Both were excellent and came with fries that were hot and crispy. The beer selection is fairly good and I went with a 007XX from Carton Brewing (just up the road). The place is basically a road house (Nic's Hometown Tavern) with very little ambiance, but was welcoming. Hey Burger seems to be an additional tag. Their table setup is quite interesting - it's like a doctor's office where you remove the disposable paper from the bed after each patient, but in this case, from a table after each customer that dines. We did it ourselves and it was easy. We found seating for 4 pretty quickly, but it may be tricky for groups of 5 or more to find seats together. Cutesy artwork can be found on the walls along with a frame TV that had the Tiny Desk concerts playing. Prices were a little higher than usual, but it is New Hope so that's to be expected. The location is a little further than we would normally travel, but it was worth it. I loved all the farm to table foods they have. They even nicely promote all the partners they use right on the wall of the restaurant, so you know where all your food comes from. Everyone loved their meals! It came with a side and I picked baked sweet potato wedges that were really good and so memorable that a week later I am still thinking about them. I drove for 10 minutes and once I got to eat my food it was still piping hot and super fresh. I would def poke those vent holes open if you're going to eat it any later than that. The chicken though!!! It was actually seasoned, there was actual flavor. I do not understand how so many hot chicken places will drown their chicken in hot oils, seasoning powders and so on and they're still bland! The sandwich also has a reeeeally good bun and the sauce they put on it was perfect. There's many components to a good hot chicken sandwich and HDHC does it right!
