They charge everyone differently. Don't go here. Keep driving 30 seconds down the road and go to rockmart instead.

Prices were sometimes a little higher than the local grocery stores, but the quality made up for it. Fast forward to now. Prices have increased while quality has significantly declined. Prior to the change in management in 2024, the store carried both common & some less common fruits & vegetables. It gave the opportunity to try new varieties. Now, it's all standard fare, nothing special. I bought lemons the other day. Very small and pretty sad looking at a cost of 6/$3. The next day I went to ShopRite and found, for the same price, larger and better looking citrus. At this point, Ledgewood Farm Store has seen me for the last time. Their focus is NOT on making the customer happy, but in increasing costs while sacrificing quality. Bye Bye, LFS.

I ordered a Turkey Sloppy Joe which was probably not the best idea for the first time here. I was expecting the typical 3 slice of bread SJ, but this was served as a long sub. While it was different, it was still very good. They use Boars Head cold cuts so the turkey was good quality. The sandwich was also huge! I'll be back and next time I'll try The Italian!

Having lived in New England the last decade or so, I was so tired of living in the "sandwich desert." Knowing I could go anywhere in the area for dinner, I was craving a NJ deli. This was terrific. Service was great. The place is old-school convenience-style, clearly serving the marina. It's located perfectly. It was clean-ish/maybe...but what I was after was the food. I got a really good, and BIG Taylor ham, egg, and cheese with S/P/K. I figured it would be my appetizer (as they're typically a polite 3-bite size). This was delicious and substantial. The only thing keeping it from perfect was the ketchup was oddly tasteless. Typically the sweetness of the Heinz balances the salty of the cheese and Taylor ham. This may have been less than Heinz brand and was tasteless. For the main event, I got their Italian Sub. Add hot peppers. Holy cow! GIGANTIC AND REALLY FRESH AND TASTY!!! All of this was way more than I imagined and made me so happy to be back in the 973. Really great find by me (lucky). If this is lesser-known, go and tell everyone you know. If I'm the last to know, then you are all one step ahead! Taylor Ham was $8. Fantastic deal. Italian sub was $15. Could easily feed 2. I'll be back.

This one ended up being 2.55 lbs or something like that once it was weighed...insanity. Ham, Salami, Pepperoni, Capricola, and Proscuitto for the meats and then provolone, LTO, oil+vin, and banana peppers all on a freshly baked roll that's delivered daily. This thing was huge and tasty. Somewhere in the ballpark of $12-$13 too...whatttt? Also had to grab another "Jersey Meat" egg and cheese for my buddy Eric from Cultinary Road Trip who was making his first visit here. I like him so much I even told Bob (the owner of E&T) to toss a hash brown on that bad boy. Great spot, reasonable prices, nice view of the lake across the street. E&T ... once again ... Didn't Suck! *video is up on socials*

In particular, we like their seafood sales and load up on crab legs, fresh oysters, and lobster tails. The seafood counter always has regular and reliable service. The bakery is often hit or miss on prompt service. The overall store is on par with your standard ShopRite. There are some bigger and better ShopRite stores in the area, but our loyalty is bolstered by convenience and overall satisfaction with getting what we need. If there is a gripe, I've rarely ever used the standard checkout lines and opted for self checkout due to limited availability of cashiers and long lines. The self service is always way quicker and the workers covering the self service lines are always pleasant and willing to help quickly.

When they ring us up, they have always defaulted to organic, even when it's not organic. One employee stated he didn't even know that they carried non-organic items. Also, today, they charged us for large avocados, even though they were puny. We had to go back. Then they messed up the refund, and didn't give us the Prime discount. So they had to ring it again. The deli had a young man working there that used to be the only one who would follow our instructions on how we wanted our deli meat. Now, we get people who shave the meat a bit and then proceed to do whatever they want, even when it's not busy. During the period of COVID where masks were mandated. I witnessed multiple employees stocking shelves with their masks worn as gags. The meat department people are fantastic. They always do a great job. They answer questions and let you choose whatever piece you want. I want to suggest making the meat Manager the store manager. I'm giving this 2 stars because the meat department deserves 5 stars for service. And also because my parents didn't have grocery stores like this in their country, so I suppose I should be grateful. But my heart still tells me ZERO stars when it comes time to think about them ringing up my items.
