The cheese curds were awful, too chewy and greasy. I have a once a month fast food treat and this was not it. Never again the milkshake was just ok. read more

Went thru the drive thru and they handled polite and fast. Thank you. Service was good as well. We were not inside so unable to answer the ambiance? read more

I totally had forgotten about my negative review. I heard a rumor that they were under new ownership and the difference is like night and day! I love the energy of the staff - most are young and all act like they care. Unlike with the old owner, they are never closed when they are supposed to be open. The new owner/management is greatly appreciated. The only thing that I would love, would be if they were able to get a machine for chocolate and twists. I manage to satisfy the fix with their delicious chocolate dip. It is superb! read more

The food was good but i am on vacation and usually the food is pretty cheap but this was 40 dollars for 3 things that usually would cost 20 dollars at home. read more

3 of us walked in to order ice cream. Stood there for a few minutes. None of the staff acknowledged us at the counter. One young lady was more interested in talking to someone in the booth than taking our order. We walked out never being acknowledged by one of the staff. First and last visit to that Dairy Queen. read more

Under new management and it was the nicest staff I've ever met in my entire life. They stayed open a couple minutes extra just to serve us sweetest people on earth delicious as always would definitely recommend read more

We ordered via mobile 25 minutes before closing and we waited in a long line and got to the front door just by 9pm to get them to shut door at us and refused to answer us when we knocked on the window to get our money back. Not a good customer service. read more

Brittney and her colleagues are pretty awesome here at DQ! This is the best root beer shake I've had in a long time and you went out of your way to help make it. Thanks for making my trip to South Carolina special! read more

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Root beer shake - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Bluffton, South Carolina

This place already has a 1 star rating, so I don't see this helping....but this is the worst quick serve restaurant I have ever been to. I mean they're always slow and rude, but today they ruined my daughters bday. Some lazy kid who isn't being managed by anyone and has no accountability forgot to order my daughters cake. So when my wife went to picK it up, they tried to scramble to do it correctly and of course, they screwed it up. Of course the 2 kids working there, who have no guidance or supervision didn't care at all. They just shrugged their shoulders and my wife cried because she just wanted the birthday to go well. Look, whoever runs the DQ in this area: you have no clue what you're doing. You are not serving this area well, you are not providing a valuable service. After 15 years in the restaurant industry, I can safely say you should close your locatIons. They can't be making much money at all, especially with the horrible service and leaving young kids to be run themselves with integrity, your stores probably run at a loss constantly. Do the community a favor and just close down. read more

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - It was supposed to say Happy Bitthday J-Bird. Garbage service - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Bluffton, South Carolina

Went today with my son as I was so happy to hear you've reopened under new leadership! Well, it was a disappointment. After paying, we waited 20 minutes for my son's medium Blizzard (we received a small, but I didn't say anything.) Another 5 minutes passed and I still hadn't received my sundae. I went to the counter and the girl told me the ice cream machine broke. (Was she just not going to tell me?!) They refunded my card and we left. During this time, the drive thru line barely moved (at least one truck drove away after waiting over 20 minutes), the folks at the table beside me got the wrong order twice, and another table got their order in three installments with about 5 minutes between each installment. Everybody in the country is understaffed, and I think most people are abundantly patient lately. Having said that, common courtesy of notifying your customers that there is (apparently) only one person making all of the orders, for in-store and drive thru, would have made a big difference - or at least given us an opportunity to decide whether we were willing to tolerate that kind of a wait. With all of the noise made about new management, I hoped you would have been prepared for anxious customers returning. This just seems like more of the same. Good luck. read more

This place has just came down hill so much, due to there employees, i feel they hired anyone. with that being said i went sunday night for 2 ice creams around 8pm & nobody was in there, i waited for about 7 minutes up front for my order to be taken, then once my order was taken nobody made my order they rang me up then went to the back and i heard employees giggling and laughing i sat down to wait & nobody was making my order 15 minutes went by & i went back upfront and someone new came up and said "hi how can i help you" and told them i've been waiting 15 minutes for 2 ice creams and then the guy says he forgot he'll be right on it. HE LITERALLY RANG ME UP AND FORGOT TO MAKE MY ORDER! what an embarrassment! i've called to speak to a manager but nobody can ever answer the phone, i think the next step would be a corporate call. TERRIBLE PLACE! read more

