They have two different kinds of sauce, ("If it's good bbq, you don't need sauce") I don't care for either of them so it's a good thing their bbq is good. We mostly stick to the brisket and ribs but we've had the pulled pork as well and it's good. Haven't found a bad side yet and we've tried a lot of them. They always have peach and/or blackberry cobbler and it looks amazing but I do not like either of those. However on Sunday they have apple cobbler and it is just as amazing as it looked. They have the old fashioned long hallway walk to the ordering section that I haven't really seen since I was a kid. It brings back a lot of memories for me. They have a decent sized dining area, and a huge dance area in the back that has a full service bar and picnic tables set up for eating. We normally go into the music hall to eat and don't eat in the dining area. There's a big stage and they have live music and free dance lessons once a week.

The ambience of the place is really nice and with live music on Saturdays I'm sure the place is hopping. However, I honestly feel that the food is overrated. I imagine they are preferred more by locals simply because of the quality of food cooked on fewer days opened.

I had the Texas Cubano sandwich and it's outstanding. It was a blend of brisket and Cuban sandwich with bacon. It came with very good fried okra. Wife had the Junior TMX burger and it was HUGE ! She was even asked by the staff how she wanted it cooked - they followed it and it was cooked to perfection. It too, came with fried okra. We both had endless sweet tea. Adult beverages and a very nice bar are available for those who partake. Karaoke weekdays and local live Texas Music artists on the weekends for $5 cover charge. The restaurant is part of Pistol Annie's shop - Miranda Lambert's winery and shop. The shop closed at 6pm though so stop here and have lunch or dinner at the adjoining restaurant. Hiring manager is making new hire employees training be done at home and off the clock. He offers…read more38 -40 hours per week but then only schedules 3hours per day 2 or 3 days a week. He expects people to afford to drive to work for only 3 hours per shift. No place else operates this way. Training is done at work. He hires at least 15 people at a time because obviously most people cannot live with his obsurd requirements. Some one should look into this specific situation. Is it even legal?
