Freshly sliced mangoes, a nice selection of raw nuts, lovely floral selection. A great way to get a healthy fix in the area. Thank you!

Went to buy a sloppy joe. It was disgusting. The rye bread was dry and totally stale. It was disgraceful they would use bread like this. The sloppy joe itself was only 2 slices of bread, whereas anywhere else you get one, the norm is always 3 slices of bread. Save your money and time and buy your sloppy joe elsewhere! read more

Good - it used to be good with fresh fruit and veggies at reasonable prices. Bad - no longer as good. For example- black plums, 'made in USA" stickers on them, way past their prime, and Squishy, at $4/#. And there's a lot more. Are there new owners? If so, get with the program or think about selling. read more

How can you own a business and has no one to answer phone? You give extensions to dial and then hang up when they are dialed

I stopped by here one night this week to pick up a sandwich for dinner. I had been to the produce side many times, but this was the first time at the deli. I ordered a Turkey Sloppy Joe which was probably not the best idea for the first time here. I was expecting the typical 3 slice of bread SJ, but this was served as a long sub. While it was different, it was still very good. They use Boars Head cold cuts so the turkey was good quality. The sandwich was also huge! I'll be back and next time I'll try The Italian! read more

Ledgewood Farm - Sandwich time! - Grocery Near Me - Ledgewood, New Jersey

What a difference a year makes. Ledgewood Farm Store used to be the go-to location for fresh, good looking & tasting vegetables, fruit and a few other staples. Prices were sometimes a little higher than the local grocery stores, but the quality made up for it. Fast forward to now. Prices have increased while quality has significantly declined. Prior to the change in management in 2024, the store carried both common & some less common fruits & vegetables. It gave the opportunity to try new varieties. Now, it's all standard fare, nothing special. I bought lemons the other day. Very small and pretty sad looking at a cost of 6/$3. The next day I went to ShopRite and found, for the same price, larger and better looking citrus. At this point, Ledgewood Farm Store has seen me for the last time. Their focus is NOT on making the customer happy, but in increasing costs while sacrificing quality. Bye Bye, LFS. read more

Very clean, a big selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, and nuts. I love the prepared foods section, the fresh fish market, and it's my favorite place to get sushi too. read more

Food is fresh and staff friendly and pleasant!!! Every single time I go to Ledgewood Farms I come away happy that I went there instead of one of the big box stores read more

I haven't seen many people comment on the actual grocery aisle. Unfortunately, majority of their veggies and fruits are more expensive than Walmart brand. Ive definitely been to other farmers markets with great prices and fresh produce. I've purchased many fruits from the store and they managed to go fully sour after three days. Once spoke with the owner and he suggested eating your fruits immediately when you go home (which does not sound like the best response to having just old produce for sale). I personally purchase groceries that could hopefully last me for two weeks so very inconvenient. I want to love this spot but they definitely need a rebrand read more

Getting a one star review due to the nasty Spanish lady at the first register not sure what her name was. We were returning something that was not any good and the nasty lady. Did not handle the situation in a nice way we had to get the owner to come out. read more

Great sandwich , produce is a lot better cleaner. Cashiers are friendly. Decent prices

Find fresh fish and produce there all the time. My husband likes their sushi and I like their roasted veggies. Try Ledgewood Farms, I think you'll like it. read more

Fresh produce. Nice variety. Prices are usually better than ShopRite. I took a star away because the cashiers treat their customers as though you're annoying to them. All other staff is wonderful and helpful. read more

This is my go to spot in the area for produce. The price and quality are better than ShopRite. The left side of the store is a deli that includes fresh fish and sushi in addition to the deli. The sandwiches are large for the price and they use Boars Head brand. There are chicken breast and salads also. I eat the sushi frequently for lunch and it is always fresh. You can order a special roll to be made while you wait. There is a section where you. An buy flowers. The price for flowers is reasonable and the quality seems good. read more

I purchase from this store often for its fresh and low cost items. However, today I bought something that smells like it's gone bad. It's either the collard greens or romaine lettuce. Also when looking for fresh ginger I found some of it soggy. I'm so disappointed and considering not visiting this establishment again. I do agree with other reviewers that the cashiers are rude. read more

I go here because they have a good fresh fish counter with a good selection and probably the most reasonable prices around. The guys behind that counter are very helpful and friendly. Ledgewood Farm was recommended by a business associate who grew up near the store. read more

Excellent selection, fish and produce always fresh, deli sandwiches are the best hands down, and prepared foods and salads are great. People who work there, especially the fish and deli are very friendly and fast, they get your order done really fast and never skimp. Highly recommend. read more

Great place..fresh farm foods, and so much more....Much cheaper than ShopRite...and fresher...and they have milk eggs and more...right behind CVS.. covenant..and more.... read more

Some nice ethnic foods you can not find elsewhere. Better fish than the supermarket. Have some healthy salads. They have a problem with their quinoa salad. Tends to be sold old and gets slimy. Last time I only purchased because the server said it was made that morning. Still slimy. Apparently they mix the old leftover salad with the newly made salad. These people are not trained in food safety. This salad should be made less moist, what is called a lower water activity. read more

This sushi guy is THE $#!+!!! Makes me smile every time. Super enthusiastic. Will make your sushi to your liking and have you grinning while you wait. Always a plethora of options already made too. Rest of staff here is great too. Beat local market in my opinion. read more

Stay away if you're looking for a quality deli sandwich with premium meats. They advertise Boar's Head products all over the place, including their sandwich menu board. If you buy cold cuts by the pound, you're ok. But if you go there for a sandwich, they pull the old switcharoo on you and make your sandwich with the cheap meats they have on the side. This happened more than once, I'm done. read more

Found this gem on Easter Sunday. Most everything else was closed. Will absolutely be giving them more of my business in the future. Staff was very friendly, attentive and price point was fantastic!! read more

Food is awesome. Unfortunately 5pm on a sat you can not get any fresh fish. Even though the store is open till 8pm. Doesn't make sense to me. If the store is open till 8. Why can't an employee clean fish ? So I've gone elsewhere. read more

This market has the best selection of produce I have seen around! Everything is fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful.

