Delish and great prices! It's a Middle East market with lots of great finds! I believe it's family operated which is probably why the customer service was amazing. I had ordered through their online system and when I got there it, they hadn't even started my owner but one of the guys on the line was so nice - that he stopped what he was doing and did my order. Their gyro is delicious! The pickled cabbage pushes it over the edge. Fries were good too!! read more

Been looking for good Mediterranean food. Finally found it. Everything was delicious. Absolutely going back. Loved the grilled veggies with eggplant & sweet potato. Soft pita bread (it's amazing to me how many places get pita wrong, not them). And the rice with lentils and caramelized onions... brilliant. Good eats and a grocery too. read more

If I could eat here every day, I would. I absolutely love coming here on my lunch break. The food here is amazing, so fresh and quick. They give you a nice amount of food for around 8-10 bucks. They have a variety of platters, chop chops, and even food by the pound. They do have a lot of meat based plates, so if you don't eat meat you can always pick from a variety of meatless options. The parking is sometimes a little tight, so I usually go after lunch has stopped around 12:30-2:00pm. They only serve food till about 8 pm, so we usually just go there for a semi late lunch. Everyday there's a different special, my favorite being the stuffed cabbage! But when there is no cabbage I always go for the Chicken Platter with falafels, tabouli, and roasted vegetables. One thing you definitely need to try is the Falafel with the Tahini sauce! Im pretty much obsessed with eating here. I did come three days in a row once. I will be definitely be coming here till I die. read more

This use to be our go to for a delicious lunch but I have a question, Wtf happened. The new staff is extremely rude. Half of the time the food isn't fresh not to mention the portions are half of what they used to be and the prices have doubled. The tables are dirty and the floor is filthy. Good bye! Spending my hard earn money elsewhere. read more

I frequently visits different types of restaurants around the world, but the Couscous in this place is a must try. By far, this is the best I've tasted. It was lightly seasoned, not too much spices in it (not spicy at all), fluffy not sticky with freshly chopped apples bits in it to highlight the gentle sweetness. See my uploaded pix for a somewhat light carb lunch. Great place to bring the entire family, especially for the younger kids to learn about other cultures, name, and different types of food from Lebanon. read more

Daily Bread - Couscous, multi-beans salad, chicken kebab, beef/rice? stuffed cabbage, and bread with white sesame dressing. - Mediterranean Near Me - Miami, Florida

When I want takeout I go to their Dadeland location because it is closer, but if you are going with friends, come here to their main location. They slightly remodeled the inside a year or two ago, and it's more spacious and clean. There's also an inside market with every Mediterranean item under the sun. The platters are awesome, as is the regular gyro. It's the only gyro I've ever had with yummy pink slaw. A must try! The parking is convenient and the place is never empty. A local fast food gem. read more

Wooow amazing flavorsss! We go every week with my husband. Looove loove loveee this place!!

Amazing service and food. Ordered a Uber eats order where I was missing one meal. The manager , Nicholas , took the time to drive the order to me personally. The food was to die for and I'm just so grateful to see hard working people still. Thank you guys! read more

My girlfriend and I have made this one of our weekend go to spots! The staff is friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious. I love their falafel platter and tabouli salad. No matter what you eat a side of tabouli is a must in my opinion! read more

This place is a hidden gem! It's right next to work so whenever I don't bring my own food I just walk there. They are really fast, even when it's really busy I'm always in and out in less than 10 minutes. Food is absolutely delicious and they have a lot of vegan options. It's also very affordable and they serve a lot of food for your money. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that they use too much plastic in general. Sometimes they give you a bag inside a bag inside a bad. So it would be great if at least they start using more reusable silverware and plates. Aside from that everything else is great! read more

Gosh, I have been coming here ever since I was a freshman in high school and the food has seriously never disappointed my family and I. The quality and the love that is put into the preparation is evident with the constant satisfaction I get when eating here. I never have to worry if they won't put enough food in terms of portion sizes or if they will forget an item I requested because they are on top of their game. Thank you Daily Bread for the delicious & affordable food! read more

I always order from here when i forget to bring food to work. Conveniently close and definitely worth every penny. I always order the beef Gyro. my co workers decided to try the meat and vegetarian grape leaves. Of course i always need something sweet at the end. So i got the pistachio baklava. price is pretty fair for what your getting. $6.99 for a pretty filling gyro. .99 for each grape leave which isn't bad. The place its self isn't a 5 start restaurant. its a middle eastern market with some food service inside. kind of like a food by the pound. self service. for the price, you cant beat it. they also have great spices in their little market. the grape leaves weren't exactly amazing, but they were satisfying none the less. Staff is always friendly and always get the order right. the baklava........... WOW probably the best one i have had yet. i have lots of friend from the middle east so i eat a lot of the food. definitely tastes homemade. read more

