I waited just as long as if I ordered in person. Either a park and pickup or a separate line for those that order ahead is needed to make this work. It's a flaw in the system. I emailed 7Brew immediately explaining what happened. They told me that I should try it right away next time and have it remade if it is wrong. That was the only solution they gave me. I asked for a refund, even a credit on the account on the app would have appeased me. Instead, they put the blame on me for not trying a hot drink the second I was handed it. Really disappointed in the corporate customer service. There are way too many other options than to give my business to a company that doesn't do the right thing.

The Timeline of Events: * Line Wait: 20 minutes just to place our separate orders at the counter (3 couples were ahead of us). * The Orders: Two paninis (which menus state come with chips) and one small latte. * The Initial Wait: After 25 minutes of waiting (45 minutes total in the shop), we had zero food and no coffee. We politely checked in with the pleasant dark-haired employee, who admitted our order had been forgotten. * The Final Food Wait: It took another 10 minutes to get the coffee and one panini. It took an additional 25 minutes--and another follow-up--just to get the second panini. Total food wait time: over an hour. The Atrocious Service: The blonde employee with glasses and a bun was shockingly hostile. While we waited, she loudly called a table of four girls a "bunch of alcoholics" simply for ordering two mimosa flights. She then barked at them to "come pick up their dam drinks" because she wasn't "paid enough to walk them over." When they rose to leave, she yelled at them that she was "NOT cleaning up after them" and demanded they wipe down their own table. They left with their tail between their legs, like they did something wrong. When we naturally grew concerned about our second missing panini and asked about it, she said she's busy. We said we understand and only want to know how much longer. Then she snapped at us in front of the whole restaurant: "Clearly you DON'T understand or you wouldn't keep asking me about your dam panini." Mind you, we had only asked once. The Aftermath: We ended up asking for the food to-go just to escape the abuse. They completely forgot our chips, and we had to ask for a menu just to prove they were included, resulting in a 5-minute wait for what turned out to be chip crumbs. We ended up chatting and laughing out of exasperation with the mimosa group outside, who were actively warning prospective customers away. They went back in and took a picture of this person for receipts. The most shocking part? When I got home and looked at Yelp, the person responding to reviews as the business owner looks very similar to the blonde worker who abused us. If the owner is the one back-talking paying customers and treating everyone like an interruption to her phone time, this business is in serious trouble. I'm not posting the picture of the blond girl in question out of privacy. It's a running joke now between my friend and I that wherever we meet up again in the future, it won't be as bad at the Eastside cafe. Completely rude, combative, and unacceptable. Never again. And the food was just mediocre.

(it was the BBQ Beef Mac and Cheese) and since I'm counting calories right now, how low of calories were in it After enjoying that and a few other frozen meals I decided to order some of the fresh meals from their meal plan that you pick up either on Sunday or Monday. The cool thing with them is it's not a subscription, I can buy however many meals I want, if I want to save some money, I can but 10 meals which makes each meal only $7.70 each. If I had a garage fridge you better bet I would take advantage of the 21+ meals for $6.85 a meal! I'm super excited I found this place and how affordable it is compared to factor and other similar services, not to mention how yummy the food has been so far! The pizzas they have there are AMAZING! If they have the Taco pizza make sure to grab one, or the buffalo chicken one. You can eat the whole thing and it fits within my macros! Also, hot tip, The taco pizza is especially amazing dipped in a bit of plain green yogurt and ortega taco sauce! It is honestly one of my current favorite meals, it also feels like a cheat meal, except it isn't! I had a new smoothie today and it was amazing, ask for a starberries and cream smoothie! What a TREAT!!!! I might just have to go back tomorrow and get another one when I pick up my meals for the week! The owner is very very nice and all of the people who work there are great. They always recognize me when I come in now, which is such a nice touch! This place is a no brainer if you are a busy person like me who wants to eat healthy! The only thing I haven't tried yet is a meal from their menu for dine in, but I plan to do that soon with some friends with Orange Theory after class :)

Daily Projects in Algonquin is one of my favorite local spots when I want good coffee and an actual breakfast to go with it. It has this upbeat, slightly hipster café vibe that reminds me of some of the neighborhood coffee shops you'd stumble into in NYC; modern and energetic without feeling pretentious. The food is legitimately good too. Their avocado toast is one of my favorites, and they have some excellent breakfast sandwiches and burritos when you want something a little more substantial. Everything I've had has tasted fresh and feels like more than the obligatory food menu you sometimes get at a coffee shop. The drink selection is a big part of the appeal. There are tons of gourmet coffee and tea options, so whether I'm looking for a straightforward cup of coffee or something a little more interesting, there's always plenty to choose from. Service has consistently been friendly and fast, even when there's a crowd. The staff keeps things moving while still being welcoming, which fits the whole energetic atmosphere of the place. Between the great coffee, surprisingly substantial breakfast options, friendly service, and that cool NYC-style café vibe, Daily Projects is an easy recommendation. I ordered a latte and a croissant. The croissant tasted stale. When I asked the guy at the counter if they were freshly made, he replied with a sarcastic "I'm pretty sure" remark and gave me a look as much as to say "Don't bother me". The latte was more than $5.00 and I did not tip. He had a very disgusted look on his face and his body language told me that I wasn't welcome. I wish I had gotten his name. He was wearing a black shirt and had blue streaks of color in his hair. He seemed very sarcastic overall. I'm not sure if he just had a problem with me or if that is how he is all the time. The blonde girl at the counter also seemed like she was upset. The place seems nice from the pictures and I'm surprised they have so many good reviews, but my experience was the opposite. Bad customer service. Did I mention the latte tasted below average. There have been other complaints about the croissants and I wish they would pay attention to what the customers are saying about their service. Anyways, my two bits. read more

Awesome city-style coffee shop out in the boondocks! This gem is out in Algonquin which I go out to for work from time to time. It's hands down the best place to work and drink coffee and even eat. Very clean, modern design with outlets at every table! Wifi is strong so you can get a lot of work done uninterrupted by poor connectivity. Coffee is good, the ham and cheese sandwich is awesome, I can't get enough of it. Sorry, it's not just a plain ham and cheese, it's very fancy I just don't remember all the ingredients :) Check this place out if you need a spot to work and get your joe! read more

The only drawback is that it can get sort of loud, and the environment feels a little cold sometimes (tall ceilings and not very comfortable chairs). Very Disappointing Service - Management Needs to Take Responsibility…read more I have been coming to this First Watch location for the past four months, and unfortunately, this is now the fourth time I have experienced terrible service. At this point, it is no longer an isolated incident--it appears to be an ongoing management problem. The servers are frequently inattentive, distracted, and fail to properly check on customers, even when the restaurant is not busy. After experiencing the same problems repeatedly, I believe General Manager Zak Paskvan needs to take responsibility for the way this location is being managed. What made the situation even worse was the way Zak handled customer feedback. When customers are explaining legitimate concerns about the service, a general manager should listen, communicate professionally, and try to resolve the problem--not be rude, dismissive, or give customers attitude. After seeing these issues continue for approximately four months, I do not believe Zak is effectively managing this location. In my opinion, First Watch corporate should seriously review his performance and consider replacing him as general manager. I enjoy First Watch, but this particular location needs immediate improvement in both customer service and management. Four bad experiences are more than enough.
