He failed to mention the additional .45¢ for the medium fry and .45¢ for medium drink but when I asked for ranch in addition to the gravy it came with he told me about the additional .70¢ for that! I'm glad DQ still serves caramel shakes and tacos here but I enjoy all the food. I've never had an issue with my order here and the food has always been to my liking. The only food item I've purchased of lately that was lacking was the gravy in the chicken finger kid's meal. It was a bit watery with no flavor but I've only purchased it once so it may have been an off day. My family and I ate at this establishment on 10/09/2025. The food took about 30 minutes due to a staff shortage. That isn't my complaint. My complaint is that while consuming the french fries, at least one (I stopped eating right away) of the french fries had the distinct taste of human feces. I stopped eating right away and then my grandaughter found one and immediately vomited on the table and ran outside and continued vomiting. I only gave this place three stars because my hamburger patty was very thin and over cooked. It was like eating on a piece of leather. I had to literally pull my hamburger away from my mouth to take a bite. Everytime i go to this location there's a issue. Today i went with my fiancé to get 2 hot fudge sundays. There was a few cars ahead of us so when we got to the window and was asked to pull around i wasn't surprised, however a hot fudge sunday is something really quick to make so it's definitely something they could have handed us at the window. Pulling around and waiting for ice cream usually means it's gonna be melted when it gets to you. Regardless we pulled around and we see a lady walk out to bring us our ice creams except she goes to the car in front of us to try to give it to them which of course they the tell her they didn't order those. She started to walk back inside instead of checking with us (the next car) to which we ended up having to shout her down to get her attention. She walks all the way back to our car and tells us they wrote the wrong car description and was gonna take them back inside to check... So now she's walked back and forth multiple times with our sundays that are melted by this point. She finally comes back out and hands me them to which i tell her "how are we supposed to even take the tops off since they're melted now" she just apologized and walked back inside. We then pull into a parking spot because there's no point in driving home to eat these if they're already THIS melted. My boyfriend decided that this was unacceptable and was gonna go inside and ask them to be remade. When he went inside they lady at the counter was extremely rude and tried to blame them being melted on the fact that they were "hot fudge" and that's what melted them... not the multiple trips running around in the texas humidity. Many years since I've been to a DQ. Earlier today my wife visited the restaurant at 7922 Culebra. There are two words to describe this place: repugnant and disgusting. Most tables were not clean, with crumps and ketchup in some of them. There was garbage all over the floor. Two flies on the window sills next to our table. Plus a fly flying around the table that wouldn't leave us alone. We had to keep covering the food to prevent the flu to infect the food. An employee threw some keys to the one taking our order. Very disrespectful. It startled a few of us when the keys hit the counter. In summary, I'll never spend a penny on a DQ again. read more

Terrible service. Growing up in Aurora IL going to DQ was tradition for blizzards. Seeing one here was exciting and wanted to introduce the blizzard to my girl friend. Ordered simply 2 blizzards in the drive thru. After waiting 27 minutes and seeing 6 cars behind us get their food AND blizzards I asked when ours will be ready. Got the "let me check" then they bring the food and blizzards to the car behind us. I got out and went in to see what's up and they finally gave us the 2 blizzards. The employee said "sorry were backed up" if that's the case how did the 6 cars behind us get their cooked food and blizzards? Was the cheese cake still cooking? Felt rushed while ordering my food. The individual at the window asked me what I wanted and before I could even finish explaining what I was ordering for that particular combo meal, she cut me off and said "Anything else." Awful location wise and seems run down. It's a very short space to where you order so it's easy to end up waiting in the street because only one car can fit behind. Then the turn around to get to the other side to wait for your ice cream is also awful, especially if you don't have a small car to make that tight turn. The visit at DQ at the location in Kirby, TX was really bad. Horrible employees. The drive thru was crazy let alone the guests inside. Also I sat in my car at the drive thru window for about a good 5 mins or more and no one would open the window so I could pay and when she finally opened it I told her I have a coupon for the free kids treat and she rolled her eyes and she snatched the coupon out of my hand and slammed the window and went to the grill area to speak to the manager and was talking to the Mgr for about 1 min or so then came back and then I told her I said a digital coupon on my phone for my rewards the $5 off and she just said, "Oh lord!" And then rolled her eyes again and slammed the window and just walked away again and went back to the grill area. Then after about 2-3 mins one of the girls that was in the grill but not the mgr. came to the window and I asked her, "Are you the manager?" She said no, I told her well I need to speak to the manager because the previous girl gave me attitude for no reason and was being really rude. She said, "okay hold on give me a sec." She ends up going to the grill area again and a guy comes. Me thinking he's the manager I tell him the situation and he just dismisses what I'm saying and just wants to cash me out like in that attitude of just like yeah whatever and let me cash you out so you can leave type of attitude. Come to find out it's not even the manager but the grill guy. I was really upset and to top it off they forgot to give me another ice cream cone that I had ordered but thank god I checked and told the grill guy and he gave it to me right before I left. Like, I really don't ever want to come back to this location if those employees are going to be acting like that. The manager was there the whole time and never wanted to show her face. Who knows if she was even doing anything in the grill or just standing there. I mean as a manager you need to speak to the guest if they ask for them, I mean just do your job. What can I say it's a neighborhood Dairy Queen or the DQ as we called it. It's just like every other Dairy Queen. Burgers, Fried Foods, what we Texans believe to be the best soft serve. Teenagers and college students in the kitchen and running the counter. Mistakes will be made, their uniforms may be dirty. All that said it is MY neighborhood Dairy Queen. I used to go to the school just down the street, and I remember meeting friends there after school, my first "Date" in Jr. High was there. So there are a lot of memories here, and it's always packed with folks from the block, so it's a good place to go and catch up with my former classmates and enjoy a Malt. I just realized that every time my friends from school want to meet up, we always meet at the DQ before hitting up a local watering hole. I guess somethings never change. read more
