Pictures from two different visits for reference. Overall a great location to eat. The price is pretty much what you'd expect for both lunch & dinner. I believe 8.99 & 14.99 before drinks but don't quote me. The food was usually very fresh and had a great variety. I never had a problem with cleanliness so I was happy to go back. The bathroom can use work since the stalls were broken but not a deal breaker. Staff was attentive and polite. Sushi variety was good, soups well made & the food was great. Con: the hibachi was never open and if it was open no one was ever present to attend it but was included in the pricing. read more

Food was pretty good but I think I got food poisoning from eating here. Currently dealing with a fever and stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea and I ate there 3-4 days ago. read more

The worse food I've ever ate. Half of Watertowns homeless eats there and the food shows.

Food was okay, but me and my wife definitely got food poisoning from here since we are currently tag teaming the bathroom and vomiting after eating here, so eat cautiously lol. read more

Two stars for visuals....obese country folks from the hinterlands who stuff themselves silly are plentiful here. Its quite a sight at the Daily Buffet... folks who forego the fruit and sushi for fat bombs like sweet n sour chicken, general tso, chicken wings, and egg rolls. The North Country is full of unhealthy people...here is ground zero for it. The food is usually lukewarm to cold... the sushi is fine as is the hot n sour soup. read more

Surprisingly good quality, variety, and value for a buffet! Favorites include their salt and pepper shrimp, barbecue pork skewers, seafood bake, sweet shumai, sautéed mushrooms, and more! read more

I would give a 0 if I could. By far the nastiest buffet I have ever been too! The meat tasted old and rotten. Even the noodles were disgusting. Do not eat there! read more

You get what you pay for. Saturday lunch was approx $9 per person including a fountain drink. Without the drink its approx. $8. Some of the food items were hits and misses. They have limited options for sushi (3-4 varieties) and a hibachi grill which was unattended but the chef will come at request. Table service was quick and attentive. My favorite items were the string beans (fresh, flavorful and had a nice crunch), mini scallops inside a shell, chinese donuts, butter potatoes and cream cheese sushi. Did not like most of the meats as the dishes we tried were not tender. The red velvet cake was meh but the ice cream bar was good. For the inexpensive price, its not a bad deal. read more

Decided to go for lunch after my appointment. They just opened. The food was cold. You would think that since they just opened the food would be hot and fresh. Nope. Definitely won't be back. read more

Pretty good as far as Chinese buffets go, and priced affordably. Off the top of my head I think it's under $14 including a drink. I have a few favorite items I usually stick to and they're mostly consistently good as long as you don't go at an off time where the food isn't being refreshed often. Hot & sour soup is one of my favorites here - I admittedly haven't had it at many other places to compare, but it's tasty and a little spicy and I always get it here. Sushi rolls are basic but a nice option. Not the most nicely decorated restaurant, but that's not what I'm there for. Take out boxes are a nice option if you want to take your food home instead. Took off one star only because I feel it could be kept a bit cleaner, but I've never had any issues with the food for the many years I've been coming here. read more

Daily Buffet - Garlic green beans, chicken & broccoli, walnut chicken, egg roll, spring roll, rice noodles - Buffets Near Me - Watertown, New York

Service was quite good, they talked a bit fast and so I couldn't look at the menu off to the side. The food was amazing especially the honey chicken (which was so good I got a whole plate full) some of the foods weren't the best like the cream puffs had barely any of the cream in them and the vegetable lomein was a bit ehh (but both were still good) the salad bar was a bit less than standard with not that many ingredients (but still really good) and finally, the ambiance, it was absolutely splendiferous! Over by a wall there was a rocky waterfall display that added a very nice sound to the whole place and at the front counter there was some cool trinkets like a spinny water thingamajiggy and some other cool stuff. Overall 4.33ish/5 Food 4.5/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 5/5 read more

Basic china buffet. Sunday at 2pm still a few fresh items out. Don't expect anything fancy. I was happy. read more

Daily Buffet - a plate of food with a fork and knife - Buffets Near Me - Watertown, New York

To be honest, I don't ever expect much from AYCE buffets. I mean really, people cannot expect unlimited food at a low price to be the highest flavor and quality. That's just unreasonable. For the price and massive selection, I think Daily Buffet is awesome! AND the price includes unlimited fountain drinks. Usually, that's where buffets can get you is you pay extra for drinks. Being Chinese and coming from Los Angeles, I think it's a great deal and the food is tasty! read more