This place has changed for the worse. One person with tattoo of leaves which was a nice tattoo was for some reason in a hurry while preparing my order. Instead of using the spoons that were in the canisters ,it seemed to her appropriate to cross contaminate certain food that shouldnt be handled in that fashion. I kept looking at her and she kept saying sorry was my day off yesterday.... don't know what that has to do with preparing my food. Was the only customer at that time. read more

We ordered the stuffed cabbage, gyro platter and the Mediterranean bowl. Everything including the sides- falafel, hummus, salad, Greek fries- was delicious and generously portioned. Will definitely order here again! read more

I was introduced to this little Mediterranean Gem by my girlfriend who is an absolute Mediterranean food junkie. As soon as you come in you get this very quaint feel of a small market/restaurant shop of authenticity. My favorite thing on their menu are their Pita Wraps, I always get a mixture of their curry chicken and their lamb and all I can say is WOW! Absolutely delicious! The food is always fresh and good tasting and the service has always been friendly, attentive and fast. I have had the chance to pay for my mean with one of the owners who take a lot of pride in making sure you feel welcome and appreciated for giving them your business. Very profession yet very humble. I always recommend this place as these little types of authentic restaurants are where I always find the best food around Miami. I will continue to come here and keep on venturing their menu for their many and tasty options read more

Really great place love the food very fresh good customer service and very easy to fine

sooo yummy! my boyfriend and I come here every 3 days. amazing shwarma and falafel as well as their baklava and chocolate nut rolls. I definitely like it more than the one that's in Pinecrest as their ingredients taste fresher and their falafel is always warm employees are always welcoming and sweet! read more

Amazing, I wanted to eat everything. But I contained myself this is definitely going on my list of places to come back to. Their kibek was a bit salty and huge but otherwise wonderful taste. You HAVE to try their DB fries, to die for. read more

I like to support joints in the area but I was underwhelmed with this place. I am kinda shocked with the 4.5 star rating on yelp. The area needs a good greek restaurant, so I was hoping for the best. What disappointed most was: The meats are precooked, then microwaved in front of you They microwaved the chicken and gyro meat only after weighing the meat on a scale to make sure I was not getting extra. Everyone has nuked meats in the microwave, I don't have to tell you that some meats loose tenderness and dry out when you nuke , and do not come out with the same feel; some pieces were hard on the gyro meet, maybe due to the micro heat. The sides for the platters were also more limited than I expected. They had olives, tabule, humus, lettuce, cabbage, onions and a few others. I felt they could have used fresh spinach, peppers (green, red), cucumber, and a lettuce with more freshness. Im not a chef, but maybe they should steal a page from GYROVILLE and keep the meat steaming rather than the microwave option. Nobody associates FRESH GREEK MARKET with MICROWAVE. read more

Great family business. There is always much oversight from family members. The selection is great and is consistently good. The food is always fresh and they maintain high standards of cleanliness. You know that the restaurant is good by the number of repeat customers. I feel bad providing them with a low review after today's visit. However, my favorite tabouli salad in Miami and possibly anywhere in United States is no longer available. Beware of the recent change in their Tabouli Salad recipe. For so many years it was was light and fluffy with just a small amount of cracked wheat. Recently it changed to what appears to be a commercially chopped parsley which is too fine and way too much bulgar. It is now as heavy as the kind you buy in the supermarket. Updated: They must've taken their customers feedback (including mine) and returned to the original recipe for tabouli. It is as good as it was before and by far the best in Miami. read more

My previous review still stands, and I'm glad to see the matriarch of the family is back. This update is about something that's been bugging me a long time. On more than one occasion, and after getting home with a bagful of items, I've suspected that I was over-charged. It doesn't help that the receipt you get only has a grand total, and is not itemized. If you want a breakdown of what you bought and how much it cost you need to remember to ask for it, which of course I never do until it's too late. I can't think of another purchase, at a restaurant or otherwise, where you don't get a detailed receipt. read more

I was at the Falls and was starving for something healthy and delicious and found this place on yelp with tons of good reviews. The reviews were right! This place is absolutely delicious and very fresh. It's buffet style but don't let that fool you. I got the gyro platter with hummus and tabbouleh and you could tell everything was made there from scratch. The only thing I can complain about is the service... The girls that were working there were SO loud when talking to one another. Basically screaming at each other to get something in or out of the microwave.. Actually, they were screaming at each other for almost everything.. Super unprofessional. The fact that this place isn't the nicest to eat in and the service was unprofessional is the main downside. However, the food really does make up for it which is the reason for the 4 stars. Also, the price was a plus. Really liked this place except for the service, and will be coming back. read more

Soo sad the employees are spoiling this place. Third time in this month we come to pick up dinner and although food is always great, from now on I will drive to The Original Daily Bread in Coconut Grove instead. Or learn to make this food LOL. When we walked in, the employees were chatting among themselves and they seemed annoyed to be interrupted by us asking for the daily specials and what are the ingredients. Then we asked one of the girls to clarify one of the platters and she gave us a nasty attitude, so bad that another girl took over. Manager was not available at the moment. I hope owners notice this and do something about it. read more

