How has it been since I last had a Blizzard? Witch Flavor, Beaver's nifty new ice cream parlor, was unreachable due to a car show/parade/street fair going on, so after lunch at Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe, we came here to get ice cream. I know, I know. I said that I wished for DQ to be struck down by Witch Flavor's slingshot in a recent review but we were sort of stuck, not to mention craving. Anyway, back to the Blizzard. Man, I remember when these first came onto the ice cream scene, causing a commotion. Like Van Halen, they've spawned an immeasurable number of knock-offs. Not being able to recall the name of my Blizzard, I can tell you that mine involved an unsafe dose of fudge. I dunno. There was something lacking to it. I think that Witch Flavor's Penn State Creamery ice cream has made DQ rather irrelevant. I mean, when I was ten, I used to get excited about The Outfield. At age thirteen, I was listening to Anthrax. Things change. P.S. It's a good and clean restaurant though, but please watch for the black posts with the horse heads on them. I almost crotched myself on one as we walked out of there. Pay attention! read more

Total incompetence on the part of their employees. How could making soft serve ice cream be so hard? Terribly slow drive-thru service, so much so, customers who pull in, park, and go into the store get served faster. How could this be?? Do better Beaver Dairy Queen. Your subpar customer service certainly doesn't match the quality of other Beaver establishments. Hire better. Hire smarter. read more

I bought Buster Bats there today, I buy them all the time, first time buying there. I usually pay 14.99, they were 18.99. First one had a gross long hair tangled in. They had no fudge in them, were so freezer burnt I couldn't eat them, and tasted like fried chicken. They were also half the size of the ones I usually buy. Idk if they were melted or what. I'm beyond irritated. 20.00 for a box of nastiness. read more

Had a simple ice cream cake ordered online for a family get together. Figured I would keep it easy and just have them write the American standard "Happy Birthday Ben and Libby". Instead I got the really nice declarative statement "Happy Ben and Libby". My son thought it was really funny, my daughter not so much. They said they could fix it when went to pay for it and write in birthday but it made it look even shittier, which in turn made me laugh, which then in turn further pissed off my 10 year old daughter. I got a lecture all the way to the family birthday party about how I don't take her feelings seriously and how turning 10 is a big deal. Cake was good and I realize shit happens, but holy hell Beaver Dairy Queen, go home you are drunk. Picture attached. read more

Great customer service from two kind employees today. Came by for a quick stop and these workers I spoke to (The sweet lady's name was Amber, and the other kind young man's name was James.) seriously made the experience so much better. Super chill, polite, and actually seemed like they wanted to make their customers feel comfortable and welcomed, which is rare these days. The young man got my order right with zero mistakes, was quick, and they both just had really good energy. Little things like that make a difference shoutout to these kind people, James and Amber for being awesome. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This employee at the drive thru who apparently goes by the name of Victoria rhea was hands down the worst employee I've ever dealt with. Rude, lazy, messy, and had a nasty attitude from the second we pulled up. She messed up the order completely, acted like it was our fault, and had the audacity to roll her eyes and laugh under her breathe when we asked her to fix it. No manners, no professionalism just straight up disrespectful. She clearly hates her job and takes it out on customers. Unacceptable. Hopefully something is done about this. read more

Absolutely terrible! The food is made terrible and the service is the worst. Gave them several tries-not once was it ok. They do not mix the blizzards. Got the peach cobbler blizzard-vanilla ice cream through the top 3/4 and then a bunch of strong syrup in the bottom. In fact. All their blizzards are like that and they are so rude for no reason. read more

I worked here , and they didn't train me. All the employees would talk poorly on me while not training me. Lucky you get to eat food when you work. Also the the freezer is too cold for me to put stuff away in (brr). Only got one shirt (moths got to it) very uncomfortable. Too many scammers and sweats coming in, and also I'm upset read more

Good customer service and food. Clean inside and outside. Nice portion and efficient crew

This is one of the nicest DQ I have been in! It is very clean, neat, and the staff was quick and helpful! I will stop back! The cheese curds are great! read more

I'm not sure what the issue here is but I've been to this location 3 times in a the past month and the employees seem miserable. I'm not expecting some over the top welcome but customers just seem to be an inconvenience to the staff. Also, the place smells weird. The food is fine. It's what you'd expect from any DQ. read more

When I want little more than ice cream DQ had the misty float such a good combo ice cream and slush. Very good.

FOOD POISONING. This is the second time my husband has gotten sick from there! I know this because its been since July since we've last gone and he got sick then too. We decided to try it out again (6 months later) and lo and behold...he's sick again after getting the same butterfinger blizzard. Thank goodness I didn't get sick or my toddler because as a breastfeeding mom that's my worst nightmare! Clean up your store and wash your damn hands or you are going to get more people sick!! read more

I don't know why the Dairy Queen is rated so low? Every time I go in, the workers greet, the service is fast and most importantly, the ice cream is delicious! I've also ordered several ice cream cakes from there and they are always a hit! Overall, I Iike Dairy Queen's ice cream and think it is reasonably priced. read more

I have been to this Dairy Queen twice and both times it's filthy dirty. The first time I would only buy Buster Bars because they were boxed. Second time, my husband was coming home from the hospital and wanted a hot fudge sundae. No hot fudge and no whipped cream. Lucky for us. I got another box of Buster Bars, only to discover them cracked and broken and just a mess. The Board of Health needs to review this place. It needs closed down. And, people at work in their pajama bottoms, sitting out back texting. Gimme a break! Do something, or I am going to go to Beaver Council. read more

