Bobb and I went here for blizzards. To start off, the place is mad dirty. This place either needs to be torn down or renovated if they're going to still be in business considering it was dead inside with only a couple customers. I got the Oreo blizzard and Bobb got the Caramel Cannonball. He didn't like his because there were frozen caramel pieces. Since I kept it simple I enjoyed mine. I want to emphasize how dirty it was. The table we sat at was covered in salt and the other tables looked like they had residue on them. The employees didn't have an attitude that was welcoming to the customers but at least they did their job. Not planning on coming back, great blizzard though.

The double cheeseburger here is a pathetic example of a burger. It's the type of burger that might have started a food fight back in my high school days. Since there really wasn't a reason to eat it, flinging it across the room seemed more logical! Just like that cafeteria burger, I'm not even sure it was real beef, but on the positive side it did have a generous portion of cheese. Unlike the picture on the menu, my burger was devoid of any greenery. My wife ordered the veggie quesadilla and ate only about half. She said it was bland and the weird thing is she's not really picky. If she were picky, she'd probably never have married me!!! (LOL) The onion rings were good, but really the only reason to come here are for the DQ Blizzards. They're great, especially on a hot summer day. The staff is not very outgoing or welcoming and gives you the impression they really don't want to be there. The chairs were turned upside down on all the tables, leaving only the booths available for seating. Not sure when they close but it was around 8:45 pm when we arrived. If it weren't for a gift card we received at a Christmas party, we would probably have never come here. And it weren't for the fact we still have $13 left on the card, we probably wouldn't come back. THE VERDICT Stick to frozen treats DQ, hot food just doesn't suit you.

Very new and modern looking

A new queen Most of the Dairy Queen's I've visited have been small take out places that only have ice cream. This particular one is large, spacious and with plenty of indoor seating. It sells both the usual ice cream as well as the burger stuff. I only get the ice cream when at Dairy Queen and virtually all of the DQs I have been to have been pretty identical. The same kinds of Blizzards and other frozen treats all made the same way. You usually know exactly what you are getting a DQ. I do like the older and historic Dairy Queen's better but this one was clean and quick. We filled out bellies with Blizzards and then moved on. Exactly what you want in a DQ.

Small dipped cone: )

Hey what is up Dacula DQ?? The stars haven't aligned right for this location... I did enjoy my dipped cone. It was a perfect twisted sweet chocolatey covered swirl of vanilla soft serve. Thanks for getting it right. :)

Hair in blizzard.

Favorite spot in Dacula. They always make the blizzards well. Just wished they didn't have to flip them. Really bothers my mental.

I'm not about to spend/waste time chatting about this place. The ice cream is cold.

Which is huge for a 9 year old. My son got cookie dough, his favorite, and said "it was the best cookie dough I've ever had in my life." So much so that he went and gave the ladies at the counter a hug lol. I got chocolate trinity and bourbon butterscotch. The butterscotch is not a flavor I would normally try but it was so rich and creamy. I love that they have a lot of flavors (over 15), some dairy free options and lots of different options for cones (traditional cone, waffle cone, waffle cone dipped in chocolate/with sprinkles, gummy bear cones, maple waffle, chocolate waffle and waffle bowls!). The space itself is set up live a vintage ice cream parlor with tiled floor, booths, blue and pink decor and vintage black and white posters. Really cute! And to top it all off for a kids scoop and two double scoops with waffle cones, it was only $22. Amazing for today's prices! They also sell baked good, banana splits and milkshakes!

Service is fast , the place is very clean and with the 50s style atmosphere it's a great place to be on a Saturday night with your family celebrating birthdays, bar mitzvahs, anniversary's. My group and myself were really craving something sweet after lunch and ice cream was the choice…read more We found Dumont Creamery & Cafe and it looked very interesting and it was new (to us). We got it and it was very clean and modern. They have a space theme, but it seemed like that's what the initial idea was and it dropped off along the way. The setup is very similar to other cafes and their ice cream display was very nice. They have some interesting flavors like Hokey Pokey and we were able to get some samples which were all good. Myself and another opted for the 2 scoop cup and i got Hokey Pokey and the hazelnut chocolate (forgot the real name) and they were very good... but I was put off by one thing. Both of us got 2 different flavors and were charged a dollar more for it. That seems like a rip off and honestly left a bad taste. I thought it'd be a good option compared to Jeni's, but not with pricing like that. The scoops were also considerably smaller than Jeni's and Jeni's is a better deal and a better ice cream in my opinion. I'm not a fan of getting nickel and dimesd for something that shouldn't cost more. I'm sorry it took so much effort to scoop from another flavor. I won't do it again.
