Service was quick as there were multiple employees working and I was satisfied. My only complaint would be that the woman behind the counter called the guy before me darling and then called me honey and sweetie. I am married and my wife calls me that. It was awkward to have a stranger calling me those names. They are not needed you can just interact with the guest without creating these awkward situations.

They were also moving people through as quickly as possible. This is a truck stop and not a fancy ice cream store. Genuinely we had such a fantastic meal. The ranch and pimento cheese were outstanding. Our waitress, Brittany (sp?), was seriously the greatest waitress we have ever had! The marketplace had such great gifts and goodies. We had a great time shopping here. The cutest farmhouse ambience. We also got a few little chocolates from the case, which were fantastic. Next time we look forward to trying the coffees, which looked and smelled amazing.

The hours are limited, but I suspect that after dark is not a great time to do business in such a location. For those not seeking dairy, the place does offer frozen lemonade. They are cash only. When I rolled up, I was gruffly told that you could only get one flavor with an order. I ordered a waffle cone and the cone itself was nothing special. The ice cream itself delivered the complex dairy flavor you would hope for, and my salted caramel was mouthwatering. It's a lot to pay for one flavor of ice cream in that amount, and if I came back I'd get a cup instead, but the quality was there.

This looks like a place that locals gather every weekend with their families and hang out maybe all afternoon. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was maybe in an episode of Andy Griffith. The store itself sold sandwiches and other lunch items. They sold CDs from what appeared to be local artists as well as guitar strings, canned goods and other things you'd expect in a general store. The sever was easy to work with, and the food came out fairly quickly! The burgers were tasty, and the French fries were good- the fries just needed a little salt. The menus on the TVs show videos of them making the burgers, ice cream, and sundaes which is super cool and even more interactive than a still photo! There are cute wall decals all around the restaurant that add to the oldies ambiance; retro diner servers, jukebox ice cream menus, old fashioned cars, and a few more! The ice cream counter seating is accented with checkerboard details, as is the ordering and serving station. The pricing was fair, too! Overall, we truly enjoyed our visit to Burger Haven!
