Parking was a beast on a Saturday afternoon, but we finally got a spot. The patio and indoors were pretty full with smiling faces and people enjoying all sorts of goodies. The menu is VAST they have three or four rotating screens behind the counter with three or four slides each all offering different items. Smoothies, Boba, Lemonade, Tea + Lemonade, Ice Cream, Baked Goods and more! The kids knew they wanted a scoop of ice cream so one scoop of Dumont Chocolate and Cookies and Snow were chosen. They loved both flavors and licked their bowls clean. I chose a Strawberry Tea Lemonade and it was delicious. The fresh mint + fresh lemonade and the black tea, it was all the perfect balance. Opened in 1951, it's the quintessential small town burger stand. I just forgot about it until the other day when I read they're closing. Don't cry,it's because of real estate values. It's no longer economically feasible to make small profits working hard no matter how good the burgers are. The burgers are really good. This place is slammed. I saw two large door dash orders go out and a lot of people that must have ordered online Coming and going. My kid said it was one of the best malts they have ever had, which is a strong statement because they are ice cream connoisseur lol.
