I think they may charge for substitutions or maybe they added what I wanted to sub. The total should have been $12.20 +tax and it was $15.19 before tip. I also ordered a chocolate malt and it was probably big enough for two to share. There was only one server and at least half of the restaurant was filled from the time we walked in until we walked out. She did a great job getting everyone's orders and serving our food while it is hot. The ambience was nice and similar to what you would expect for a soda fountain place.

However, we did get one complete tomato slice that was shared. We told the waitress we were going to share and would like an extra pickle. She never gave us an extra pickle and we had to ask for another plate to share. She was pleasant enough, but not attentive to the food or our request. For a $8.00sandwich. I felt it was overpriced by five dollars. However, the restaurant itself is cute and comfortable, but no value.

Branded as "Farm to cone", they have an exciting flavor variety to intrigue the adults in the room, of which there were quite a few. I sampled a more classic mint chocolate chip and a more experimental basil flavor with white chocolate chips, both kind of thematically similar. Both flavors hit hard, and the house waffle cone was thinner than I expected but pleasingly browned and it held up well. While the focus on dairy is expected, they do offer several sorbets for those whose dietary needs require it. Business was vigorous even on a midweek night, and I would note that for an ice cream place in an area where the sun does not set in summer until almost 9, they close on the early side, so hurry on over.

We visited the Blackstone District location, but the other one had no parking and the area was so sketchy. Blackstone though is going through construction so we had to drive around, but we found street parking right in front! The shop is very cute, but small! I think service was friendly, I think I was just distracted with how many options there were! The ice cream flavors were interesting and I went with the basil white chocolate - it was so basil forward and I LOVED that. It had bites of white chocolate and I think it mellowed out the basil for me. Still, my favorite. My husband ordered cinnamon cheesecake for himself, and a tart cherry crumble - both of these were lovely! Seating is very limited as there is a bench inside with two round tables, but they are so close together you might as just sit outside at another set of two tables. Decently priced for gourmet ice cream and I loved the shout out on their wall of local farmers that supply certain ingredients!

Unfortunately, they've since merged with a donut shop and have a space in a strip mall. I think the business move makes sense but it really takes away half the reason I went here in the first place - the environment. The staff are friendly. It's almost never busy since they moved to the new location. I'm happy to report that the ice cream is still good! They have really fun waffle bowls that they make into ice cream nachos, great and unique flavors, and lots of toppings. There are board games in the store so you can sit and hang out with friends too.

There's a good variety to the menu and they have several different topping options! I had never had the kind of soft serve they offer here but was eager to try it out. It was interesting, the flavors you choose are twisted into the soft serve, it's a subtle taste. My boyfriend, his fam bam, and I were excited to come here after Father's day dinner and to make sure the guest of honor, his step dad, the father's day special!! We were lucky enough to check out some of their flavors and specials on their Facebook page! As soon as we got there I studied the menu and settled on their Butter Pecan Ice cream with hot fudge. It was savory and delicious. I liked how light and creamy it was. My boyfriend had the Horchata and loved that too! The rest of our group enjoyed their favors as well. His mom commented that she didn't taste much of the Peanut Butter but I think the flavors are meant to be subtle. It's all still new to me but I'm excited to discover more yummy flavors, and treat Rosie to some pup cups! If you find yourself in the are or just finished shopping at the outlets I highly suggest you head over to Cruizin Cones to get your ice cream fix!
