My previous sprinkler company wanted to charge me over $3k to locate the underground damaged lines and repair everything. I called around to local companies and Diego was most responsive and came out same-day to get familiar with the system and problem. He understood the sense of urgency to fix the system and protect my landscaping investments, and was able to repair the system + add an additional sprinkler for ~$1200 (roughly 30% of what my prior company wanted to charge). I don't plan on working with any other company moving forward. Diego and HydroZeus have won my business for sprinkler maintenance, and I plan to work with them to update and add to my landscape lighting next! Huge thanks from a happy customer

All 20 of the arbors we ordered are growing and doing well so far, and they've grown between 6-12 inches only 3 months in. After a job well done, we called them back to install a blue stone chip firepit in our back yard. Sue is pretty helpful, showing us photos of three or four different options. The estimate was a little bit all over the place - we wound up having to negotiate a bit and took some items out to get a good value that we were overall very satisfied with. We'd recommend Bertog and would work with Sue again in the future. They can be a little slow to schedule, but they do try their best to be accommodating and they do very good work. We're overall very happy to have found them.

Construction has been a mess and they were just shut down by the City of Chicago with a Stop Work Order for failing to obtain the proper permits. When we did the walk-through, they let us know that it would be a 2 - 3 day project. It was finally complete after 33 days. To be fair, there were some really rainy days, but an inspector had to come out to our house 4 times. In the beginning, the communication was severely lacking. We ended up having to call them almost daily to get a progress report. Our front yard was torn up for SO long, it made us seem like the messy neighbors! And we didn't have any explanation as to why unless we contacted them!! Towards the end, they were MUCH better at communication, probably because we become the thorn in their side, calling each day. At the end of the project, I hoped they would give us some sort of discount for grossly underestimating the time it would take, but alas, they did not. They chose to argue with me which left me with a bad taste in my mouth instead of giving us a little bit of monetary compensation, which would have made things feel A LOT better than they did. In the end, our project looks nice! But it was not worth the hassle. Do your self a favor and DIY or hire a different company.
