Establishment was very clean and the service was great--no issues there. I ordered the steak fingers, and they came out fresh and hot. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is because they said they stopped serving chili months ago, even though it's still on the menu. That was disappointing since I always get chili cheese fries when I visit Dairy Queen. Other than that, no complaints! read more

Absolutely terrible I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and when I got my food there was no bacon and no cheese this was the last chance for them and they blew it I do not recommend coming to this location read more

Service was terrible. The management did not care that my burger was under cooked and lettuce was soggy and runny. Also had an issue with my blizzard not having enough Oreos but nothing was done. Do yourself a favor and do not patronize the DQ on Peek Rd and the Westpark Tollroad. read more

Nice staff, fast service. The food is fresh. First time at this location and the service is faster.

Placed an online order and picked up in the drive through after 10pm when they close at 11. We had a long day and it was close to our hotel. Food was good and service was great. The gentleman running the drive through window was very polite, smiled, and made sure there were napkins and ketchup in the bag. read more

Just skip it. Customer service is not there and it's sketchy at best.food is not worth the money

It was fine, but there was like a little leak because the air AC was kind a little falling but it's fine. I still like it and the food was yummy and the service was clean. It's just the floor got a little wet. read more

75 cents cones are a SCAM. Asked for two small cones taking advantage of 75 cent anniversary offer and I was charge $2.39 each and when asked about the offer they said we had to mention it when ordering or it does not apply. Really!!!!!! No refunds were offered after I brought it up so basically its a scam to get people to come in. They have lost a long time customer because of a couple of dollar. No wonder there are less and less people at this place. read more

Always welcoming workers and hot delicious food. Correct order every time. Not to mention their great sundaes and shakes.

do yourself a favor and don't come here from the Service to the food for this to location that open literally less than a year ago I don't know who's running it there can't ever be a district manager or owner there or they would see the kind of service here you never get what you ordered, the employees are rude always playing they take no pride in their appearance in their service. Nothing where is the management staff and the food mediocre giving it a good review it's just cold and old. This is just crazy. I see why Dairy Queen went out of business the first time. read more

Came after hurricane beryl, screen said 12.21 for food I get to the window total was 14.04 I asked why and the Muslim employees who are family owned with the Exxon next to this place are very rude and unprofessional and expressed I would find out why once I get my receipt, these people are known in my neighborhood to be rude and condescending, calling the police on people and argumentative if you don't shut up and take the pickle juice they call SERVICE read more

Theft. They have a sign and it said one price and charge you a buck more at the register. I said hold up its a buck more than your sign says. Manager comes over will not honor posted price. I wonder how many people have been stolen from at this location. I asked for a number to chat with an adult that understands theft and false advertising he said franchise owned. Called a number I could find they took note and will pass back to them. They already do not care. read more

Dairy Queen - Fast Food Near Me - Richmond, Texas

The blizzards here are terrible. They are always partially melted and soupy. The part that has not completely melted is softer than soft serve. You could drink the entire thing through a straw if you wanted to. I've been here numerous times as it's the closest one to my house. Each time I place an order I hope this will be the one time they get it right..... but it's always the same. I think part of the problem is that they make it when you order it and then it sits there while the other cars in front of you block the drive through window waiting for their order. Wouldn't it be better to have those cars pull forward like other fast food restaurants while you serve the other customers? Just a thought. Sadly I won't be back. read more

I go in to order the new A1 steakhouse burger that I just saw on a TV commercial. Girl at the drive thru says "we don't have that here." I show her the burger on their website and she repeats that they don't have it. Food is always old and cold here anyway, not sure why I went in the first place. read more

Ordered two blizzards, one was Choco Brownie extreme. First attempt was vanilla. Asked to add chocolate to it, employee attempted mixing without splash guard and it went everywhere. Third attempt, watched employee scrape what looked to be less than a teaspoon of chocolate from dipper and mixed . Came out as vanilla as first, when told it wasn't correct she just laughed. When tasted it was totally incorrect with the wrong add-ins. It is okay to say you have NO ingredients and please choose something else but to just mix what you feel like is NOT GOOD. Not when someone is paying for it read more

We love super close by so have visited quite often both drive-thru and dine-in and the tacos are always served warm and crispy so no complaints here. Feeding a family of five means we order a variety of menu items and everything to date is great from the chicken fingers kids meals to the upside down blizzards, these people know how to make it right so we thank you DQ for making summertime that much sweeter! read more

