We drive thru Wytheville on our way from NJ to Georgia. We tried Ruby Tuesday and were very disappointed. Although they had lots of open tables they would not seat us. They said they only had 2 cooks. I asked if we could just sit and have a drink. That didn't happen. Stopped here on our way home from vacation and was not disappointed. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and took care of us throughout our time there. One thing I want to mention that I found very nice is that since there's currently a shortage on feminine products they were kind enough to supply them in the stalls of the women's bathroom. It's the first time I've seen this and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the sampler for lunch and enjoyed it. The plates all came out hot and very tasty. Ambiance: late 80's look and worn. Service: practically non existent. Our server said there was a manager there, but it looked like no one was managing. How can you run out of clean silverware? A) no one is paying attention B) you don't have enough and no one is paying attention C) management is not managing. At one point all the servers went back to wash. But one person was heard saying "they are not wrapped in the napkins". After waiting for 15 minutes for silverware with my salad in front of me, I just wanted to eat (and this was waiting for our server 15 minutes to get to us). And if you have several tables waiting for food, drink, etc, stop making small talk with the regulars. read more

This is surely the worst place that I have eaten in YEARS. I was a bit shocked honestly. I was extremely hungry and ordered the ribeye... It came out looking as if it had been boiled and tasted similar. Considering I know better than sending food back I choked it down with a lot of A1 steak sauce and I almost never use steak sauce. The sides were overcooked and just tossed on the plate like feeding prison inmates. My girl friend ordered the crab cakes and she could not even eat them. To their credit they took her meal off and I told them about mine but I explained I didn't expect it to be taken off. The salad bar was actually very good and I should have had that only. The waitress was very friendly and personable and likely the only reason this review isn't worse. Avoid this place at all cost. Unless you just want a salad. This place should be either closed or major changes should be made.I am convinced positive reviews must be from management or employees. read more

The server was nice and friendly. However I got take out ribeye and ribs combo, but instead of my Rib eye steak, I got pork chops. By then I was too far to drive back. The portions for the sides were very small. I ordered a side of grilled zucchini and I swear it was half a zucchini chopped into slices. If you are in town drive down the road to Greyson Restaurant. The food there and portions were much better and you support a local instead of a big chain. Live and learn, poor experience overall. read more

Went in for a meal and overheard the bartender saying that she needed money for a dress. I didn't pay much attention to that until she didn't give me my proper change. I handed her a $50 bill and she tried to rip me off by shorting me 20.00. Food was weak at best and cold when I got it. I went back in and got my money back. I would definitely watch the bartender here. Very sketchy behavior. Both the bartenders and the manager were playing with the cash register when I got there. Both complaining of money missing. Not sure how the food was, the waitress that was in charge of the bar area, came out of the kitchen ( we were sitting in the corner booth) announced to us, that she was covering the bar are and it was gonna be a wait because she was the only one covering the bar, our area and take out. Does not even deserve a one star. Service was horrible salad bar was disgusting the tea looked like beer. We just walked out. Ironic thing was another couple walked out as well at the same time. It would be different if the employees actually cared and we're trying to fix the salad bar or wait on us but we had been there for a long time before we ever even got asked what we wanted to drink. I was very disappointed. Husband and I both ordered rib eye and I added the grilled shrimp and we ordered it medium. The steaks were the toughest rib eyes I have ever had (think they were sirloin) and my husbands was raw and mine was not much better. He had to send his back then it came to done. I ended up not eating a large part of mine cause it was all gristle. The shrimp were also over cooked. The salad bar lettuce was not as fresh as it should have been but all in all the bar was okay. The waitress was new but friendly and seemed like she was trying. This was one of the very few times we have been out to eat since Covid and I got to say it was very disappointing. Today was another disappointing and final visit to this location. We ordered the 2 for 22.00 lunch. We ordered cheese sticks as an appetizer, house salad and cheese burgers. The salad had an odd taste, I thought it was me but my friend said hers had an odd taste as well. We felt like it was either stale or came out of a plastic bag after sitting in it for a month. Then came the cheese sticks which were lukewarm and tasted like they were battered in salt. We both like salt but not something coated in it. On to the cheese burgers. While they seemed cooked well done as requested they had a unique taste of raw meat. Again I thought it was me but my friend said hers was just as bad. We thought that the meat was out dated or just bad. When I told the waitress she was nice but I don't think she understood how bad it was. Though I didn't ask to speak to the manager, the waitress should have asked them to talk with us. This is the third time we have had sub par food at this location. read more

Not the cleanest! They Did not give us silverware when we sat down. when there is a bar of any kind you should leave silverware on table when seated! When we ask for silverware they couldn't find any clean silverware anywhere for at least seemed like weeks when you have a plate of salad in front of you. The crew that was working were very chatty with each other!! The manager was to busy filling in for them and not being the manager! We were waited on 1 time! Such a poor experience. Asked for Burger, no onion-Yup had onion. Ordered a loaded bake potato-served french fries Small item, asked for lemon with my water, no lemon (no biggie). Just because, I requested the one dollar for the "loaded" part of the baked potato to be removed. A manager was required to delete the dollar. I usually don't complain but my experience here was awful. We got our appetizer before our drinks, the waitress kept disappearing, she would say that she's going to refill our drinks and then disappear for upwards of ten minutes and then serve the tables next to us then refill our drinks, my wife asked for A-1 sauce and was given an empty bottle, when we were done the table next to us asked for A-1 so the waitress came to our table and said I'm taking this, my wife replied that it was empty when she got it, we waited about 20 minutes to get our bill after we were done, all in all it took about an hour and a half to complete our dinner. I received this comment below so I sent 3 emails per their instructions and it's been days and haven't heard anything. Update, I sent the email to the address they provided below and it's been a week with no response so maybe they just post this to make themselves look redeemed with no actual follow through?? read more
