I remember when this market first opened (during my college years). Though many years have passed,…read moresome things never changed while others did. Produce, meat and fish are still fairly cheap. They always had a good assortment of Asian vegetables (yu choy, gailan, bitter gourd, ect) and still do. Never bought meat or fish (never indicated source, farm raised vs wild caught, antibiotic or hormone free, ect) so I continued to pass on buying these items. They also have an array of Asian goods (mostly Chinese) like frozen meals, canned products, medicine and cookware. They used to have a bubble tea kiosk, that has changed. It was shut down a long time ago, but the signage with the prices still exist. Can't believe small cup of tea was under $3 and a large was under $4 (will mostly likely never see these prices again). Sadly, overall cleanliness declined over the years. Stores like Whole Foods put effort maintaining equipment, overall appearance and clean standards, so older outposts seem sparkling and orderly. Here, it's the opposite (displays that are not clean, dinged and scuffed floors, freezers with condensation buildup, ect). Will still come here once in a while for the fresh veggies and Asian goods.

Yelp usually doesn't steer me wrong and didn't this time either. The restaurant is located in a…read morevery unprepossessing strip mall in Parsippany, but inside it is nicely decorated and clearly is very popular. We were greeted ebulliently by the very nice server, and the service was great throughout the meal, with two servers and the chef or manager (both?) checking on us. There is an extensive menu, from which I chose the Jersey Carbonara and my dining partner had the Shrimp and Pancetta Risotto. Both entrees were delicious and filling, The restaurant bakes delicious bread, which is light and fluffy and somehow tastes vaguely cheesy also. We rounded off our meal with what I hope was a decaf capuccino--one of the smoothest coffee drinks I've had the pleasure to sample--and a truffle with two kinds of ice cream and a little jujube inside. 10/10 would eat there again.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a cozy date night. It's also BYOB, which is a great bonus and makes the experience even better. I ordered the lobster ravioli, which was very tasty and full of flavor. That said, the portion was on the smaller side for the price. What really elevated the night, though, was the dessert menu everything we tried was delicious and ended the meal on a high note. Overall, it's a charming spot with great service, solid food, and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a relaxed Italian dinner with a date-night vibe.

ShopRite Parsippany is a solid grocery choice for me. You can truly find anything you need here,…read morefrom prepared foods and a huge bakery to a massive liquor section. The renovated layout is a definite improvement, making it easy to navigate the spacious aisles. It's especially great for those big pre-holiday trips when you need a wide variety of items. It is a convenient option for most grocery needs, especially if you're not picky about produce or using the pickup service. Needed to grab a few things for dinner, and the holiday weekend. The staff is very helpful, plenty of parking. The prices are average, but they do have excellent sales!

The last time I shopped here I was falsely accused of shoplifting while using self checkout by the self checkout attendant (Samir) even though I paid for the item! The whole experience was humiliating and awful to the point I will never return back to this store! The way I was approached by the self checkout attendant and treated like a criminal in front of other customers was disgusting and straight up disrespectful! I've been a loyal customer of this particular location for years however this incident has made me seriously question whether I feel safe or welcome to shop here anymore. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and this experience was the exact opposite of that. I hope ShopRite takes this kind of situation seriously and implements better training and protocols to ensure no one else has to go through what I did.

What an unassumingly great establishment for casual dim sum and traditional chinese…read more I love noodle lee/ noodle wong for that reason: that it is absolutely simple, clean and well done. I came here on a sunday for the dim sum abd it was quiet, but if you place an order in it comes out fresh. The shrimp rice rolls are soft and succulent, the shrimp being very large. Served with soy vinegar sauce. My favorite is the shrimp shumai, full of shrimp and no BS filler. The shrimp dumpling is my third favorite and the fried shrimp ball being my least. Ordered chinese broccoli on the side, very well done. And of course, we always have hot tea on standby pairs well to wash down all the salt. But my absolute favorite is their salt pepper shrimp, light fry coating . The servers are very attentive and quick to place your order. I love this place for a local dim sum and their variety shrimp options. Noodle Lee/Wong is a

Dinner here was really good overall and a solid experience from start to finish…read more I went with the sesame chicken and steamed white rice, which was exactly what I wanted. I also tried pork buns for the first time. It was not really my favorite, but it was still flavorful. My friend had the steamed sea bass, which was cooked perfectly and came with a really nice, tasty sauce. Service was excellent. Our waitress was very sweet, patient, and attentive, offering recommendations and explaining the menu without being overbearing. They start you off with Chinese tea and a small plate of peanuts, which is a nice touch--but if you have a peanut allergy, make sure to let them know right away since it's placed on the table automatically. The meal ends with fresh cantaloupe, which was ice cold, sweet, and a refreshing finish. The restaurant itself is a nice size with reasonable prices. We went on a Saturday night and there was no wait. It could use a bit of sprucing up, but it was clean and comfortable. Parking is easy, and the restaurant sits right on Route 46, so it's not hard to find at all. They accept all major credit cards and cash.

So…read morewhen I found Qin Dynasty in North Jersey, I was willing to make the trek - especially since I had a dim sum craving one weekend. We got there at around 11 on a Saturday. It was crowded but not packed yet. We were seated right away (your whole party needs to be there). There are so many options for dim sum - some that you don't even typically see in Brooklyn/Chinatown. For example, I saw some lobster tails, and a giant cheesy oyster that looked really good but I'm sure they were $$$. We stuck to the dim sum basics - ha gao, shumai, beef churng fun, chicken feet, chicken sticky rice, steamed cha siu baos, and tofu pudding. I don't have any complaints about the dim sum. All were good and some were even better than ones in NYC. And let me tell you - they do not skimp on the meat here. The ha gaos and shumais were so plump! Since it's a rarity that we get to have authentic Chinese food, we also ordered the salted fish and diced chicken fried rice, and the pan-fried noodles with beef. Both were good and had lots of meat. Service was surprisingly attentive - unlike in NYC where it takes forever to flag down a waiter. Our waiter was always nearby and seemed happy to help with our requests of water, chili oil, etc. I think we might have found our go-to Cantonese restaurant. It's just a shame it isn't closer to home.
