Plenty of clean towels Its is not a modern hotel , it is A piece of AMERICA circa 1975ish . It has charm and friendly staff. Admittedly our family is a little particular. OK maybe very particular. We searched the immediate area and found this location but we're skeptical. The reviews on another site we're actually stellar which capped off our decision to try something a little unique and we were not disappointed. Samantha's timber Inn appears to be an old style motel that has been completely renovated. Each room as unique as the website indicates with a specific theme. Ours was a boat theme and the pictures posted here don't do the place justice. Tongue and groove pine board paneling and matching decorations down to the shower curtain made you feel like you were in a ship. The space is sprawling including a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. It was meticulously clean and very well appointed. TVs, microwave, coffee maker with coffee and condiments. Super plush towels. Comfortable beds. Wi-fi. We had just pulled in and I received a call asking if we arrived OK and had found the key under the doormat as promised. Check out was smooth and easy. We felt incredibly comfortable in the space and would recommend it to anyone but especially a family.

The cabins are in a beautiful setting but ours was furnished like the cheapest motel ever. The sofa looked like it was found on the side of the road and was as hard as a rock. The extra chair was not comfortable at all. The deck plastic chairs were broke and had to be leaned against the cabin wall to keep from feeling like you were going to fall back out of them. The TV was so tiny- probably a 10"- and far away it was a strain to see so didn't even watch. The beds were very uncomfortable and had to be the cheapest mattresses ever made.. I found chunks of food on the floor and behind the bed hadn't been vacuumed in years. Towels and bathroom and kitchen were clean though.

We were happy for room availability great service from Rachel and appreciate her patience. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Our room was clean, cool and smelled great(no funky carpet smell). They had a great breakfast selection and spacious eating area. My family and I really liked everything. They have ample parking, small gym, pool and computer corner. After playing some fried eggs and pork sausage, the attendant wrapped the plate for me and also brought me a tray. With having 5 mouths to feed, she also allowed me to take a tray of cinnamon rolls back to the room. I mean, I am still in awe with how helpful and kind she was. They have done a great job of increasing that value. Last time we were in town we let the others pick the place to stay. It was about $60 higher but not nicer. It was more than one level ( a hotel) , but that was it. This stay was Nov.7th, 2024. Andy at the desk , was very friendly. No negatives to report. Being a retired truck driver , I've stayed at hotels quite a bit. This Motel is one of my favorites. I hate to pay a sizable amount and it's nothing special. This place suits me perfectly! We will be back, soon.

Bed was comfortable, nice hot shower, smart tv for Netflix etc. and 5th extra star because there was a ceiling fan! $150 for two nights was a steal and would stay again. Had breakfast in the morning and checkout at 11. Only downside was the walls are really thin and we heard a man coughing horribly one night. Honestly I have stayed at expensive hotels that were run down more than this. If your looking for the Ritz this ain't it. If you want a comfortable bed and a place to crash in a small town, this place fits the bill.
