Firstly, this isn't yoga - there will be no downward dog, sun salutation etc, but a strange mix of body 'tapping' (you basically hit yourself), body shaking, stretches and 'feeling energy flows'.
The prices are high and when they get you in for your introductory session, that is when you are told that the only way you can take classes is by paying for them in advance - a very, very hard sell is done for 2 classes a week for 6 months. When I said no, they became aggressive in their sell, offered a number of different packages and then proceeded to tell me all the negative things about me and how bad my life would get if I didn't take the package. The whole experience was strange and became rather scary.
After the experience I then googled reviews of Dahn Yoga and wish I had done so before I went. Lots and lots of posts about this being a cult, how they do the hard sell, especially on women, and that in the USA there have been lots of law suits against the company.
