Outside of getting the wrong food, the manager decided the appropriate time to scold a teenage worker on his footwear was while he was taking my husband's order. Maybe around 3.75 ish, rounding up to 4 stars. This is the local DQ that we come to when we come into town for our annual visit. Definitely a quaint local DQ with high school aged kids who work there. Seems like their hours vary depending on who's available to work. No complaints about the food or employees. Came across this Dairy Queen on a road trip, customer service is terrible, when they gave me my blizzard they didn't do the upside down test and the ice cream was practically melted when they handed me the cup, cashier at this time was making fun of customers inside of the restaurant who were sitting down eating and doing nothing of the employees concerns. This isn't my first Dairy Queen I've been to but it's probably the worst in quality customer service. I felt really uncomfortable. I have no issue with young adults working in places since I too am a young adult but there needs to be a manager on site for this set of crew working this particular shift because they just don't care and seemed to just want to get things done quick without effort or care and want everyone to leave the facility. I give them a two stars instead of one because at least it was a clean location and the bathrooms were clean since I needed to make a pit stop as well. Maybe we just came at a time that didn't have the best crew working, but won't be making a stop at this Dairy Queen anymore. read more

This Dairy Queen is conveniently located just off of I-70. We stopped here for lunch while traveling from Colorado to Ohio. The staff was very nice - pleasant and friendly and the service was good. We both ordered hot food from the Grill and Chill menu and we were both pleased with the quality and taste of the food. Our order came out fairly promptly after we ordered and the hot stuff was hot and the ice cream was cold. The restaurant was clean but a bit shop-worn. It doesn't seem to have seen any recent renovations. The restrooms were also clean. read more

We stopped here while passing through town. Milkshakes were good and the food was alright, about what you'd expect. We had a lot of fries and chicken strips, which the kids loved. I had the pretzels with cheese and the cheese cup looked like it had been melted before the cheese was poured into it. It didn't taste funny, but I found the scenario to be odd. First thing I couldn't help notice were the swasticas intricately carved into the decorative splatter paint walls by the restroom. Ordered 2 grilled chicken salads and a crispy chicken sandwich. Ended up with two crispy chicken salads and a grilled chicken sandwich. While I was enjoying my meal by the window, a sweet old lady was washing the windows. When she was dissatisfied with her window-drying job, I watched her dry a wet spot on the window with her boobs. That's some commitment to a good window cleaning job. Little small town gem. Super clean. And good food of course. Great service to boot! If you drive near here you'll see WaHeeney but nothing seems good there. The restaurant's there all seem dirty. I'm from Texas so I've been to my fair share of Dairy Queen's and this was by far my worst experience. The employees behind the counter were making a mess and completely out of control. When we were handed out Blizzards they were not flipped upside down and within the minute it to us to walk to the car they had almost completely melted. Out of all of my DQ experiences this is by far the worst. The employees seemed rude and acted as if we were a burden on them . The employees seemed rather annoyed that we were ordering food instead of just ice cream and rolled their eyes. Upon receiving our food we were met with rather disappointing Portion sizes compared to the other DQ's we've visited. They also forgot half of our order and we had to ask them twice for our ice cream. All of the employees had an attitude and we will not be going back. read more

This DQ is a little gem in the middle of no where. It has a full menu, even the $5 meals. They just celebrated 50 yrs of business in this population of 900 little town. Food was served hot and in a timely manner. Ice tea was fresh and tasted great. Building is a bit dated but it's very clean. Employees were very nice. read more
