I never shopped there before I worked there because they had high prices and rotting food for sale, I won't go back after seeing the mismanaged food handling practices. I've been a chef for 25 years, it's the most mismanaged and sloppy kitchen I've been in.

If you are a Prime Amazon member you get great discounts. I am not Amazon member, so I don't get all the benefits of lower prices, however, will not join Amazon and will continue to shop there.

The staff was very helpful in explaining where to find items and getting me setup on their loyalty program. I purchased oat milk yogurt, some frozen meals, sour cream, coffee drinks, Lilly chocolate bars, Panera soups and Honest Green Tea all for $44! Another patron told me it's hit or miss but this visit was a hit for me! They have a little bit of everything you'd find at other grocery stores but at better prices.

So, we made our first visit to the Outlet in Southington today. The differences between the two locations were striking. Southington is much larger and seemed to have a greater variety of products. It was more like a mini supermarket complete with produce, frozen goods, refrigerated goods, and a dairy case. Another difference is their 50% off room, where all sorts of non- foods items were half price. We used to pick up coffees, teas, frozen goods, and boxes of cereal at the Canton store. Just like Canton was, you have to check the pricing carefully because pricing is a real mixed bag. The Outlet is lower on some items and quite a bit higher on other items when compared to supermarket prices. We did find a few good buys- two squares of frozen jalapeno cornbread and two mini packages of frozen chocolate chip pancakes. How does $1.16 sound for all four? Yes, I thought you'd be as pleased with that as we were.
