I love that we have a local shop that serves up great desserts and guilty pleasures!…read more The place is small but inviting and clean. They have a patio outside which can be used during the hot summer months while you enjoy a refreshing dessert. They did some changes inside which allowed them to put more tables! BONUS!! They have a variety of good eats and some are depicted with pictures on the wall. I absolutely love this because it allows me to visualize what it is and I think it entices you more. I'm sure there are hundreds of mix & matches they can do but these pictures definitely gives you a head start. The service is friendly and incredibly fast. I think the price was reasonable for our 4 picks. It came out to about $14 total. I've paid more for just 2 rolled ice creams in San Antonio. So not bad in my book. Take away: -Shaved coconut sorbet: smooth, light and has pieces of coconut with every bite. This brings me back to being on a beach in bora bora sipping on a piña colada. Incredibly refreshing and vibrant. -Strawberry Italian Ice: again refreshing, light, packed with a strong strawberry flavor. My daughter ate it all and she rarely ever does. - chocolate ice cream: blue bell ('nuf said) - Pineapple Paradise: one word...AMAZING! If you love pineapple, strawberry and coconut, this is your treat! It has coconut ice cream (not sorbet) wIth bite sized strawberries and pineapple filled to the top! The ice cream was velvety with pieces of coconut throughout. I believe it came with a strawberry syrup like sauce. Either way, this was a winner in my book! I'd highly Recommend it if you love those three ingredients! This only comes in medium size and it's plenty to share with 2 people but I'm selfish and would rather keep this to myself. For a quick change from DQ or something typical, come here insteafor your treats! We support local businesses, So keep this place alive Devine!

Everything tastes genuinely homemade, rich, and thoughtfully crafted. The texture is incredibly smooth and creamy, and the flavors are bold without being overpowering. You can tell there's real care behind every batch. What really stands out is how fresh everything tastes. Whether you go classic or try one of their more creative options, it feels like something made in a small kitchen with quality ingredients, not mass-produced. It has that nostalgic, old-school ice cream shop feel but with elevated flavor. The atmosphere matches the product. It's welcoming, relaxed, and the kind of place you'll want to bring family or meet friends after dinner. It's easy to see why people keep coming back. Simply put, Parker's delivers some of the best ice cream you'll find in the area. If you appreciate true homemade quality, this place is a must.

After a quick search for "ice cream" on Apple Maps, Parker's Ice Cream popped up only 3 minutes away. Perfect! We rolled into a small shopping "strip" (4 stores) nestled in an area of several sub-developments and parked right in front. On this Saturday afternoon, there was only one family sitting in the booths inside and we walked right up and ordered. The kid wanted mint chocolate chip - excellent choice! They had the gambit of flavors - traditional and unique like Cookie Monster, salted pretzel, etc.). They also had quite a few options for cones...and of course bowls. The mint chocolate chip ice cream was DELICIOUS! And soft too Not as soft as McD's cones or cream, but softer than the rock hard scooped ice cream typical for ice cream shops. The employees were very pleasant as well. We felt welcome and they were even going to go out of their way to get babygirl a pink ice cream cone. She switched to a blue one easy peasy, so there was no need the extra hassle. The offer was appreciated though!! Also turns out they give back to their community and support many community and youth groups and schools. I'm here for all of that!! Kudos, Parkers Ice Creams!! We will be back

I checked the Google reviews to make sure that they have options for me before I arrived which they said that they did. Located off of a busy highway/street with plenty of parking on a white gravel path, I found Scoops and Roots. I wasn't immediately greeted upon entering which I thought was a red flag, but I continued to walk inside as I was craving vanilla ice cream. I searched the options high and low looking for anything that was marked, "dairy-free" or "vegan", everything sounded absolutely delicious with the unique flavors that they had to offer, however, I was deeply disappointed when I didn't find anything that caught my eye. I asked and the chick behind the counter suggested a chocolate ice cream that was the only vegan option outside of the non-creamed items. I was double disappointed because chocolate is my least favorite flavor. I wasn't expecting this restaurant to be all vegan, but at least some cream options. I ordered the chocolate. It was okay at best. I sat towards the back of the restaurant near the plants. There was a guy who kept walking around the vicinity that I was sitting which made me feel as if I was being studied. He spoke very loudly towards another person. I think he introduced himself as the owner. The plants were beautiful to look at, however, I thought that the pricing was outrageously expensive. I am a gardener and a former houseplant parent (before it was popular) and thought that the pricing of the plants was unreasonable. The owner sparked up a conversation with me and was telling me about how to care for plants. I had told him that I know how to care for plants to keep them alive as I used to work at a garden nursery and previously owned that said plant when I was in college. He continued to tell me about plant care. Even the gardening supplies were pretty pricey. It was a chill vibe, but I won't be back considering they don't have more dairy-free flavors outside of chocolate ice cream.

As recent Austin transplants, we are so happy to find a place that serves our beloved Mexican Vanilla. And as an indoor plant lover, I felt so elated to walk in to this well decorated space and see that it was absolutely covered in plants of all sizes and types as well as some indoor plant gardening supplies! Being able to enjoy your ice cream amongst the plants is a unique and creative setting and we enjoyed every moment of it! After our treat, I bought a cute satin pothos and pot. Their selection is great, and prices reasonable too. I'm so happy to have a place outside of Home Depot in Bulverde to get stocked up on indoor plants. Would highly recommend a visit!
