Had a simple ice cream cake ordered online for a family get together. Figured I would keep it easy and just have them write the American standard "Happy Birthday Ben and Libby". Instead I got the really nice declarative statement "Happy Ben and Libby". My son thought it was really funny, my daughter not so much. They said they could fix it when went to pay for it and write in birthday but it made it look even shittier, which in turn made me laugh, which then in turn further pissed off my 10 year old daughter. I got a lecture all the way to the family birthday party about how I don't take her feelings seriously and how turning 10 is a big deal. If I could give zero stars, I would. This employee at the drive thru who apparently goes by the name of Victoria rhea was hands down the worst employee I've ever dealt with. Rude, lazy, messy, and had a nasty attitude from the second we pulled up. She messed up the order completely, acted like it was our fault, and had the audacity to roll her eyes and laugh under her breathe when we asked her to fix it. No manners, no professionalism just straight up disrespectful. She clearly hates her job and takes it out on customers. Unacceptable. Hopefully something is done about this. read more

interesting fast food place! i went there and ordered through the drive through, got one burger and pressed "no tip", they started laughing at me...? and were quite obviously talking about me amongst themselves. i have worked in fast food for 3 years and i have never acted this way if someone didn't tip? am i sitting down? am i ordering a lot of food? no. I worked here , and they didn't train me. All the employees would talk poorly on me while not training me. Lucky you get to eat food when you work. Absolutely terrible! The food is made terrible and the service is the worst. Gave them several tries-not once was it ok. They do not mix the blizzards. Got the peach cobbler blizzard-vanilla ice cream through the top 3/4 and then a bunch of strong syrup in the bottom. In fact. When I want little more than ice cream DQ had the misty float such a good combo ice cream and slush. Very good.

FOOD POISONING. This is the second time my husband has gotten sick from there! I know this because its been since July since we've last gone and he got sick then too. We decided to try it out again (6 months later) and lo and behold...he's sick again after getting the same butterfinger blizzard. I don't know why the Dairy Queen is rated so low? Every time I go in, the workers greet, the service is fast and most importantly, the ice cream is delicious! I have been to this Dairy Queen twice and both times it's filthy dirty. The first time I would only buy Buster Bars because they were boxed. Second time, my husband was coming home from the hospital and wanted a hot fudge sundae. No hot fudge and no whipped cream. Lucky for us. I got another box of Buster Bars, only to discover them cracked and broken and just a mess. The Board of Health needs to review this place. It needs closed down. How has it been since I last had a Blizzard? Witch Flavor, Beaver's nifty new ice cream parlor, was unreachable due to a car show/parade/street fair going on, so after lunch at Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe, we came here to get ice cream. I know, I know. I said that I wished for DQ to be struck down by Witch Flavor's slingshot in a recent review but we were sort of stuck, not to mention craving. Anyway, back to the Blizzard. Man, I remember when these first came onto the ice cream scene, causing a commotion. Like Van Halen, they've spawned an immeasurable number of knock-offs. Not being able to recall the name of my Blizzard, I can tell you that mine involved an unsafe dose of fudge. I dunno. There was something lacking to it. I think that Witch Flavor's Penn State Creamery ice cream has made DQ rather irrelevant. I mean, when I was ten, I used to get excited about The Outfield. At age thirteen, I was listening to Anthrax. Things change. P.S. It's a good and clean restaurant though, but please watch for the black posts with the horse heads on them. I almost crotched myself on one as we walked out of there. Dairy Queen, decent food definitely not the best but for what it is, it's good! Imagine you're waiting all day at work to go to dairy queen when you get off cause you want to get your FAVORITE meal, a cheeseburger and a fudge stuffed cookie. You get their impatiently waiting in their drive thru just to get up there for them to tell you "Sorry the cookie is not on our menu anymore". That same thing happened to me, so I decided to drive to another dairy queen, and to my surprise THEY STOPPED SELLING IT TOO!! This has caused me extreme pain, suffering and low blood sugar. Hate to even give them 1 star! We have monthly birthday dinners & went to pick up the cake I ordered yesterday & they didn't have any record of the order. These cakes feed 20-24 people & aren't cheap. This isn't the 1st time this has happened. We dhowed them the call log from my phone & they said sorry, that's it, no discount or anything. Our dinner is in an hour so luckily they had a cake in their freezer but it wasn't decorated like I ordered. There's never any remorse when this happens either. I know I won't be going back. Every time my family goes to this Dairy Queen location we are rarely given what we pay for. The staff is completely disinterested and worst of all my families orders are wrong. Some lady was very rude and had a bad attitude. I was in the store and while I was waiting for about 8 minutes I over heard some disturbing conversations. She came up to the counter and she said hi but she didn't seem happy to be there and had a bit of a rude tone. While taking my order she was glaring at me. Here's the deal, the ice cream, blizzards, and other sweet treats are great. But my oh my this place needs some help infrastructure wise. It is certainly an older building, and even the equipment could use some TLC ... sometimes the blizzards come out a little soupy. The staff can be hit or miss; they're all nice but sometimes a little less than professional in how they handle themselves behind the counter. As long as my ice cream is good and clean, I don't get bothered, but I've been in awkward situations where other customers are visibly annoyed and looking to me for some nod or approval about their indignation, and I'm like, NOPE. Zero's not an option. Ordered a heart shaped ice cream cake for Valentines day ...SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR ONE THAT WOULD SERVE 8 TO 10 PEOPLE. My son and his friends go here faithfully every Friday after school. He usually orders a large Blizzard and a few items from the grill. Today they were told they had to leave soon after eating.I called and questioned the manager. She explained that she couldn't just let them sit there and that they had limited tables. I could understand this rule if the store was busy. But when I arrived a few minutes later, the store was empty with plenty of empty tables!! The boys were there for only about twenty five minutes. I wonder if all the customers are notified about this "rule"? Needless to say we won't be returning to this location again!
