    Boi loves ice cream.

It's Dairy Queen! Great burgers, and classic staple ice cream! This is a multi-generational family tradition.

Best & cleanest DQ in Denton!!!!!

Literally the cleanest DQ I have ever been to! Yes it looks old but my goodness it sparkles. You can smell the bleach when you walk it, but it isn't overpowering. The service is great, the food is fresh, hot, and delicious, and the ice cream is on point! Literally going to be my go to DQ for now on.

We have been to this location a handful of times in the past with pretty mixed results. Pretty much every time was a Sunday afternoon trip through the drive thru. Several visits in a row showed us inappropriately dressed teens (short shorts and bare stomachs while making food?) eating ice cream while taking orders. So we had not been back in a while. Someone had told me about the new Pumpkin Pie blizzard on Friday, so of course I was on a mission Saturday! We had gone to the location on University but when we caught them trying to stay closed and dodging customers, we decided they didn't need our business. Upon entering, we were both shocked at how clean the place was! We had not expected that from our drive thru trips. The floors, walls and tables were extremely clean. Everything was spotless, except for the stained ceiling tiles and the ice cream freezer, which had an old rundown appearance. I was kind of bummed this location didn't offer the $5 lunch deals or the $6 lunch deals, that made for an $18+ lunch. They did have the blizzard of the month, and THAT'S what mattered! My husband went with a Hunger Buster and fries, his hunger was indeed busted and he enjoyed his meal. My chicken strip basket did not come in a basket, but in a Styrofoam container... womp, womp! Perhaps they realized (correctly) that I wouldn't finish it? Maybe... but I wanted the nostalgia of my red plastic basket! Also, the food was hot, so my chicken actually melted several holes in the container near the gravy and I had to get a new container. You can't say they don't make the food to order! Well, you couldn't say that anyway... because the wait was pretty long, but that's cool with me if I'm getting hot, fresh food. My food was actually really good, I liked the chicken best with their honey mustard dipping sauce. The fries were fresh and I've always adored their Texas Toast. The three ladies that were working were very friendly too. This location doesn't seem to do uniforms, but the older woman running the shift was acting in a professional manner. A customer spilled some water and they were on that fast, no wonder the place is so clean! I guess they are turning this place around, or at least the Saturday lunch crew did a great job. Can we get on to the blizzard now?? Since I was ordering a larger meal than I initially expected to, I went with the mini for $2.99. You know, it really does look small, but it really is enough glorious, sugary, sweet Thanksgivingness to hit the spot and satisfy your craving, so I felt like I went with the right choice. Oh yeah, that Pumpkin Pie blizzard DOES taste like Thanksgiving! It has legit chunks of pumpkin pie mixed in! Say what??? The crust on that pie was amazing! Huh?? I spent way more time devoted to getting every lick of that blizzard than paying attention to my (hot and delicious) food. Well... yeah... that sounds like a typical trip to DQ actually. They did not hold my blizzard upside down, they just placed it on the counter. Probably smart since the whipped cream looked like it could slide off. They added a dash of nutmeg, nice finishing touch! This place exceeded my expectations in friendliness, cleanliness and food. They are on the slow side, so try to avoid being in a rush. The ice cream is legit delicious and I may have to rough some people up to keep getting that Pumpkin Pie blizzard during the off season. It's REALLY good, you should definitely stop by and try one out! You don't have to be a hardcore pumpkin lover to like this blizzard, I promise. I want to share the great news with others, but if they run out... I'm going to have to seriously consider closing my Yelp account. Check them out, just leave some for me! :)

Terrible, waited in line after placing my order just to get to the window for them to say they cannot make my order. Wasted my time, thanks.

The worst customer service in Denton. I have stopped in multiple times, and the workers have the worst attitude I've ever seen.

My partner in food wanted to try the King Kong against my better judgment. Looking at the photos, it didn't appear conceivable - to make matters worse, he wanted it to go! It came deconstructed. Four HUMONGOUS beef patties and probably a whole pound of bacon and beautifully melted cheddar. The bun was questionable, mostly because it was nowhere near enough bread for all that meat, but I get it, in a challenge situation, I wouldn't want to load up on bread. The patties were well seasoned and firm. I would have preferred medium, but since I was sharing, well done was fine. Not over done and still juicy. It also came with a container full of steak fries! I admittedly put a hurting in the fries, dipping them in the house ranch mixed with the jalapeño ranch. I wanted the fries to be crispier and the ranch to be thicker, but they were delicious nonetheless!! So how much of it did we finish?? I finished one patty with out bread!! My partner finished one and a half patties with sandwich bread. The bun got designated to my leftover patty. Tomorrow's lunch will be a single patty burger with half a pound of bacon!

With the…read morevintage movie posters on the walls, college kids writing formulas on the walls, an arcade, pool table, and picnic-table-style seating, it has a fun after-school hangout vibe. For lunch, I ordered the #9 Love Affair burger combo with sweet potato fries and added a side of onion rings. The sweet potato fries came in a good portion, which I appreciated. The onion rings, though, were $3.99 for only 6 rings, and that did not feel like a good value. The burger patty itself was the perfect thickness and cooked well, but it had almost no flavor on its own. The only real flavor came from the add-ons I chose, which were egg and pineapple jam. Because of that, the overall flavor just did not match the $22 price tag for lunch. Cool local vibe, decent presentation, but for the price, I expected a lot more flavor.

One day I decided to walk from my apartment on Bonnie Brae and Prairie all the way over to TWU, it was a lovely spring day I wanted to get the steps in. Upon walking into Burger Time Machine you are hit with the smell of delicious. If you don't know what that smell is you need to go to Burger Time Machine. On my first visit I had the Star Trek and I was hooked. During the remainder of my time at UNT I ate at Burger Time Machine once a week and have eaten every single burger on the menu. While I was in school it got to the point where the staff on Fridays knew me and I loved it. It was a very great mission I took on to eat every single burger but with a 6 mile round trip from my apartment to Burger Time Machine I felt like eating their was alright. I had to move for a job and then went back with my partner and she also says we need to go visit Denton so we can do Jazz Fest and other great Denton things, but we both know it's to eat at Burger Time Machine. If you're getting kind of fast food burgers / fast casual burgers / etc. at any other restaurant in Denton, you are doing a disservice to yourself. You should eat there and be happy that you live in Denton Texas and that you're able to eat at Burger Time Machine.

Came here with my son, who lives just across the parking lot at some urban apartments, and he was giving me his resounding endorsement so off we went. So glad I did! We both ordered the Bodacious Burger, layered in American cheese, bacon, heaping mounds of crispy onion, some grilled jalapeños, pickles, but I chose no BBQ sauce. Damn these burgers are thick thick thick and you can taste the homemade freshness with every bite. No frozen patties premade here. We ordered a single of hand punched fries dusted in parsley, salt, and Pepper. But, our waitress said it was enough for two, and she was spot on! Golden crispy fries were delish!
