This is our go-to restaurant in the area. This place has nailed the customer service experience. If you like the quality, cleanliness and service from Chic-fil-a then this place you will enjoy as well. A rare gem for a small town. They have raised the bar for the surrounding restaurants. The food is ok but I've had better. Management is terrible. I'm giving a warning to anyone who wants to work here. They treated multiple of my loved ones with little respect and would talk about meetings with employees to other people. It's a very toxic work environment. read more

I don't know who doesn't like Dairy Queen. We stopped in to use the bathroom, but stayed for the ice cream. The weather was not cooperating as it was raining cats and dogs, but it gave us a chance to just hang out, use the bathroom, get a blizzard and talk. 26 years ago, a church youth group had come to this Dairy Queen minutes before a tragic accident where 5 lives were lost. This day, we were retracing the route that some of us had taken that day and this place will always be part of a difficult memory but I hope from the healing, it won't stay a bad memory. Dairy Queen was our first stop getting into Mineola and I'm glad that some good memories of this city are being formed. The blizzard was great, the dipped ice cream was good, the seats were clean, the staff took care of us and were polite. The one thing that was a little off is the hall to the bathroom. In Quitman, they are constantly short staffed for whatever reason, but because of it, their "fast-food" can no longer claim that. A twenty-three minute wait with only four cars in the drive through. Jeez- pay your people more to employ what you need to run a business, and for heaven's sake, fix the bulbs in your outside menu. It's illegible at night! Get it together Quitman DQ! read more

Restaruant and restrooms were clean. Burger and Dude sandwiches were made as ordered. The fries were only Luke warm and the dude was not as done as it usually is, the batter was a bit sticky instead of crispy. I was disappointed since this is not typical of this dairy queen read more

So sick of people who can not do their job efficiently. Ordered Hungerbuster with mustard and tomatoes only. I received Mayo. I already kicked Whataburger to the curb because they are unable to to their job efficiently, Dairy Queen just achieved the same rating. Bad first. Ordered and paid for bacon on my triple cheeseburger, no bacon. Ordered jalapeños, no jalapeños. Ordered extra onions, well the cook put 2 sliced rings and put zero diced onions on my burger. The receipt said extra sliced onions which I did not order. I just wanted extra onions. I would not say this is the cashiers fault. Anyways, in the grand scheme of things, the cooks are not reading the orders. This is a place to relay this info. Check your order. Now the good things. Drive Thru is a joke!! Went thru and ordered a Hunger buster and a dude and was asked to pull around. Had to wait 20 minutes to get our food. It wasn't that busy, so we thought it would be fairly quick. If you are in a hurry, you might want to go inside or find another place. read more

one of the better Dairy Queens in Texas. Very clean, service is a little slow but that is normally because they are busy. They are always friendly and the burgers are really good. I think they are just as good as the East Texas Burger place. read more

You have got to be kidding me. I could not believe this restaurant had this high of a rating. My wife and I stopped in around 2 pm for a late lunch. It wasn't crowded and we ordered. It took forever to get our food and when it came it was totally wrong. I showed the waitress my receipt and had to wait again to get my food. I ordered the nachos they show on there menu and received a few chips with cheese covering it. The picture shows all types of fixings. My wife told me to go complain, I decided to review here instead. Sonic is across the street, I suggest you dine there. What were you thinking??? read more

we live closer to the emory dq but drive out to mineola because we like this one better. super friendly staff, mostly highschool kids. we love visiting the older woman who works the front register. best patty melt in town. you might have a wait but its always good. very clean. we're glad they got internet. the decor is really outdated though. read more