A wide variety of beautiful produce, sushi, packaged and prepared foods but the staff sucks! Deli counter staff is inattentive and unfriendly -- and the girls at the registers are just downright grumpy! read more

Love this place staff is so friendly and the fruit is very fresh. Great prices. They have the best sushi around and it's made right in front of you. When walk in everyone says hello and welcome you. Very happy place. read more

Fruits are reasonably priced. The bread products are so-so.

Ledgewood farms is great. Tons of fresh produce, reasonably priced, and amazing sushi. I've been going here for years, and the old man who used to make sushi used to chuckle at me, just because I went there so often for the Firecracker sushi roll. He's no longer working there as far as I can tell, but this sushi is still legit. And I'm a bit of a foodie, I've been to sushi places all over the tri state area. Sushi Samba, Sushi Lounge, no one can touch this place. Even if you buy the packaged, premade sushi it's awesome. And I think after 6pm, the premade sushi goes on sale 20-30%. What more could you ask for? read more

In an area not known for nutrition and wellness, this is a pleasant addition. The Ledgewood Farm Grocers Market has fresh seafood, fruits, vegetables, teas, nuts, spices, soups and so much more. Without a doubt some of the best prices in the area. You can shop for just one meal or for the whole family. The produce is circulated quickly and stays fresh. A nice way to eat right. read more

Stop closing the door before closing, I hate that!!! I walked in before closing and the people at the register so ruddily kicked me out. read more

This is my goto store for fresh fruits and vegetables at a good price. Bananas, avocados, peppers and lettuce especially. The deli counter service is excellent - always friendly and actually execute my orders as requested. There is a large fish display. And they also have items such as milk, eggs and various other imported sauces and good from other areas and countries. Even their flower area offers value. This store is definitely worth a visit. read more

The best place in the area for fresh produce and reasonable prices. The deli and sushi bar are a nice convenience as well. I buy all our fresh flowers as well. Good selection. Prices slightly better than a florist. read more

The produce is certainly not as fresh as they make you think. I've had plenty turn moldy after a day or two. So, I only buy if I'm going to use same day. They always say the fish just came in the same day. Hah! I was looking at some red snapper last week and it definitely was not fresh... Cloudy eyes and slightly fishy smell. It gets worse: they just were investigated for credit card fraud. I personally had two credit cards hacked and my wife had one card number stolen by some thief at the store. I know this because American Express traced it back to this place. Agree with reviewers about the grumpy owners and nasty cashiers. I've tried to make small talk with them and rarely do they smile. But, they are good at mumbling under their breath lol. On the plus side, their limes and cilantro are decent! read more

The produce is high quality and the prices are amazing, HOWEVER, on more than one occasion I've had the cashiers rudely toss my groceries in the bags. Today it happened with peaches that are now bruised. I'd like to say this rarely happens but it's actually rare to have my purchases not handled roughly. It makes me not want to shop here anymore read more

Been coming here for quite some time notice some areas that need attention paid to it. Deli area without a doubt needs more help, I was in there today and they were two guys making sandwiches for a customer and you had five people waiting online to be helped. As an owner of a business myself if I were the owner of Ledgewood farms I would dedicate a sandwich maker that only deals with making sandwiches for the customers, so while the other people can be helped on line read more

I do not care how convenient this market is I will never go back@ somebody explain to me how the cashiers can be so rude and dismissive?? Is it a language barrier or ignorance or just blatant rudeness. They all look like the customers are bothering them..you owner need to get a handle on your staff my friend. I'll go to shoprite and stand in line. read more

The fruits and vegatables are reasonably priced. However, need to consume the a few days after purchase as they tend to go bad soon after that. The cashiers are rude and unfriendly to customers. Only go here now when I need somthing I will use for dinner that evening. read more

Ledgewood Farm is a supermarket-sized portion of a row of stores. This store is divided into two sections, one section selling fruits and vegetables and another section, behind a wall, selling meat and seafood. I shopped in the former section and avoided the latter because the fish odor was overwhelming. They have a good variety of fruit at reasonable prices. At checkout time, the cashier was efficient but laconic. read more

This store has produce that goes bad within 2 days!! Although much cheaper than shoprite its notworth it. I purchase strawberries they were badd in 2 days I went to take them back and they wou not credit me. The girls behind the registers were rude unprofessional and slammed a bucket of strawberries back at me. The owner of the store was not available to speak to so I will be going in there again. The girl at the register cursed at me very very unprofessional disturbing and they should be closed down for having disgusting customer service. read more

Very good, Except for the red swastika in the parking lot. I had called the police about removing it and was told , that is the owner's responsibility ! (Unbelievable) I went inside the store and showed the manager what had to be removed and for some reason they didn't know what is was!? (Seriously) I had asked them for the # of the owner of the parking lot! I had left a message about the matter. I will not be back till it's removed!!! My next step is to call the news. What a shame in such a nice area!!! Update: after getting in touch with the owner of the parking lot, the Swastika will be removed immediately. I would like to Thank her for taking this Seriously! I was also told this was the first she was hearing about it. (Strange how no one noticed it?) p.s. she contacted me within 24 hours of calling her! Thanks again!!! read more