Pay no attention to the bad reviews. This place is under new management and has greatly improved. The days of long waits, dirty store and half eaten blizzards in the ice cream cake freezer are over now the service is nice and quick and the store is clean. I love the chocolate dipped cones, but the smores blizzard and root bear float are very good. Also good are the cheese curds. Come to this DQ! read more

I would leave 0 stars if that was an option. Unfriendly staff, unprofessional service & it took 22 minutes to get 3 ice cream orders when there was no one in front of us. We didn't order anything that had to be cooked! Would never suggest this location read more

This place doesn't seem clean, the help is unmotivated and rude. Where is the Manager to correct all this? All of these bad reviews... you think they would care. It amazes me how people will put up with this. Management needs to correct all this! This was my first time in this location and I doubt I will return. read more

Wish I could leave a 0 star review. Ordered on the dairy queen app & it said that my order would be ready at 1:37 & to pick it up in the dining room. Got here & the dining room was closed. Waited 26 min at the speaker & another 19 min in line before I drove away. The entire time there was only one car in front of me & they were already at the window when I pulled up. No way to cancel your order online. read more

Visited the 2nd different Dairy Queen in two days. The lobby was closed but drive thru was open. Ordering was difficult as the person taking orders either could not hear or was totally distracted. Had to correct the order with the employee twice then confirm it with her. The wait In Line was longer than usual. When coming to window to pay and gather up the treats was another adventure. 2 items had to be returned to be corrected. Be cautious for disappointment. read more

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Inside is closed, drive thru only!! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Bluffton, South Carolina

Absolutely the worst DQ ever. Please god someone new buy this and actually give a crap. The current owners clearly don't. Plus, their FB, Google, and DQ's website says they close at 9:30, but they actually close at 8:30. Also, there are no signs on the building showing their hours. read more

I was craving a soft serve so I mapped a DQ and saw that they were open until 9:45pm. I drove there and arrived at 9:20pm July 15th, 2021. This is the worst Dairy Queen we have ever been to. I would not stop here! I would definitely go up to the one on Hilton head or anywhere else. Occasionally there's a good nighttime manager that works there but any other time they just don't even greet you, they don't smile at you, service is terrible I wish I knew the owner of this franchise cause they really need to know. I only gave it one star because they wouldn't let me give it zero stars read more

This DQ is legit! Fast friendly service in a clean restaurant. They were low on ice cream cakes and pies so you might want to call ahead for those. Lots of parking. read more

I usually trust Yelp reviews and should have in this case, but we received a coupon in the mail so we thought we'd give it a try. Again, we should have trusted the reviews describing terrible service and owners who clearly couldn't care less about the lack of such their inattentive employees (and "manager") provide. While we were in line, we heard the disinterested and rude order-taker over the speaker which prompted the car ahead of us pull out of line - undoubtedly due to his rudeness. We approached the monitor and received the same "what do you want" and "what else...what else," abs finally, "drive forward." No kindness or concern, no "thank you." I hope they close. Clearly the years'-worth of truthful and terrible reviews mean nothing to their owners or corporation. There are MUCH better options in Bluffton. read more

This Dairy Queen location is ran by absolute imbeciles. The Justin Bieber looking man-child at the window was absolutely clueless and half deaf. They had hardly any food to offer also. No fries, no slushies, no pretzels. They drowned our hotdogs/burger in the sauces to the point where the bread was disgustingly moist and squishy. Along with the complete mess we got, were no napkins in the bag. These idiots have no idea what they are doing. I've never been to a Dairy Queen so poorly managed and fucked. A Halloween store has better chance of survival year round than this shit show. read more

It's truly a miracle that this dumpster fire is still open. The ice cream machine is always down, the staff is rude, this place is a joke. Everyone else has left one star reviews so you would think they would do the right thing and shut this place down and yet they still haven't. Wow. read more

