Man, I don't even know where to start me and my girlfriend were just getting out of the house for the night in a good mood and we stopped at Dairy Queen the dude that took our order kept rushing us even though we're only getting three things and then all three of the girls working tonight, stared us down like we were in some romcom this is genuinely ruined our night, and we sat by the lake and ate our ice cream with no music. There is always a line at this store, which I stop at occasionally on my way home from Loveland to Fort Collins. The parking lot is filled in the summertime, and there are places to sit outside enjoying your ice-cream treats surrounded by local sculptor's artworks. In the winter, it is busy, too, but people stay in their cars. Workers are friendly and helpful and quick. Everything I could want. The lights go out or are not timed correctly sometimes. [On hte menu signs, through the drive through, or on the corner] Or, as you are going from the "Pay window" to the "Pick Up window," you find out that all cones all sizes are $2 on Wednesdays, and wish you'd seen the sign before you ordered. We normally love DQ, but today was a really bad experience and we won't be returning. My strawberry chocolate blizzard was more vanilla (white) with barely any strawberries. (Pink). The kids wouldn't eat their cotton candy blizzard at all stating it was disgusting. Since we were enjoying an afternoon at Dwayne Webster, which is close by, I tried to return the cotton candy ones. They said it looked fine, (over an hour and melted ), and they could replace it just because of personal preference. How do they know by looking at it that it tastes the way it should? Needless to say, I didn't waste my money ordering another one and the kids left disappointed. (I wouldn't expect them to replace the strawberry blizzard I ate, but I did bring back the uneaten cotton candy one. ). I literally just got my 10th punch for a free blizzard too. read more

Great DQ. I go there regularly, but I was in the Brighton DQ the other day and they give free pup cups for dogs. You have to buy a dog treat in Loveland and Brighton offered a free small cup of ice cream without needing to even ask. Been quite disappointed the last several times I've visited- last night we ordered Reese's cup with extra Reese's and a Ultimate royal brownie. Instead of the Reese's we got Kit Kat and in the brownie blizzard I got no fudge after asking for extra because of the last few times of there not being any in the blizzard. After buying a cone or other product from this Dairy Cream for a matter of many years, something cold on hot day, a special treat after dinner. Today, was a big disappointment from the #1 Dairy Cream store in the country. We stopped in for a free blizzard with a complimentary free blizzard card. nothing wrong with at order. however, we ordered a Peanut Buster Parfait without peanuts, but found that the cup was over filled with the ice cream, but it took less than a minute to see that the fudge was barely there at all. the inside of the cup was scantily covered in fudge, close to a couple of tsps. full. In the past there was balanced amount of fudge to the parfait to the abundant amount of ice cream. A scant amount is shameful especially for the supposed #1store in the country . in attempts to give feedback to the store, the website does not allow you to send feedback, like their system is not running properly either. it doesn't get sent. Huge ripoff for an expensive dessert. And sicken sweet service, from the ' No worries' lady at the window doesn't cut it either, Peanut Buster Parfait is not cheap, but who wants to pay those prices for their ice cream, its not often very cold, but melting, and the flavor cannot be as good as ice cream from a grocery store, at all. So if you read this, Dairy Queen representative or manger, or other, a full refund would fix it to some degree, but you might have issues with that, too, right ? read more

I haven't been here in a while. The service used to be amazing, but this last time I had ordered 4 blizzards for my family, and 2 of them were wrong when I got home. The cashier kindly asked if I had the order with a large health blizzards and if so if I could pull to the side and wait a minute, so I did. When I got home the large blizzard wasn't even heath. I understand it's a busy place, but after specifically asking about that blizzard there shouldn't have been a problem making it correctly. Needless to say I wasn't impressed. read more

The drive thru is peculiarly set up, so there's always a long line, but when you order they make your ice cream then let it sit on the counter for the 10-15 minutes it to get to the pick up window. Just asked for a non soupy blizzard and boy were those kids rude. I've also tried to bypass the drive thru line and go inside and the workers are slow as molasses. And still rude. read more