The delivery was fast and the delivery driver was patient because my hubby is slow. The food is fresh and the wings taste homemade .. I will be ordering the wings again, and my hubby loved the orange chicken. If you're in the Evan Mill area try this spot you will be pleased. read more

solid chinese buffet experience! i hadn't been to a buffet in probably a decade and i wasn't disappointed. the options were pretty good and i really enjoyed the overwhelming majority of everything i ate... and i tried almost everything. the price point is fair for the value, so all in all it's worth a stop! read more

Great selection of food to choose from! Nothing tasted fantastic, yet nothing was bad. Great choice for a low cost stomach fill for less than $10 a person. Daily Buffet is an All-You-Can-Eat Chinese Restaurant and the experience and atmosphere you get here is very authentic. They take additional precautions for COVID and required face coverings. read more

Daily Buffet - Buttered Butter mushroom, Baked cheese crabmeat, hot and spicy chicken, chicken. - Buffets Near Me - Watertown, New York

My rule for buffets: eat between 11:30 and1:30, preferably 12-1. Overall Daily Buffet is pretty good inside this window of opportunity! They had a *very* wide selection of the traditional and typical of Chinese food is available, along with a good selection of appetizers (wontons, potstickers, etc.), sushi bar, and even American foods such as mac'n'cheese and pizza. It's probably the biggest selection I have ever seen at such a buffet, which is kinda surprising for a standard strip mall affair in upstate NY of all places. The wait staff was also pretty fast with the drink refills. Lastly, you just can't beat the price. $8, as much as you can eat, with a soda with free refills. Ridiculous! read more

Daily Buffet - Buffets Near Me - Watertown, New York

Not a pleasant experience. Very little food left in the various pans and no wonton soup even after advising the staff there was none left. And what about this man who was going around and filling his platesssss like if he was the only one in the restaurant and pilling up those plates at his table. Just so disgusting. It was a once and never again experience for me. read more

Some of the items are mislabeled so you have to guess what your eating sometimes, the flavor is good for a buffet, but the sushi is dreadful- it was frozen in the middle?!... the drinks were good and the service was polite and sanitized specially during covid. Will eat here again. read more

The food was average. Pretty decent if you want lots of food for a low price. If you would rather save a bit more, don't order soda. That knocks off maybe 2 to 3 bucks on your bill. I go here frequently and always the waitresses give me dirty looks and the table that is closest to the front door, where it is cold and loud because people are always walking in and out. I should probably ask them to get me a different table next time. Although I know this is a Chinese buffet, it's disconcerting to hear them scream at each other from across the restaurant in Chinese. Certainly puts me off from my appetite a bit. I go here because I love buffets, but if you want good service, don't go here. read more

Food was mediocre. Cross contamination all over. We needed to use the same spoons to get the buffet food. Sticky flor and dirty. Pizza was cold. I would give it a Zero but that's not an option. Will not go back. Now I know why they make you pay first. Not worth it. read more

This service is awful we weren't checked on once our drink were both gone and we left without them even knowing, would not recommend this place to ANYONE EVER!! read more

I have never done this before, but I literally just got home from eating here and had to come tell someone how horrible it was. Everything we ate tasted off. The veggies on the Mongolian grill tasted like they had been sitting out for days. Even the macaroni and cheese was weird. The only thing that was decent was the green beans. Congratulations, Daily Buffet, you get one star for having decent green beans. On top of that, everything was sticky, the floor was slippery, and the service left much to be desired. I've been to many a Chinese buffet in my day, and I have never encountered such a rude waitstaff. We will never, ever be coming here again. read more

This place gets two stars and I'm about to tell you why. So I'm sitting in this booth and to my left in the booth just on the other side of the divide and glass is a pretty respectable looking family. I'm bout to bite into my coconut shrimp when I see these beady eyes glaring at me just under the glass. The daughter of this respectable family is glaring at me while she licks the wall she's peeping over. The wife and I giggle a bit, gotta love them kids. I take my half eaten crab legs and walk em along the table like they're alive to creep this little girl out and she just giggles. Man it really made our night we laughed about that till we went to sleep. Oh yea this about the restaurant. That story was seriously the best part of it. I mean this place wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. And the waiters were rude as hell and it felt dirty. The food was decent though. It simply isn't worth the money though. The wife and I decided we would only go back to eat if we were in a "dirty" mood.... Take that as you will;) read more