Facility is dirty. Floors are sticky, expect your shoes to stick. Chairs tables and booths were sticky and dirty, not cleaned after each use. This is one of the worst DQs I have ever been to. I wish this was not the case, for two separate occasions they were out of vanilla ice cream altogether or said their ice cream machine was broken. If they do have ice cream it is melty and runny. It makes me sad that we can't enjoy our favorite ice cream place because this particular one in our town is so poorly run. read more

We love DQ frozen treats, but unfortunately EVERY time we swing by to get a blizzard or dipped cone, the service is SO BAD! There are plenty of employees being staffed but nobody who cares about customer service or doing anything other than standing around talking. I ordered a cake for my daughters 13th birthday on 1/22/20 to be picked up I kn 1/24/20 by noon. I arrived at 12:15 for pick up today and wAs told they were writing on it now. So I just smiled and waited another 10 minutes. The man brought the cake out and I was kind of in a shock. I said I can't even read this. He said yeah I was noticing that. So I just sAid it's fine and left. I was drivinng home and decided I wanted to return it. I brought the cake back in and d told the woman at the register text r I I'd like a rrefund and I don't want the cake. She stuck her head behind the partition and said she's back - she don't want the cake. Then 5 minutes later another employee comes up and tells me the manager went to the bank and he would be back in 5 minutes. So I've been standing here for 30. I know he was here when I got here because the woman up front told him I was. Also come to find out the manager is the one who wrote on the cake. This DQ is the ABSOLUTE WORST I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. We will NEVER come back- ** hey DQ corporate- I did send you a direct email and your response was that you were contacting the independent franchise owner. Also the final result was me waiting 50 minutes for the manager to come back with a woman and they both just avoided eye contact and walked behind the counter. The woman looked at me and smiled though. The manager however never even apologized or even acknowledged me really. He just refunded my card. I run a large medical practice and would be fully embarrassed knowing people that treated customers that way worked for me. read more

Calling this place a Dumpster fire is the equivalent of giving them a 5 star review.... This establishment has to be the worst run business on the globe...This place is like a train wreck crashing into a dumpster fire while the Queen of England was on board..... I waited for 45 minutes in line just to get to the window and have them tell me they are closed at 7:30... website said they closed at 9:00 pm yet no one came to the line of 15 cars waiting to inform them that they were closed... Car directly in front of me ordered and they still had people in the restaurant.. I cant accurately put into words how unbelievable my experience was.. I have no idea how corporate DQ allows a location like this to operate, the staff was rude, uninformative and the best they could tell me is that this train wreck crashing into a dumpster fire while the Queen of England was on board would open again at 10 am.... I'm sorry what??? How on earth is this flaming piece of garbage allowed to open again at 10 am.. I am beyond and beside myself what just took place and what I experienced.. in situations like this there should be an option for 0 stars or better yet negative stars.... Corporate DQ please for the love of all that are delicious desserts, hear the voice of the people and shut down this absolute Cluster F*** of an operation and open up a new facility with better employees and operational managers... read more

Called to make sure they were still open before driving over there. When we arrived 10 minutes before they closed, no one would come to the window and we called while there to explain that we just spoke to them and they said they were open and she told us she was coming over to the window to take our order and turned off all of the lights as soon as she hung up. I really don't know how this DQ has survived so long. I've lived in Bluffton a couple of years now, and every time I've left that place I think, "maybe they're just having a really bad day" or "is it just me, or did that take a REALLY long time?" Well, it's not me, it's them. Almost every time I've gone, the person at the register has made it clear that they don't want to be there and I'm bothering them by being there. Just got an order, that once again, took forever to get. I took a bite of the cheeseburger, and it was soggy, cooked maybe to a medium rare (cheese hadn't even melted), and the vegetables looked like they scraped it off of the bottom of the old batch. They took forever to even fix the radio for the drive thru. Even though I love DQ and it's conveniently placed here in Bluffton, you've fooled me for the last time. Thank you Bluffton DQ for my first yelp review! read more

While the milkshake tasted great, the drive through server argued that we didn't order a mini butterfinger blizzard. She said she heard something that was completely different sounding.
