Thankfully a store that you can do business with without feeling ripped off when cashing out.

Our wedding planner put us in contact with Creative DNA as a potential creative partner to design…read moreour invitations. They were great to work with and were able to synthesize a very unique wedding theme, Frank Lloyd Wright meets cats (not the musical by the way). The invitation suite they put together is quite possibly one of the most unique ones that we've ever seen. Carrie and Nikki created an laser engraved acrylic invitation wrapped in vellum with a unique Frank Lloyd Wright inspired design behind it. Our guests were VERY impressed with our invitations. To quote one of our guests 'This is easily the fanciest wedding invitation I have ever received!' In addition to our superb invitation, Carrie and Nikki created our save-the-dates, the escort cards, and table number displays as well. They carried the theme of the invitation through to the reception creating a cohesive experience that delighted our guests. They were also gracious enough to provide us the cat drawing they used on our invitation so that we could use them on our wedding favors and at the photobooth. Our experience working with Creative DNA was an absolute pleasure. Wedding Invitations are the first impression your guests will have of your wedding and Creative DNA can help you create a perfect first impression. CreativeDNA worked with us to stay within budget as well as meeting all of our deadlines to ensure invitations and save the dates were mailed out without any issues. We're just sad that we don't have anything else to work with them on.

Everything from the dessert bar, invitations, to the signs we used in our pictures, everything flowed and exceeded our expectations. Out of all the vendors we used, we only thanked them during our speech as they were such a big factor in the whole process. The ideas and designs they come up with are awesome....give them a thought or idea and I guarantee you they will amaze you. This isn't some big business that treats you like a number, they take every customer as being important. If I could give them more than a 5 I would...thank you ladies again.

We came in to this store to find a gift for a good friend. This is your average stationary and…read moregifts store. They have lots of beautiful journals, notepads, calendars, gift wrapping, pens, and all of the things that you would expect from such a store. They also have some hand made soaps and lotions, and some very beautiful tea sets. The way that we were greeted was very odd, it actually felt like we were imposing, because of the urgency in the woman's voice. She had her purse on her shoulder, so I thought that maybe she was on her way out and we were infringing upon her scheduled break, but her purse remained on her shoulder the entire time we were there, so I guess it's just how she liked it, and so I dismissed her initial tone as something that had nothing to do with us...even though it felt oddly deliberate. My daughter and I began browsing and talking back and forth as we saw items that grabbed our interest. While we were doing this, the woman with her purse on her shoulder kept coming right up to us and loudly talking over us to tell us about this item or that item, and I politely thanked her each time, even though I couldn't understand what exactly she was saying about these items because my daughter was also mid sentence with me, each time. I continued to thank her and attempted to get eye contact, but she couldn't or wouldn't look me in the eye. She finally stopped bombarding us and allowed us to browse and we could finally hear each other. This entire exchange seemed to serve no useful purpose since she kept talking at us, and not to us, and she kept choosing to talk at us while we were talking to each other. Instead of feeling like an attempt to communicate, it felt like she was being disruptive and rude. In fact, I did not get the sense that she wanted to be helpful in any way. It felt like she was judging us as potential shop lifters and she wanted to make sure that we knew she had her eyes on us. Now the odd tone that I heard in her voice when she was 'greeting' us made sense. While my daughter was trying to decide between getting stationary or body lotions another patron entered the store. The woman with her purse was warm and very welcoming to him. It was a very stark contrast to the tone, words, and facial expressions that we were given. Also, there was a second elderly woman watching us like a hawk the entire time and she asked my daughter where the University that was represented on her T-shirt was located. She then asked her in a very condescending tone if she went to that University (she's a high school student, and looks young for her age) and my daughter, in her soft spoken way, let her know that I was the one who attended. This was a very awkward exchange, and again, it felt like we were being judged and looked down upon. We made our selection, observed the good prices, and then we left. My daughter looked at me and said that it was a very "weird" shopping experience. While we were able to find a gift and make a purchase, we felt very conflicted as we were shopping because of the contradictory vibes. If someone's facial expression is foul when they see you, then the seemingly welcoming words that come from their mouths fall flat. There was a condescending attitude and I felt as though we were grudgingly tolerated, but not actually welcome. We'll never step foot in that store again. The good thing is that they have nothing that can't be found elsewhere.

Wonderful items, really good prices. I also browsed some other items and ended up buying a very nice, good quality picture frame that would have been more expensive at Michael's! The store has been around for 56 years, according to the lady working there, and the service is tops - she even wrapped a gift I was buying for a baby shower.....now what store does that anymore?

So i placed an online order for a shirt & the only reason i placed the order at this specific…read morelocation is because when i looked for the item, the availability said in stock & available for pick up. I placed the order pretty early in the morning (8:59am) & then received an email that the order was being processed. I also called to make sure that there were still some in stock & since i was told there was, i just drove there to buy what was on the shelf if my order for whatever reason wasn't ready. When i got there it was a little busy, understandable since it's dec 23rd, but i waited in line to ask about my order after not finding the shirt on the shelf. The woman at the register was rude to the person in front of me so i didn't expect much. She told me that she's been busy & hasn't had time to look in the back for my item. That's fine. I asked if it would be ready later in the day & she assured me it would be & that i would receive a text. I had more shopping to do anyways so i left & went about my day. That was at 11:30am. At 4:00pm I still hadn't been texted so i called customer support. I asked about my order & they put me on hold to call the manager & ask what was going on. They let me know that the manager said they were busy & that she would check the next day. The store closes at 9pm, & the manager already decided that she wouldn't bother with my order till the next morning. Again, it was fine. I get a text at 7:10pm saying that my order has been cancelled. I go to check my email & see that it was cancelled because now all of a sudden it's out of stock. Even though online it says it's available, & even after i had called in the morning & was told it was available. So either the woman was petty enough to just cancel the order because i called to check up on it, or the manager just can't be bothered to update the store's stock. It's funny because when i go online it still says available for pick up. I didn't catch this employee's name, but she's the oldest woman who works there. There were other employees there when i showed up in person so it's not like she was swamped alone today but from who i saw there she's definitely the oldest. If you don't want to work then why are you there?

Clothes, jewelry, backpacks, party items and much more. The prices are like any other place like this at a mall. In the front of the store the set up is basically set up for the youth. All types of shirts and trinkets for them. On the right side of spencers is shirts on the wall and some jewelry. In the center they have a poster section and clothes for the little ones. I didn't go to much on the left side of Spencers and the back. That's where it was getting a little intriguing. I tried to snap shots, but as soon as I was snapping in other areas, people noticed and looked a bit nervous around me. I'll just say this, Spencers has some interesting toys in the back. Next time I'm here , I'll try to take photos. So Spencers Gifts has a little of everything for everyone. I should of came here a long time ago, but at the time it wasn't my thing. I'm a fan now :) Yes I had an enjoyable experience , today at Spencers Gifts. I'll definitely be coming back. Okay just a little update: I hit the back today and took some pictures of all the goodies. I hope you enjoy them :) Vincent D *VD* Life is Beautiful
