    Brunch menu.

When with some friends on a Sunday and was able to get a table right away. There was only one server, and she was working hard, so it took a while before she could come wait on us. The music was good and they had Martin playing on the tv, so we were entertained while we waited. The menu prices were pretty average for a brunch spot but the food was really good. I had the shrimp and grits which left me wanting more. We also ordered a bottle of champagne for mimosas and a hookah after we ate which was reasonably priced. This place was pretty good, I'll be returning.

The brunch was so good, I thought the vibes were nice, the dj played some good r&b and the drinks were good.

I am honestly blown away by the lack of reviews here. The Daily Menu offers a fun atmosphere and incredible menu. Visiting a friend, he had been itching to try this spot. It was well worth it. I ordered the salmon and spinach grilled cheese. I truly believe this was the best sandwich I've ever had. The bread was buttery and grilled to perfection. The salmon and spinach inside was nothing but gooey goodness. It was comfort food to the max and I loved every bite of it. We also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip as part of the happy hour deal. It was also delicious and the chips as pita crisps were a nice touch. For drinks, we also ordered from the happy hour menu. The Daily Paradise was the perfect blend of sweetness and rum/vodka. I would get it again. Daily Menu is a must stop if you are spending some time in Richmond. The food is great. The atmosphere is fun. It is a true gem.

    Build Your Own Mimosa

Such a lovely, low-key local restaurant. Came here today (April 17th) for Saturday brunch. Super casual, southern-welcome vibe. Although the restaurant is small, they do have two sides. They do not take reservations, so what we called ahead of time to check the wait time. Arriving around 12:30, they were not busy at all. We were seated right away for brunch. (There is a 90 min dining time I guess for when they are busy) I am not in Richmond often so I do not know what a typical brunch is like, but I will say my group of 5 ladies were satisfied. We ordered hookah, build your own mimosas, and their various brunch entrees. We truly enjoyed everything for about $50 per person.

If you visit downtown Richmond pop in for a specialty cocktail or a delicious meal ( Brunch & Mimosa options here as well) They hosted an event for the EastEnd Champions for players, coaches, parents and family. Live DJ and buffet. It looks small from the outside but has two sides with bars on each and a outside patio if you prefer to dine in fresh air. This is not a place I would bring the kids more of an "adult" atmosphere. So leave the kiddies at home and come and have a good time! Good Vibes, Great Good, Specialty Cocktails, Friendly Staff... just be patient with staff this establishment is a popular spot with high volume but the wait is worth it!

Visited this place on a Wednesday night. It was pretty quiet and not busy. We ordered our food and a couple drinks from the happy hour menu. The drinks were really good. Not strong but good. Pro-tip try pineapple mule with mango (AMAZING). The food came out fairly quickly. The chips for the spinach dip was very crisp and so so good. I almost wanted to just order the chips. The entrees came out not too far after. I ordered the honey hot wings. They were fried hard and not too spicy. The sauce was perfect. The fries were good as well. My friends ordered the chicken sandwiches and shared good feedback. My only complaint was my drink took a bit longer to come out because they didn't have the normal bartender on staff. It was fine tho bc we weren't in a rush. There was street parking. They also sell hookah if you're interested in that.

Came here for brunch with some of my girls and really enjoyed the food. It is definitely small and intimate inside but the food is very good! The breakfast croissant and chicken wings were very tasty. We decided to do the Build Your Own Mimosa and that was enough for our table (party of 5). The hostess and our waitress were super hospitable and accommodating. We also had the hookah which was nice and smooth. They also offer a variety of flavors! I recommend Berry and mint mixed. I would come back for the food! The only "Con" is the amount of space in the establishment but other than that it was a really nice and enjoyable experience. Everyone enjoyed their food! Some of the other dishes that our party had were : -catfish shrimp and grits -top of the morning platter -jerk chicken and waffles -chicken and waffles with a strawberries and creme waffle

Everything we ordered was delicious. We had the buffalo shrimp, collard green crab dip, fried okra, two cheeseburger kids meals, and the creole pasta, and every dish was flavorful and satisfying. The only challenge was trying to enjoy such a beautiful meal while managing our two hungry babies, but even that couldn't take away from the experience. My husband ordered the "Kitchen Stink" drink, which was way too strong for me, so I kept it simple with a champagne while relaxing and enjoying watching my husband and kids eat, listen to the music, and have a great time together.

