The specials are generally quite experimental flavours like Red Wine & Chocolate, or Coconut, Mango and Chilli. So good! The cakes are a very reasonable two euro each and you can get a loyalty card which means you get a freebie once you've had a baker's dozen.

However due to Graham's good will (and amazing marketing) with his YES equality buns, I couldn't resist at least paying a visit to his cute little stall on Coppinger Row. I immediately went for the adorable Pride rainbow bun, and then lovely Graham went about telling me the other flavours. I was very close to buying the slice of rainbow cake but instead went for the WooWoo (complete with shot of vodka) and Pink Lemonade (with a butt on it, for whatever reason), along with the vanilla Pride cake. The ordering process must've been simple or else my gifters wouldn't have bothered with it. They taste amazing. Each flavor is subtle and perfectly nuanced without being overpowering. I've had mint cupcakes that taste like toothpaste. Not the case here. They are perfect with a cup of tea or a cup of coffee. I'm extra appreciative of the efforts out forth to keep open and continue delivery during the COVID pandemic and quarantine. So glad there's a kiosk closer to city center so I can get another one in the future, when life is a bit more normal.

You can order big orders from the website or catch them at various farmers markets around Dublin-have spotted them at Ranelagh on Saturdays and Sundays (on from 10-6pm) and also at Howth Farmer's Market on Sundays. They seem to also sell their cupcakes to the Nutz stall in the Ilac centre. Paula and her husband are soooo friendly and usually have a few samples on offer. This is dangerous-you WILL want to buy everything you taste. Multiple varieties are on offer, all beautifully decorated. I can't decide which is my favourite. There's a vanilla one decorated with a flake and sugar strands which I could swear tastes like a 99 ice-cream. Banana bread one is sweetly delicious and decorated with a banana chip, there's a divine carrot cake version, orange and poppyseed, lemon, vanilla chocolate, double chocolate, red velvet, Oreos....the list goes on. I'm usually to be found staring at the stand knowing I want one of each, but fighting the urge because it could seem greedy. And I can only invent a starving family of 10 a few times before it begins to seem a bit unlikely! Luckily, they offer mini versions too for €1.50 so you can sample them all. I have been reliably informed that they remove the calories from these during baking...and also that calories don't count on a Sunday. Enjoy!

I went here for breakfast and ordered their Irish Porridge with seasonal fruit, cream and toasted almonds along with a blueberry scone (can't visit a tart shop and not order a dessert). The porridge was huge. There was no way that I needed both the porridge and the scone but when in Dublin... It was creamy and had a great thick texture. The scone was light and fluffy and paired well with the butter and jam they give you. My only complaint was that I would have liked a larger cup of jam for my scone but only because it was so good! I would definitely go back and I highly recommend this place.
