My 92 y/o dad and I came to Kansas for the Ness City Old Settlers' parade from California. He eats biscuits n gravy for breakfast everywhere we go (if they have it) so he considers himself a connoisseur of a sort. The biscuits were fluffy and did have a crunch on the bottom, and the gravy was thhiiiccccc but he gave his breakfast 2 thumbs up. I had eggs, bacon, yummy hash browns, crispy on the outside soft on the inside, and wonderful sourdough bread with homemade strawberry jam. I had to take some with me, there was so much. And Andi said 'sorry' for too much bacon !!!!! lol If we are ever this way again we will be stopping for a meal. Andi was super friendly and I didn't have a problem with the service, she was the only person in the shop. The ambiance was basically a small-town eatery, nothing fancy, but there was nothing to look down at.

But for just $40 (minus drinks), I fed 8 people PLUS had an extra 6" sub for later! Our order: 2 footlong tuna 2 footlong cold cut combos 1 chicken ranch wrap I ordered through the app, walked in, and everything was already bagged up and waiting on the pickup shelf--that's the kind of convenience road trips need. Everything tasted fresh, the ingredients were solid, and I have zero complaints or regrets. Mark this spot, then make the stop!

We ordered using the DQ app which has some glitches, but the staff worked around it. Very friendly staff. Very friendly locals (including the lady that owns the place). Food was hot and fresh. Due to the popularity of the place and how busy they were, the food came out a little slow, but that's to be expected. The place just has that "middle America, home town feel" to it. Hope it stays that way when the new owners take over. Would stop by again if we're ever passing through Kansas again!

The atmosphere is laid back, and most people seemed to be locals coming for taco tuesday. The wait staff were friendly, and knew customers by name and welcomed us with the same friendly manner. I ordered the Turkey Bacon sandwich, and it was the best turkey sandwich I think I have ever had. No deli meat turkey here, this was a thick slab of carved turkey breast, excellent bacon, fresh lettuce and tomato, and then grilled. Wow. My husband ordered the Sancho off the taco menu, and raved. We are traveling cross-country in our RV, but may consider passing this way again just to revisit the experience. Very quick service, and nice attention when our meal was served. Highly recommend.

Would have loved to bring up the fact that this chicken wing was completely RAW.. put it out by the card just waiting for the bartender to notice us/the chicken wing and she never did so we just paid and left. Hoping we don't get sick. The rest of the wings were cooked we just so happened to bust into to this one last..