Let's start with the positives -- the place is beautiful and clearly a well-chosen venue for a special occasion. Now, the food and service left a lot to be desired. My cousin's hamburger arrived completely plain -- no condiments whatsoever. She had to ask for mayo, ketchup, and other basics. There was also no salt and pepper on the table, so she requested it from a staff member who did not seem pleased and brought it over turned away from us with his hand covering the tops of the shakers -- not exactly a warm or sanitary impression. My husband and I both ordered the catfish. When his tartar sauce arrived (something he had to specifically request), he -- a former Navy cook -- was skeptical enough to ask if it was actually tartar sauce. That says a lot. My mac and cheese side was completely bland and flavorless. My husband also mentioned his lemonade tasted like straight syrup and had to dilute it with water. We also noticed in other reviews that cornbread is brought to the table -- we were never offered any. Sadly, about 12 hours later, both my husband and I are experiencing serious stomach issues. The restaurant is gorgeous and I wanted to love it, but between the bland food, the inattentive and at times unwelcoming service, and now feeling ill -- I don't think we'll be returning.

BRING YOUR WALLETS AND STRETCHY PANTS!…read more We went as a corporate outing group of 5. The front door is a little tight cause as a popular spot there's a bunch of foot traffic. The lady at the front door was a bit staticky but she got us sat fairly quickly so we could deal with that. Vibes are all wooden, but not creaky. Could be a cool date spot, it was very casual so we were able to be a bit boisterous. Good place to chat and blend in. Service was great and friendly and attentive. The waitress we had always made sure our cups were full and we had napkins and what we needed. We didn't get any alcohol, I got an Arnold Palmer, the wife got a midtown. They were both pretty good, I don't know what the difference was but they slapped. Free refills on sweet tea was dope too! The food came out pretty fast for the portions and quality. The wings are a must get, get the large and if you don't finish air fry them back home (reheat is good) (I would get sauce on the side, we did buffalo). We got like a desert style cornbread with syrup and powdered sugar, not normally my jams but totally delicious (my coworker ordered, I am not into sweets; still 10/10). I had 2 buffalo shrimp and they were also good, I didn't get a flick but that's a safe pick. The mains are pricey (typical soul food prices) but fire!!! Portions were good but the quality of goods and meat are awesome. I eat at a lot of places, the quality was really high here so I think the price tag was fair. My wife got the catfish, I got the stuffed salmon. For our sides we got the greens, cabbage, and the Mac & cheese. I had a couple of things I personally like that I feel would have enhanced the meal but the overall outlook is that this is the place to go. The greens were salty as heck and didn't have like a turkey neck or smoked anything in it, could be a regional preference but that was missing for me. The cabbage was also cooked really well and didn't require much but had no sparkle. Great texture but the flavor wasn't there, I'm also Caribbean so maybe what I like is different, the crunch with a kick would have gone far and maybe some salt from the greens in there. The Mac and cheese was good, I like a creamier one but this will suffice tbh. Overall I'm going to give them a 8.9/10. I could have gotten the wrong things or went on an off day but they certainly delivered and the service was GREAT. I would deff revisit, it's got a lot of charm and personality. The staff were amicable and the bathrooms were clean. I would recommend this spot if you're visiting Richmond!

Our server, LENA was very helpful and friendly. She made sure we knew what was what. She was Awesome. Okay now this FOOD! So much food and everything hot and fresh. You'll be tempted to order an appetizer. I observed the portions and decided I couldn't eat all that... in a week. Definitely getting the fried oysters next time though. The "Fish Boat" comes with 2, 3 or 4 pieces of whiting. It's fried and the onion and pepper "sauce" is a mustardy, vinegar concoction that compliments the fish perfectly. You have your choice of two sides. Typical southern specialties. Collard greens (no pork added) were delicious, with a little kick; Candied Yams and a BRICK OF CORNBREAD. Light, soft sweet cornbread... my goodness. I don't think I can do this food the proper justice it deserves in this review. The chicken strips; the Alfredo were just as good. Even their version of an Arnold Palmer, (The Uptown) was done right. It's worth the drive and definitely worth the calories. If you love southern food, seafood with an ample serving of back in the day hospitality, (it's on the PLATE) stop by and come hungry. My family said it tasted like Thanksgiving.