This place is just okay, considering the area where options for Chinese buffet are limited. The staff here are nice, and I've never had any issues with them. It's a buffet. You pay when you go in, they seat you, bring you what you want to drink and some utensils, and that's it. Like at every other buffet. They don't do that at Golden Corral, so... For the most part, this place is pretty clean, albeit the floors under the tables/booths always feel a little slippery like there's oil or something on them. But honestly, this is the cleanest buffet in the area that we've been to and we don't find much to complain about. We've gone during the week, on weekends when it's busy, we've been here when it's slow and the staff has always been fine with us. We will always pick this place over Grand Buffet in Le Ray (that places smells like a gas station bathroom and the food tastes how it smells, so take that as you will). Honestly, the standard dishes (general tso's, sesame, sweet and sour, etc.) are just your basic Chinese take out style food. I will say, like at most buffet places, it always gets soggy, so I usually steer clear. I like the sushi bar and the dim sum they offer. Although, the dim sum is pretty popular, so it's a toss up if we'll ever make it in time to grab any. But they usually always have the cream cheese Rangoon, dumplings/potstickers, and the usual crowd pleasers. Anyway, all this to say, this place isn't half bad and just your standard Chinese buffet. Nothing fancy and nothing to write home about. read more

Foods cold and expensive never coming here again -1 stars. I don't know why it's so expensive

I'm no princess. I've been known to get down n dirty at some buffets...but even I couldn't stomach this place. The food was all extremely questionable, the wait staff was so incredibly rude I thought I was being Punk'd or something, and I spent half the night in the bathroom afterwards (sorry.) If you have any self worth, avoid this place. read more

I stopped in today the lady checking us in was very personable and professional... being the 4th of July I wasn't sure they would be open. The parking lot was empty. We go in as a family of 6 to be immediately greeted with what to drink... walked up came back to the table ready to eat only to find most of the food was way too cold. Definitely in the temperature danger zone... FOR HOW LONG ONE WILL NEVER KNOW... we let the waitress know of the temp problem but not a quick response to fix the problem. Then the pastry was raw. Sent them back three times only to have the cook attempt to place them back in the oven and burn the top. Clearly the pastry ingredients were messed up in the process because even with the burned tops the pastry was still very doughy inside. Meanwhile we wait observing what fresh foods were up next.... it happens the waitress putting together silverware and napkins takes her ungloved finger, DIGS HER EARWAX FROM HER EAR, places her finger on top of the napkin and roles the for and spoon up for the next guest. I was completely disgusted. I used to love this place...don't mind paying when it's worth it. What has happened to this place. My plan is to return and video the going's on in this place so you can all see first hand what's going on. I'll be bringing a food thermometer to check food temps and report to health department. Rest assured it will be my last visit...rt 11fort drum is where I'll go from now on! read more

What!? No Crab Legs?! WARNING: THIS IS A RATING IN COMPARISON TO OTHER RESTAURANTS OF THIS TYPE. Okay, one of my vices (which my family absolutely can't stand!) is cheap, all-you-can-eat Chinese Buffet Restaurants. This is one. It's not a McCormick & Schmick's or a Ruth's Chris, but it's pretty good for a $12 Chinese buffet restaurant. In Watertown. Tuesday. Dinnertime. The food is hot and fresh and tasty. Plentiful, too. They keep the buffet topped off. There is a grill - Mongolian, sort of - didn't try that. Sushi too. Pass. Highpoints are the crawfish, steamed clams, and peel and eat shrimp (which are on the small side). But no crab legs! Ask to take a look at the buffet line first, to ensure its to your liking. And you pay before being seated. Bottom Line: pretty good for what it is! And if you get here when a Chinese Tour Bus is here - get in line ahead of them! read more

Ignore the negative reviews, this is my favorite Chinese place. The selection is so big, if you don't dont like something try another dish. Best buffet I've ever been to. Gotta try the Monglian grill. Excellent dining service!

This is our first time here and I'm very pleasantly surprised. There are lots of people here and the food is good. There are 5 buffet bars plus a Hibachi area where they'll cook what you bring them. About the best you can expect from a Chinese buffet in my opinion. It was approximately $18 for two adult lunch buffets and two soft drinks. The waitress was very prompt with clearing plates and refilling drinks. read more

I was here a few months ago. Good food that is cooked right that is actually semi hot. Waiters are nice and actually will talk to you and come to your table to check in which is rare for chinease buffets. I will definitely go back. Maybe today. I think the number one question often asked before eating at a Chinese Buffet is "Will this kill me?" I can attest that I am still alive after having eaten here not one hour from writing this review. In terms of how the food is, it is standard buffet grub that is a bit fresher than most places, just don't go in there expecting anything beyond middling. The staff was super friendly as well. read more

Have eaten here many times. Good bang for the buck. Food has always been fresh and hot and plentiful. I wasn't going to review this but reading the other reviews, I feel like there was a need for some balance. No, this isn't gourmet but it's really just fine. The dim sum are nice. I have eaten here several times and have never gotten sick or had anyone treat me rudely. They are always very kind to my (messy) toddlers. We have only eaten the already made food. read more
