August 9, 2025. For the first time in 5 years, I had supper at the DQ on Soncy. I ordered the Hungerbuster combo which includes the burger, fries, and a drink. That had to be the worst hamburger I have ever had. It was soggy with juice from the pickles dripping out. The bun was so soggy it kept bending. The fries got cold in a hurry. My drink was okay (it was iced tea). I'll never go back to that place. read more

It's fast food, with all its ups and downs. I mainly stopped in here just to try it out and because I was looking for a cheap meal. I had seen a Chicken Tender Basket for $4.99 advertised on the sign out in front but I guess that special had ended and they had 3 tacos for $4.99 special going so I decided to give it a try. It was surprisingly good. The meat didn't taste like it was filled and had a good flavor, not too salty. The taco shells were crispy yet held together till the end. The lettuce was fresh. The cheese wasn't melted but it didn't taste too phony. I've been in fast food places with the nicest clerks you'd ever want to encounter and this was not one of them. They weren't rude but they were pretty much disinterested, not trying to make your experience pleasant so you would want to come back. Everything appeared clean enough. Would I come back? Maybe. I did get a $2 Sundae at the end, hot fudge on vanilla. The hot fudge had a good enough flavor but the texture of melted plastic. It was soft serve ice cream just about how I remembered it from many years ago. I haven't actually been to a Dairy Queen in years. I used to love the hard shell cone when I was a kid and even as an adult. Now I'm more appreciative of good quality ice cream and toppings. But if I come back I might get a hard shell covered cone just for old times sake. I took about half the ice cream and dropped it in my root beer and it was actually very good that way and made a not too overwhelming root beer float. read more

Ordered some Blizzards. They started off great, awesome DQ flavors! But then we got to the middle and realized they didn't mix the topping all the way through. Kind of lazy. Otherwise quick drive through and cheap price. They followed good quarantine hygiene by wearing masks and gloves. read more

Pretty nasty fare via delivery that was previously good on a prior trip in person at the location. The delivery person was great, but DQ packages the dogs upright in the bag and the contents dump into the bottom of the container. The fries were cold too.
