Our favorite DQ. They are very friendly, and prepare you food like they were going to eat it. So many good choices.

Service was quick but food pre-pre cooked. Not hot when order was delivered but we ate what we ordered. It was a busy place but probably won't stop at this location again. Counter service friendly. Plenty of parking. Restrooms needed attending but with only a few employees they did the best they could. They were doing their best. read more

Horrible service waited in drive thru for over 10 minutes no greeting at all pulled up to window and lady was mad cause she didn't answer so we placed order at window spent over 50$ after all the people in the drive thru got their orders and left they finally came out waited for like 20 minutes then she forgot our ice creams so I went inside and she said are you waiting for your ice cream I said yes ma'am and she continued to make them then left through the back door taking the ice cream to my vehicle knowing I was waiting inside for them anyways came to local park and our food was very crappy burnt onion rings, dry ass burgers, missing fries never going there again horrible customer service rude ass people read more

This place is terrible. I went thru drive up a few weeks ago and ordered a burger meal. Service was slow which i didn't mind but when my daughter was going to eat her meal she said there was no meat patty. I though she was joking but sure enough no patty. Mind you I was traveling through town and had already left DQ. I turned my vehicle around and went back for a refund. Manager response.....their exact words "explain to me why I should give you a refund". It's pretty sad when you have to turn around because they forgot to put a meat patty in your burger and then the manager wants you to explain to them why you should get a refund. The kitchen staff is completely lost. This is the second worst run restaurant I'e even been to. No concept of first come / first serve even on simple soft serve ice cream. I will say, when you food arrives, it is what you expect from a Dairy Queen taste and quality standpoint. We have waited 40 ish minutes for ice cream while others come and go ordering burger/fries and be finished before we get our ice cream. Food is always fresh and made when you order it. Downside to that is it takes longer then most drive thru fast food places. So you could go to sonic and be in and out but the food at sonic taste like crap. Dairy Queen food is good but you might have to wait for your order for a few minutes. Worth the wait IMO. read more

At one time I would have killed to get to go to DQ. Now I'm afraid it will kill me if I do go. One night about a week ago my grandson and I drove to DQ in Blanco to have burgers and ice cream. We placed our order and it came out in a timely manner and we proceeded to eat our meal. Then the young lady who took our order disappeared for about 5 - 10 minutes and several customers came in and just waited for service; two customers left. She then reappeared, took their orders, and vanished again. Then she came out and started cleaning counters with what looked like a dirty rag. Someone called her name, she went and took an order out, and the went back to cleaning. She then cleaned the restrooms and again handled customers and orders. Never once did I see her sanitize her hands, use gloves, or wash her hands. With practices like that someone is going to get very sick one day from cross contamination. What made it even worse was there were atleast 3-4 people in the back supposedly working but it sounded like they were having a party. At least she was trying to get things done. I cannot recommend this DQ for any reason because of the unsanitary practices I saw. The only reason I gave 1 star was because our order did come out quickly. read more

Today we drove through w/ 3 coupons for many blizzards from the Blanco Middle School that my daughter had received for good behavior on three different occasions this past school year and after making the 3 mini blizzards for my children, they would not honor them because they said "the school had been copying them!" They called their Manager and she said do not honor them. The district manager had told them not to honor them anymore-what a disappointment! Not a way to treat your local customers. They should contact the school, not punish the students/customers. read more

So I went through the drive thru. The speaker is horrible you can barely hear the people talking. I ordered a burger with NO cheese and extra pickles. My burger had one and a half pickle slices in and cheese and what I guess you would call lettuce not really sure though. The problems with this place are endless I could go on and on. Usually the ice cream machine doesn't work and you have to wait forever before you food is ready. Wish I could give zero stars. read more

Sucks!!! Avoid this place. I swear ownership can't manage the staff and their business. Perhaps they don't cAre since their is no other fast food competition. I stood fifteen minutes at the counter unacknowledged by the heavy set red hair with glasses (no name tag probably to avoid being called out). As she continued to laugh with the cook and shout I cut your banana to the guy at the window and laugh as I stood there waiting to place an order. Right before I walked out she said I will be with you in a moment. Really?!?! This after fifteen minutes of standing there??? Glad I wasn't dying. Then I leave and get in the car and go to the drive thru. All I have to say is wtf!! The store in Johnson City looks scary but customer service is faster. I sat in the drive thru trying to scream my order with a sore throat and the girl kept saying what!! Really? Where are your manners? It took another 25 minutes sitting here. Went through drive thru and got 2 combo meals. They couldn't get the order right. Fries were hard and old. They put cheese on the burger that was supposed to be with no cheese. I asked them to replace burger without cheese and replace fries. I get down the road and the drinks had no flavor, just carbon water and burger had cheese scraped off. Went back, manager, tall brunette was a real witch about everything. Never going back. Bad Food. Bad Service. She sets an example form her emplyoyees and explains why the short red haired girl has the attitude she has. They act like it's your fault they mess things up. read more

Without a doubt the worst DQ I've ever been to. Nevermind the extremely slow service, when I could clearly see at least 4 employees standing around. Have you ever ordered a blizzard and then have to try very hard to tell whether it's a plain vanilla soft serve or in fact the flavor that you ordered? Normally I would just say whatever, but in this case, I brought it to the manager's attention. He proceeded to "spoon" through my blizzard, clearly realizing it was missing the add-ins. I asked if he could simply add a bit to the top. He then proceeded to tell me that he would need to charge me extra. It was almost comical. In future, this particular DQ will not be getting my service. Wish I could rate zero stars. read more
