The Shakery is a cool "Mom & Pops" eater with a plethora of sweet treats. There is a place to stand and order outside, a drive thru, outside seating and indoor seating. You will see people of all ages. It's really nostalgic. The environment is nice & clean. Staff is friendly and I must say they did an excellent job for as busy as they were. There sweet treats vary from classic shakes to "blizzard-like" shakes, sundaes, specialty shakes, banana splits & slushies. I chose a peanut butter shake which was so creamy and full of peanut butter flavor. SO GOOD!!!!!! Perfect consistency for dipping my French fries in. Yea...I'm one of those lol. Scarlett chose a cherry slushie. You will get your sweet treats before your food. I ordered a hamburger and she got a kids grilled cheese and fries. The kids portion is a full size cheese sandwich btw. We enjoyed our time at the Shakery. The food is made to Order so don't expect drive-thru mentality. It's worth the wait I promise.

Wonderful ice cream wonderful customer service. i have never experienced a place quite like this…read moreone.. let me take you back to 7/11/25 around 5pm. there was a little redheaded girl, cute blonde, and lovely brunette working on this fine evening. i watched as the three of them teamed up to tackle my order as quick as they could. the little blonde girl hit the floor hard as she made my large swirl cone.. however.. she held that cone up high just to where i could see it. still standing. perfection. the brunette picked her up and threw her over her shoulder rushing to the window to serve me my cone. the little redhead even performed an interpretive dance for me for entertainment as i waited on my delight. i would tip each one $50 if i could afford it.. sadly i'm living out of my car right now. at my lowest point of my life, these 3 ladies have inspired me to keep pushing.

I lived in the tristate area until I was 25 years old but somehow missed out. During the first half of the football game I kept seeing fans walking back to their seats with a container that looked like it could be ice cream. Halftime arrived and my friend and I went to grab some snacks. There it was, the Austin's sales booth. They had several options to choose from such as butter pecan, vanilla and my choice, chocolate brownie. So glad I picked this one as it was delicious! The chocolate was smooth and creamy. And who can resist hunks of brownie? Not me;) If you are in the surrounding Ceredo area and you have not tried Austin's yet, get in your car and head on over. You will not be disappointed!

For the uninitiated, Gino's does the quintessential Appalachian pizza: thinner crust, sweet sauce, very greasy. It was served quickly and very hot. Very affordable, I got a "large" and with a drink the bill came to about $12 with the special they were running. Bathroom and inside is sort of run down. It doesn't bother me though. Here's hoping the gelato maker gets repaired, it's the only place in town you can buy gelato.
