I went to the Dairy Queen in Wellsburg WV on 8-4-2025. It is unsanitary,the staff especially the general manager are rude disrespectful & dismissive. Do not go there or take your children. I have not been to this Dairy Queen in about a year because of the poor reviews. My mom and I decided to drive through and get a small sundae. I think someone forgot to give me a full sundae. They have been out of pecans for a month it seems... they always turn off lights in drive through at night. I went there and waited for like 10 min pulled up to drive through and 3 ladies had headsets on ... not one answered.... Went around to go in and they answered some guy that just pulled up. Then she quickly makes the blizzards and we said can we she said oh they're over there are over there then walked away. this was me giving them a second shot. About a month ago, me and my son and my daughter walk into order and the guy follows behind us and said ugghhh ... I was just about to lock the door. And I said why are you closed? He goes no we just closed the dining room early. It was like 830. I wish we had another Dairy Queen in place of this one closer. The staff are never friendly. read more

If you're looking for FAST food, don't come here. They will have you waiting at the window for 20 mins (going on 25 as I type this) for a 4pc chicken tender meal. Good thing I didn't get ice cream or it wouldn't have made it home without melting all over the car. There's 5 people i can see working inside with no one eating in the dining room ... don't go here if you're in a rush. You never wait less than 10 minutes in line, no matter how many cars there are. They haven't had chocolate ice cream in over TWO months. Have items on their menu that they "won't have until next month" If you go inside this place, YIKES. The employees are wearing street clothes & cowboy boots. Bathrooms are disgusting. Took like 30 min to get 2 burgers and 3 chicken tenders took more than an hour and still did not get any ice cream. The worker there did not know how to get a a Reece's peecies blizzard and a sundae. The indoors area was very clean. read more

This dairy queen is actually pitiful. The last time I tried going there, I got there with more than enough time until they closed and pulled up to the drive thru, when the worker asked me to wait a second, a second which took over 20 minutes and all the way until they closed. This left us with nothing left to do but to leave, sad and without the food we drove down for. The kids that work there need to actually learn to do the job they signed up for. read more

I wish I could give no stars. this place is a disgrace, it's filthy and it's like a zoo, there are no rules for anyone working there. Absolutely insane it's still open! All the workers are out of control except maybe 2 of them. We ordered two small chocolate shakes and a mint chip shake. Waited at least 30 minutes in the drive through as a large truck attempted to permanently blind us from behind. When we finally arrived at the window, the worker opened the door and stared blankly without saying a word. Extremely strange. After waiting another 5 minutes for our order, two vanilla shakes and a Frankenstein amalgamation (which was supposed to be the mint chip shake) were handed to us. I then attempted to get the worker's attention in order to correct the order, which took another 5-10 minutes. After another lifeless stare, we finally got the right order... but without straws this time! We then went through the same process again with the dead stare worker, and finally were able to leave. This was an experience I would not like to ever have again. read more

This location is pathetic. They can't get an order right. The food is always cold. I've lived in Wellsburg for 36 years and been here several times and always think "maybe they'll get something right this time", however I've never been satisfied by this restaurant, and I'm not a hard guy to please either. Just make the food as I ordered it and don't give me half frozen onion rings. Tonight 11/12/21 I ordered a cheeseburger with no mustard for my wife, guess what, the only thing on it was mustard. So much so that the bun was saturated with it. Couldn't even hold the burger because it was as if they put the mustard on the outside of the bun. The blizzards I ordered for my kids were more liquid than solid. There's no way they were serving these ones upside down. PATHETIC. I might as well have just set my $38 on fire and threw it out of the window! Sad. Unsatisfied. Underwhelmed. Overpriced. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my enemies. Wow can a DQ be this bad? Employees cant manage simple orders like mustard ketchup pickle which is the basic sandwich toppings for them. Yet you get lettuce tomatoe. Even better the order was a bacon double cheeseburger with mustard ketchup and pickles. Oh no bacon either but was charged for it. Its a good thing I got it to go so I could find out when I arrived home. This place used to be on point but the last 8 months have been terrible and enough is enough. Its fast food yeah great but its inaccurate and there is no direction for the employees that work there. Wheres management to supervise!?!?!? Wont be back and i live in this town. Oh and the quality of food is below mcdonalds standards now. The chicken has this rubbery look taste and texture. read more

I love Dairy Queen I think their burgers are better than Burger King or McDonald's I've always got good service when I go there and I know I'm going to enjoy my food. Their Blizzards are the best the Cotton Candy is my favorite I'm always happy when they put it back on the menu. The only thing is that it can take awhile sometimes to get your order bit that's usually cause they're making your a fresh burger and fries or chicken strips. I love the flame thrower and the chili cheese dogs and love that they have the deep fried mushrooms I've always loved ordering those cause not many places has those on their menu. All in all you get great food when you order. read more

Lousy and incompetent service! Food quality and menu is standard for DQ but service and staff (including management) gives the chain a very bad "black eye". Well worth the effort to avoid because the chain has many, many OTHER locations. Sweet treats but staff issues leaves a bad taste in your mouth!! Avoid this location at all costs!! read more
