The facility includes a picturesque two story guest lodge with spacious decks offering breathtaking views of the Ouachita Mountains and woodlands. Accommodations in the lodge include both dormitory style and private rooms along with a comfortable dining area and a great room with vaulted ceilings accented by a massive stone fireplace, inviting bookcases filled with books and a baby grand piano. Peace Valley boasts a reputation for serving fabulous meals for their guests. Upstairs is a large carpeted meeting/workshop room with a sound system and seating for 35. Also upstairs, there is a smaller space used as a group meditation or meeting area with an adjacent outside deck with magnificent views of the mountains and the small lake alongside the lodge. There are rustic cabins nestled in the nearby woods and a newly renovated barn (Telos Landing) that are perfect for personal retreats. Peace Valley is available for group events such as workshops, seminars, and meetings.

History

Established in 1992.

Peace Valley Sanctuary is located on 70 pristine acres in southwest Arkansas surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest. The lush landscape is accented by large trees, open pasture land amidst ranging forests, two babbling streams fed by the forest watershed with an extensive panorama of mountains in the distance. The mystical site of a conscious Earthkeeper Crystal, Peace Valley is a sanctuary of ancient wisdom, healing and transcendence. The Native American tribes of both the Caddo and Tula occupied this land at different times and used it for generations. At one time Peace Valley was designated as a "time out" place where many tribes were welcome to visit and stay to experience healing or in some cases to prepare themselves for their crossing to "Great Spirit" at the end of their earthly life. Many believed that the crossing was easier in the refined, high frequency energetic vortex on the land.

My spiritual contract as the guardian of Peace Valley Sanctuary and the Earth Keeper Crystal located here began in 1992. The beauty and peacefulness I felt on the land was like coming home to myself. My vision is to direct the force-field of love at Peace Valley Sanctuary towards promoting universal values such as unity with everyone, living and creating from a love based reality, and empowering all to feel fully validated by celebrating our diversity and creating and manifesting the New Earth. Guests are welcome to come alone or in small groups for a personal retreat. We also welcome larger group events that teach and promote healing, self-awareness, mindfulness and self-empowerment by expanding consciousness through classes filled with laughter, love and meaningful interaction.
