She is very knowledgeable on nutrition and fitness. I had not worked out, lets say my entire life!!! Much less worked with a trainer, so I was a little skeptic before training with Jessica. It was the best thing that I could have done! Jessica makes you feel very comfortable and is very supportive. She customized a meal plan for me that not only helped me lose weight, but I was also very energized, not lethargic or feeling starved like most diets. I recommend Jessica as a trainer to anyone who wants to feel better, physically and mentally. Bit of a learning curve with the first couple sessions, but once you get the hang of the tempo and language ("Push", "All Out", etc), it's fun and easy to understand. I have 3 herniated discs so I have to be careful with certain exercises, but the coaches are always willing to give you a modified version on the strength floor, or you can just do one on your own. For the treadmill portion, they have both runner/jogger and power walking options. The coaches (and their playlists!) are motivating and the front desk staff are friendly and always helpful. When you sign up, it is clearly stated on the T&C's that you will be charged for missed classes that you signed up for; that you will not be able to participate in a session if you show up more than five minutes late, etc., so I don't understand some of the negative reviews. Emergencies happen, which is why I wait to book a class on the app (easy to use) right before leaving the house or even after I get to the parking lot and have never had an issue getting in.

Duo Houston I took me a while to get to the right page, I…read morewas looking for Duo Houston, but Yelp called it Duo- Autry Park , based on the area. I had no idea it is actually a chain....with literally only two branches as of 2026 in Houston, one being Autry Park and the other in River Oaks. I didn't know when I stopped by, but I read online that it is Pilates, fitness, and Specialty Coffee place, all under the same roof. Made a quick stop for coffee as I was in the area for an event. It's pretty posh. Parking is bit of a problem though. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. Outside, it is pet friendly too. Just got a quick cold coffee, and had to hurry out. But though it was pretty early on a Sunday, there was a huge crowd and it kept flowing in. So it is a popular spot in the neighborhood. There are lots of pastries and some savories to choose from.

The static fit yoga class at Duo Houston with Lesbianland was such a good time. It was outside, the weather cooperated, and the energy was just right. A whole crowd of beautiful women, good music, and a space that felt safe, calm, and fun all at the same time. Morgan Brown led the class and really set the tone. It felt grounding but still had a little spice to it, not boring at all. After class, they had matcha and acai bowls and gave us 15% off, which I love because who doesn't want a little reward after pretending you can plank longer than you actually can. Speaking of... they had a planking contest and somebody held it for over five minutes. I tapped out mentally just watching. Only thing to note, if you want coffee you'll need to walk over to a nearby shop in Autry Park, but it's super close so no complaints there. Overall, great vibes, great people, and definitely a space I'd come back to.
