I couldn't, so I walked away. Ricky Dickson, Blue Bell's former CEO, might be disappointed that a Blue Bell lover didn't get the chance to taste more of his yummy flavors! I hope the shop considers allowing at least two samples so customers can enjoy choosing.

We walked in, and the line was to the door. Definitely a good sign. Looking around the decor was dated, but festive. A menu hung on the wall with many different tasty treats. It was exactly what I expected of a mom and pop shop. Tables were limited, so I was hoping to have a seat. We stepped up to the counter and perused the menu. My kiddos ordered a scoop of their desired flavor, while the wife and I ordered a banana split to share. It had been quite a minute since I have had a good banana split. We ordered it with the traditional flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. Also got the nuts, whipped cream, cherry, the works. We paid our fee, snagged a table, and got to work on it. The line continued to grow, so we were lucky to snag a spot. It was absolutely delicious. The vanilla was not your traditional vanilla, but was a Mexican vanilla. I'm generally not a fan of it due to the cinnamon like taste, but I was digging it. It all was very delicious, and very creamy. We loved everything about it. The kiddos loved theirs as well. Very delicious. While we were eating our ice cream one of the vagrants from outside walked in. This fella was bold and started begging everyone in line all the way up to the cash register. Very bold on his part. We were sort of surprised the establishment did not run him out of there. Hopefully next time they do. Nonetheless, this did not take anything away from this place. Definitely worth the trip. The desserts were delicious, and the time with my family was memorable. It put a cherry on top of a ready great trip to Corpus Christi. Highly recommend this place. When we asked for sorbet for our daughter who is lactose free, they said they had watermelon sorbet. That was not sorbet, it was water melon shaved ice. Even after they went to the back to scoop it, it came back completely frozen. I couldn't even insert the spoon in it, much less my 3 year old daughter. The watermelon ice ball came flying out of the cup onto the floor. We picked it up and asked for a different ice cream, and maybe have my daughter try a bit of regular ice cream even though she can't have it. They later brought out another watermelon ice that they had shaved it up a bit more so it wasn't too frozen. It was still frozen like shave ice, but at least my daughter could use her spoon with it.