As others have already echoed the service is absolutely horrendous at this location. The young high school kid working the Sunday afternoon shift was very rude and did not even acknowledge us as we came up to the drive though. On top of that the food was beyond pathetic. This is most pathetic customer service I have come across. I give these people a boat load of business and they locked the door on me at 9:48pm when it actually closes at 10pm. I have no interest in sitting in there but would like to order my ice cream and take it with me. I would go into the drive thru but unfortunately I can't fit through that in a fire engine. I have this issue with them atleast 3 to 4 times a month and those employees can visibly see a 26 ton engine in there peripheral. Before when there was a better manager we would never have this issue and Brenda would always accommodate for us as she knows we won't stay inside but just to order. I hope this place steps up their customer service!!! read more

Why hello there. I have come back on my yelp account to address a situation I have had. More like a monstrosity. I have gone to my local Dairy Queen more times than I can count but the last to times I have gone haven't been the best. I went with my two children and have gotten a blizzard. They were quite delicious. BUT they WERE NOT FLIPPED! I was upset because my blizzards have always been flipped sense the first time I went when I was a little lad. I told my kids "every time this lady has given us our blizzards she has not flipped them, so imagine how many unflipped blizzards she has in her wake." I hope this problem will be changed. (No hate against Dairy Queen, I just want my blizzards flipped) read more

Same as everyone is in the South, I've been to multiple DQ's. So my son wanted some today so I took him. Unfortunately we had to wait 10 minutes to order and it was 2pm in the afternoon! I wish I could say they were crowded but they weren't. If not for one female employee running the drive thru I believe I would still be waiting. She saw that I had been there a while and pushed to get us taken care of. We got Steakfingers as usual and they were good. The fries were limp and Texas toast more like Texas butter bread. Then we decide to have chocolate malts and this time we got to order more quickly but took 10 minutes to get them and they were ok. So it's not the best DQ and could use some improvement but sub par, just hope that drive thru young lady is there so you can order, or you'll be hungry, for true! read more

A few weeks ago, I went into the Richmond location to order a Birthday cake for my daughter to be picked up on April 26th, 2019. I had ordered cakes from this location 3 times before with no complaints- except for the fact that the slab cakes are becoming thinner and thinner each time it seems. This last order though was a hassle though. The cake book was gone, and the cake order forms were no longer either (I asked if they were out, and they told me they don't have them anymore). I asked if I could order a cake, and I was initially told to go choose one from the freezer- I reiterated that I wanted to order a custom cake for a later date- not choose one from the general freezer. I then said I wanted to order a slab (largest cake available) cake, and she then said she wasn't even sure they made those and they only did them in vanilla. I told them I had ordered 3 other slab cakes before- all with the standard DQ vanilla fudge/cookie chocolate combo. She seemed confused by this, and said she wasn't even sure they could do it and she would need to have her manager call me the next day to tell me if they could do it or not (I had driven 20 min specifically to order this cake because there isn't an online option to do this location) so i was slightly annoyed. They did call me the next day and informed me that they could do the cake, in the size and flavor I needed. However, because there were no cake forms, I had to try to explain what I wanted design-wise over the phone. When I went to pick up the cake, I told them I was there to pick up a cake I ordered, and several times she kept telling me to look in the general freezer as it should be in there... I said- 1. I can see it's not in there because I ordered a large slab cake, and 2. Why would a custom cake I ordered be placed in the general freezer where anyone could have come in before me and purchased it? So she proceeds to double check the general freezer and then goes and starts asking around where the cake would be. I was getting nervous that I had come all the way there again, only to find out there was no cake...but luckily, they found it in a back freezer. But it did not have the writing I asked for on it- so had they actually put it in the general freezer- someone could have bought it before pick up. I asked if they could write on it and informed me they could not! Ok- not a big deal, but I was starting to lose my confidence in ever ordering from here again. To top off the whole thing- every time I've gotten a cake from there- they have progressively become thinner and thinner. This cake had barely a sliver of chocolate ice cream on it, and then mostly- but not much still- vanilla. I feel like if I'm going to pay over $50 for an ice cream cake, it would be up to Dairy Queen standards (equal levels chocolate and vanilla like it has been always!) I recommend that they need to better train their staff when dealing with cake orders, bring back the proper order forms and the design book. read more

Access to blizzard's closer to home is great! All of our ice creams tasted good. I'm not sure what all the low reviews are about, but we will definitely be back! Would have given 5 stars but they made a mistake on one of the blizzard sizes, but then immediately corrected the mistake. read more

I've gotten drive-thru 5-6 times and had maybe one good experience where the food was at least decent. Every other time the food has been TERRIBLE. We have gone to this Dairy Queen a number of times and the food is always delicious. We usually eat in but have ordered to take home a couple of times. I would give it 5 stars but the service is usually a crap shoot and that depends upon who is working at the time. Last night was terrible as went through the drive thru & ordered 2 jr. burgers, both with different condiments & a malt. Malt was out quickly but we were asked to park in the lot and the food was never brought out. I finally went in to ask and it appeared to be just sitting there as french fries were not warm. read more