Market and sandwich shop. I'm using the term sandwich loosely, but you get what I mean. They sell the best FETA cheese I've ever had, I wish I could remember the brand name right now. It is a Greek brand, and not overly salty. And it's part of the reason their "sandwiches" (think pitas) are so good. They use really good ingredients in everything. read more

Whenever i go to this establishment (and ive been there three times) i always detect animosity from the mannerisms of the women who always there with the exception of the girl worker who works nights. I eat there mostly due to nostalgia, because i ate at a Mediterranean place when i was younger near to my highschool But honestly the eye rolling and barely contained contempt has got to go Edit: and I had a sore throat after eating tonight's food read more

Well, I've been to the Daily bread on US 1 in Miami today I ate at the one in Pinecrest, the one in Miami is definitely good this one in Pinecrest is mediocre at best. The food tasted old the bread was stale and well the service by a South American lady there wasn't bad but not even a smile. For all intensive purposes this place was awful it was just lacking everything, I mean the poor wiring of the OPEN sign tells a story of laziness in doing it properly by running the wires above the ceiling instead of the way it's done. Quite terrible well hope to give this a try in the future as I like to give restaurants a second chance. Maybe earlier in the day food would be better and fresher. I had the falafel sandwich and the gyro sandwich and a plate of tabule and hummus...... read more

Amazing food tastes like food you would eat in your own house. I got a chicken with 2 sides and a salad for $8.25. Only one thing is the people working there are not the friendliest the girl that helped me looked like she was 15 and could not be bothered to answer my questions. Defintely if you are in the Pinecrest area check out this place. The food is much better than the one on the Dadeland mall. read more

The grocery/market aspect of this place is not bad, but the restaurant food here is incredibly low quality, not fresh, and service is apathetic. So I'm giving a few stars for the market part of the store alone, since it is a decent place to get Middle Eastern groceries. The restaurant part is terrible however. The best way I can describe the restaurant is to tell you to imagine your high school cafeteria having a Middle Eastern themed day. It's practically the same level of food quality and service. The unappealing looking old pre-prepared food is sitting out in trays behind the counter, and when you order something, one of the servers apathetically throws it in the microwave to "cook" it for you. The general vibe that you get from the girls who work here is just apathy...they aren't offensively rude or anything, they just don't give a Frenchman's fuck about your or your food. Their salads feature pre-shredded iceberg lettuce(dumped straight out of a giant bag into the tray) topped with wonderful toppings such as mealy tomato slices. I ordered a chicken greek salad and found that it was 95% pre-shredded iceberg lettuce...come on, is this Taco Bell? Top it with some microwaved chicken and what more could you want... I am seriously confused that some people have use adjectives like "fresh" to describe the food here. By definition it is not fresh. I understand that people think plenty of other nasty low quality foods TASTE good, so flavor is obviously subjective, but freshness is not. Blah read more

I'm spoiled when it comes to greek food, our old business neighbor was a greek importer. I grew up eating feta cheese from his home town in Greece, so to say I'm picky would be an understatement. So imagine my surprise when I walk in here, and over to the fridge to find my current favorite feta cheese, and the pita bread I drive up to hollywood to buy from our old neighbor. Turns out that Daily Bread is one of his customers. They have the best selection of greek fixin's I have found besides my friend. I couldn't find tzatziki sauce in their fridge tonight, "oh! Here I'll make some for you, real quick!" They also have a restaurant in there, looking forward to trying it. read more

Foods really good. Not too many spots in pinecrest to get authentic Middle Eastern food like this. Every time I've gone the service has been stellar. The place itself is a mix of a supermarket and a restaurant. There's a line and you build your own meals with everything you want and nothing you don't which is a good time. It's clean and homely. I ALWAYS order their lentil soup which is a little different from European lentil soup but in a good way. My boyfriend is a sucker for the gyro platter with mujadra and tabouli. And obviously you HAVE to get hummus with pita that's basically mandatory. Like I said, everything is authentic and totally delicious it has really opened us up for trying new foods and it's very hard to find a good Middle Eastern place in Miami. read more

Thank you, Living Social! I wouldn't have tried it without you! I have to say, trying new places is my favorite part of this whole coupon revolution. Thanks to Living Social and a couple of positive words from Yelp, this was a deal I just had to grab, especially because I'm part Lebanese and Middle Eastern food is the bomb! So, first of all, the staff is super friendly and attentive, they make you feel right at home and answer any questions you have. I had the gyro platter. All platters come with two sides and a choice of rice or salad. I chose the salad, hummus and tabbouleh. The gyro was topped with tzatziki sauce which was just perfect inside of my whole wheat pita! The tabbouleh, on the other hand, was not my fave since it had mint (I'm not used to that) but it was not bad, still very fresh. The hummus was the best I've ever had. Period. Also, don't forget to try their fresh spanakopita and baklava. The walnut baklava was to die for! I loved this place! read more
