She had a pleasant demeanor and was quick to get me a seat and a soda. I was not super hungry so I went with the basic cheese burger and tots. The food was hot and tasty. The burger was cooked medium+ but still juicy. The veg on the burger was cool and crisp and fresh. Even the tomato was good and this time of year that's saying something. The bun was soft but not fall apart wimpy. The tots were cooked crisp which is good but these were on the verge of too crisp for my liking. There are two distinct dining areas one is more "restaurant" one is more "taproom" both are pleasant. It was a little chilly inside but it was not overly noisy. I sat at a high top and the high stools have backs but aren't super comfy. It's not a deal breaker but I did take away one star for the cool and hard aspects. Overall Rusty Bucket is an enjoyable place. Will have to return and try dinner.

The burgers were honestly really bland, the saving grace of the wrecker was the cream cheese I assume. You could just tell the meat which should be the main star isn't seasoned super well. Extra sauce was apparently like a dollar or something, for a tiny container, fry sauce wasn't even good and wasn't mixed well, super ketchupy. Service was alright, my complaint is really just the bland food. Overall would not return, it's out of the way anyway but also the food just wasn't anything serious at all.

I ordered the special of the day, a Chipotle Burger. Cooked perfectly with 1/3 lb local beef patty, bacon, chipotle sauce, lettuce, red onion and accompanied by some very good fries. My wife had the grilled cheese and it was awesome as well. Her only complaint was it had too much bacon. Yes, you heard that right, too much bacon. I also have been trying NA beers and the only brand I have found I like is Deschutes out of Bend. They had a Golden that I hadn't heard of and it was, in true Deschutes fashion, very good. Our server was Becky and she was amazing. She greets the regulars by name, was very helpful and informative, but not too chatty. If we were in this area again, we would definitely go back. So when we left on Monday morning, we of course had to stop to try them out. Excellent burger...I had the 2 patties, but because I was driving I opted for no tomato due to messiness. The fries and the fry sauce were so good. And the milk shake, wow. Hand scooped and so flavorful. My wife had the fire fries and she loved them. They were too spicy hot for me, but she enjoyed them with ketchup. The service was incredible. She was so friendly and explained the menu excellently. We will definitely be back.
