and has me contemplating coming back. When I walked in at 11:00am I asked for a pedi and full set. They allowed others to be serviced before me. I think this is totally unacceptable. Especially since I told them I was on a time schedule. I went to this salon 9/27 and got a take off service and full set (color powder) with clear polish. I was charged $70 total and told $10 was for take-off. That's fine and dandy! I went today for a FILL on the same set. Ms. Kim was so amazed at the little new growth needing a fill in the time that passed. My fill was the exact same color and I did clear polish again. I was charged $60 for the FILL which is the same price I paid for a FULL set which required more time and materials. When I asked why and showed my bank statement and me paying Daisy's Nails they came up with every excuse in the book.. cause my nail length (which is short), cause I used color powder and whatever other lame claims were made. I went in today to get a pedicure and full set and I walked out very satisfied. The salon was very clean and super cute. I walked in without an appointment and I waited less than 5 minutes! I would definitely recommend coming to this nail salon. The only thing that I didn't like was that the lady that was doing my nails kept commenting on my sweaty hands. It made me feel super embarrassed as there was other people there that could hear her. I was born that way and I hate going to nails salons for this reason especially because it's not something that I can control. I used to regularly go to a nail salon closer to me but after a few bad experiences, I decided to look for somewhere new. I have tried out most of the salons within a 15 min range of me and was never really ecstatic to return to any of them for quality or service reasons. With that said, I was greeted with a friendly smile the second I walked through the door, check in was simple and everyone was very attentive. All of the ladies were extremely sweet despite me likely seeming uncomfortable because of my social anxiety. Throughout the whole experience all of them were friendly and I felt a lot more comfortable than I usually do in these settings. The salon itself was beautiful and there were ample options to choose from as far as designs and colors go. Overall I'm very happy with my nails. I typically go with a more simple look but I love how these have upgraded essence to them while still looking elegant. I also got a pedicure, which was a huge difference to ones I've had before. With past experiences at other salons, the techs are in a rush, but here my pedicure left my feet feeling renewed and very soft (I like to run so my feet take some heavy abuse). I typically don't do reviews but I actually really enjoyed my experience and find that the 30-40 min drive was worth it! read more

I have been here twice and both times my nails came out super cute! Hana is very sweet and has done my nails both times, and every time I show her a design just once and she finds the perfect colors and glitter for them. I like that she asks me if length is okay before moving on, because I work on the computer and lift weights, so I get them short but still want them pretty :) The salon is well decorated and open, and they literally have every color you could want. They offer you water, tea, coffee, or soda and have snacks! They are always willing to fix a problem, as long as you tell them what you need. Their prices are reasonable and it's easy to book an appointment. I sometimes come during my lunch hour and they get me out on time but never rush me along. read more