I just bought 2 banana splits to go. Just 5 minutes later I opened the container and had soup. If there's a problem with the equipment the customer should be warned. read more

Horrible customer service. Only one person working thr counter and one cooking. Guy at the register seemed aggravated he had to take our order. After our meal we wanted blizzards so I walked to the counter and he was sitting in the back playing on his phone. I know he saw me, so we just left. read more

Dairy Queen, decent food definitely not the best but for what it is, it's good! Imagine you're waiting all day at work to go to dairy queen when you get off cause you want to get your FAVORITE meal, a cheeseburger and a fudge stuffed cookie. You get their impatiently waiting in their drive thru just to get up there for them to tell you "Sorry the cookie is not on our menu anymore". That same thing happened to me, so I decided to drive to another dairy queen, and to my surprise THEY STOPPED SELLING IT TOO!! This has caused me extreme pain, suffering and low blood sugar. I want an explanation on to why they would stop making that since it's the only good thing on the menu. Your remove a perfectly good item, just to add on rubbery rotisserie chicken bites? I feel like Im eating early 2000's Silly Bands. Disappointed, Dissatisfied. read more

Hate to even give them 1 star! We have monthly birthday dinners & went to pick up the cake I ordered yesterday & they didn't have any record of the order. These cakes feed 20-24 people & aren't cheap. This isn't the 1st time this has happened. We dhowed them the call log from my phone & they said sorry, that's it, no discount or anything. Our dinner is in an hour so luckily they had a cake in their freezer but it wasn't decorated like I ordered. There's never any remorse when this happens either. I know I won't be going back. After the 1st time this happened I quit going & thought I'd give them another chance because their location is more convenient. I'll go out of my way not to go there anymore. read more

employees are super kind. food is good always hot. they were super fast getting my food ready. ice cream was good and they all had smiles.

Every time my family goes to this Dairy Queen location we are rarely given what we pay for. The staff is completely disinterested and worst of all my families orders are wrong. I do not take offense when my order is wrong but when my family gets something they did not order that is something else entirely. I will not be returning to this location. I'd give zero stars if I could read more

Some lady was very rude and had a bad attitude. I was in the store and while I was waiting for about 8 minutes I over heard some disturbing conversations. She came up to the counter and she said hi but she didn't seem happy to be there and had a bit of a rude tone. While taking my order she was glaring at me. I would eat there again but it would be door dashed to my house instead. The rest of the employees that were there though, were very nice and seemed to enjoy what they did. read more

Here's the deal, the ice cream, blizzards, and other sweet treats are great. But my oh my this place needs some help infrastructure wise. It is certainly an older building, and even the equipment could use some TLC ... sometimes the blizzards come out a little soupy. The staff can be hit or miss; they're all nice but sometimes a little less than professional in how they handle themselves behind the counter. As long as my ice cream is good and clean, I don't get bothered, but I've been in awkward situations where other customers are visibly annoyed and looking to me for some nod or approval about their indignation, and I'm like, NOPE. Just give me my blizzard, and I'll be on my way. read more

Zero's not an option. Ordered a heart shaped ice cream cake for Valentines day ...SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR ONE THAT WOULD SERVE 8 TO 10 PEOPLE. When I get there they have a mini one and said OOPS, "sorry for any inconvenience". I know the drill! They were too lazy or cheap to make what I asked for and took one of their pre-made mini cakes and that's what I got. Squeezed the writing into the tiny space and it looked like he||. Needless to say I was pi$$ed. I plan on avoiding this place at all costs in the future. Disappointing!! read more

Ok we've come here often. They have gone down hill. Once again I am wiping off table and seat to sit. I'm not sure when any cleaning has been done this week, if anyone did, um, yeah. I stopped going to Roch store, I guess we won't be back here for a while. Disgusting. We waited 18 min for food then to top it off.. did you ever get a half salad at Wendy's? The half salad is bigger than the one here. $5.60 for this? What a joke. read more

Stopped here while traveling further west. Usually I love dairy queen but not this one. I was so disappointed. I ordered crispy fish. I got fish and bread. No tartar sauce. No lettuce. No cheese. I was told they didn't have any. REALLY! !! The chocolate malt had no malt powder and was so white I thought it was vanilla. Exasperating. Baskin Robbins here I come. read more

never ever go to the beaver dairy queen! they tried ripping me off by adding an extra meal to my total, got in an attitude with me and then barely gave me fries for any of the meals i got (for my family) then triple charged me for bbq sauce!!! i am going straight to corporate and yelp!!! just because you have a miserable job doesn't mean you take it out on your customers!!! read more

My son and his friends go here faithfully every Friday after school. He usually orders a large Blizzard and a few items from the grill. Today they were told they had to leave soon after eating.I called and questioned the manager. She explained that she couldn't just let them sit there and that they had limited tables. I could understand this rule if the store was busy. But when I arrived a few minutes later, the store was empty with plenty of empty tables!! The boys were there for only about twenty five minutes. I wonder if all the customers are notified about this "rule"? Needless to say we won't be returning to this location again! My son will find another place to go that will appreciate his patronage! read more