This Dairy Queen is a lot different than others I have experienced in Colorado. It is very attractive, lots of parking and a very impressive selection of large bronze sculptures. Some of the sculptures are permanent installations, but many are for sale and will leave. The restrooms are clean and there are several different seating areas on the property. We typically just get dip-tops so I don't know about their other offerings. It is a little interesting getting into the facility if you are arriving from the East because of the one way streets used here, but logic will get you where you need to go. Everyone here has always been super friendly and they are always working hard to ensure your experience is perfect and quick. All the extra touches add to the experience like the kiddos play area with a motorized pony, shade tent with lots of outdoor seating, incredible lighted statues, very clean facilities, and little water cups with ice water. This Dariy Queen goes above and beyond in every single way including giving back to their local community!! The service lady was horrible. She was rude, rolled her eyes at us, and made us feel unwelcome. She was sarcastic towards us for wanting separate orders in the drive thru, when we were the only customers at the time. She repeatedly asked if I wanted my ice cream in a cup, I thought we were on the same page, but when I received my ice cream it was in a cone. With 25 people on staff that I could see in the window, I am appalled that they couldn't put it in a cup, a simple request. Don't think I will be coming back here, as I've had such a horrible experience with rude workers and incompetent service. read more

This place is run by high schoolers. Most of the time this isn't a problem, but tonight the service was awful. I asked for a heath blizzard, and when I got home and took a bite, there was peanut butter in it. (Someone else tried it too and agreed that there was definitely pb in it.) Well I'm intolerant to pb and so I had to go back and get a new one. So I waited, got one, and once again it had a pb flavor in it. I said I just wanted a refund at this point, and this whole group of high schoolers come up, and one aggressively says that it is "impossible" for there to be pb in it. Which is definitely not true because their equipment touches peanut products and clearly was not properly sanitized. Then the (adult) manager showed up, and refunded me. So I would not recommend coming here if you have any allergies/sensitivities. Because the crew of high schoolers have no idea how to properly handle a situation and not be a jerk about it. read more

I'm giving this DQ location a below average rating based solely on their inconvenient location. My wife and I swung by to pick up an ice cream cake. We live on the east side of town so we were coming from that direction. Since Eisenhower is the main avenue through Loveland, you can't turn left except at traffic signals, especially during rush hour. There was no left turn lane because this store is on the corner of a one~way street going the other way. We had to drive around the entire block to get to this DQ. Very inconvenient especially if you're pressed for time. Otherwise it seems to be a typical DQ. However, they do have a lot more outdoor seating/parking than I was expecting since they are so close to downtown. They even have a gravel overflow parking area in the next lot. read more

There are two places in Loveland that we love to get ice cream and this is one of them. I usually get a blizzard with cookie dough. One of the things I love about this Dairy Queen is that they are efficient, friendly and accurate. In all the times that I've been inside and in the drive through the service has been consistent... which is something that's important to me, for whatever reason. I guess I like to know what to expect. They updated the flow pattern for the drive through a few years ago and it works way better! Went to this location sat afternoon was expecting a nice blizzard. Didn't taste it till I was on the road and was appalled to find the ice cream was rancid! They must have used spoiled milk to make it! I have over ten nieces and nephews and know that smell/taste well. I will never go to this location again, if they can't hire a supervisor who isn't a teen and can tell when milk is bad, then it's not worth my money. I stopped into this Dairy Queen on 9/21/ 2016. I went into the Dairy Queen as to not hold up the drive in customers. I stood, and stood , and stood, and not one employee offered to help Me. All I wanted was to order a Darth Vader cake for my 5 yr old grandsons birthday. After waiting with no one even acknowledging me I took my leave and went and ordered my cake from the donut haus,,. I went to Dairy Queen tonight and ordered 2 small Blizzards for my kids. I looked at my receipt and noticed that I was charged for the 2 blizzards plus $1.00 "Confetti Cake". So I went to talk to the girl who took my money and I asked her why there was an extra charge. She informed me that it's $.40 extra for mix ins. I told her that didn't make sense because I was charge $1.00 for the two. I was then approached by a very rude boy (All of the employees are kids) who explained that the extra mix ins are fifty cents and I was NOT overcharged. He said "Look! I don't want to have a problem." I said "There's no problem, I just want to know what I'm being charged for...so you're telling me that the FLAVORING is extra?" He said that when you get extra mix ins, it's $.50. I told him that I did not get extra mix ins, I just ordered two small confetti cake blizzards, and he said, they charge $.50 extra per blizzard for mix ins. So I said "Are you telling me that a "Blizzard" is just ice cream in a cup?" and he said "Yes" and the flavors are the "Extra Mix ins" Unbelievable. I have been going to DQ for years and have never been told this or noticed extra charges on my ticket. He was practically yelling at me as if I were in the wrong. Where on earth is "Customer Service"? Because it is certainly NOT at DQ Eisenhower in Loveland! Not to mention, when the kids were eating their Blizzard with "Extra" mix ins, basically it had a few cake pieces on the top inch of the cup and the rest below that was plain ice cream.
