Everything is served family style and comes out as it's ready which I love! I'm a huge fan of family style with Chinese food because I always order a lot and get a little bit of everything! It was our first time going so we ordered a bunch of our favorites and some new stuff to try and everything was so good! The fried rice and thick rice noodles are some of the best things I've ever ate! The dumplings were dumplings you can't go wrong and these were so good! The crispy spicy chicken wasn't super spicy but it was extremely fresh and crispy! The duck was a little dry but still pretty good! Went on a Sunday so there wasn't really a wait or too much trouble parking but I can see where parking would be annoying on a busy day. This is exactly what I was looking for in a family style Chinese restaurant! Will definitely be going back!

The server warned us that it might take a little while to get our food, but it was actually really quick service. There was also someone regularly coming around to refill water, and I appreciated the attentiveness. My partner ordered the vegetarian mapo tofu and I got the sesame tofu. Both were tasty. The sesame tofu was not as sweet as some other places I've been to and I liked that. Overall a good experience. It was delicious, affordable, and I love that they have vegan options!

I really missed out! We initially planned to grab takeout from A-Mart Deli, but when we found it closed, I figured it was finally time to check out Tai's. Food came out super fast, the lady at the counter was very sweet when I asked her what she would recommend. The space is clean and cozy. Everything was fantastic! The egg rolls, sesame chicken, ribs, and the Chow Ho Fun were some of the best I've ever had. The only dish that didn't quite impress was the Pad Thai. It seems like the key is to stick with the Chinese dishes there rather than the Thai or Vietnamese options. Regardless, the food was incredible, and I think I hesitated to try it due to all the negative reviews. Now I know where I'll be going for my next Chinese takeout!

Food 4.5/5 Service 4.5/5…read moreAmbiance 4.5/5 A newly created soup shop inside the also-somewhat-new Enson Market, Brothy Bowl is a fairly relaxed place to grab something to warm up your day. If you've never had this style of hot pot before, think of it like a Chipotle for soup - choose any combination of a variety of toppings, however much or little you'd like. Then, hand the bowl over to the chefs, choose a broth (or maybe the dry style noodles) and a spice level, and let them cook your bowl! Plus, you're charged by weight, so the price adjusts to your own desires. I'm a bit of a fiend for good soup, so I got quite a big bowl - but I saw different sizes on other patrons' trays. Be aware that even the level 1 spice is quite spicy - Sichuan peppers give the traditional bone broth its almost numbing but iconic flavor profile. I loved their soup - definitely been a while since I've had something that hit so close to home. And if you can'f take the heat, no worries - that's what the tea is for. The Osmanthus Oolong milk tea I got had a very, very strong osmanthus floral flavor - great for a summer day and to contrast with the rich and savory broth. Overall, great, authentic Sichuan hot pot - I'll definitely be coming back for more, especially when winter rolls around.

I like the ability to pick your own ingredients and custom make a bowl. However, I felt that the set up of the ingredients was risky for a lot of cross contamination. Like many other malatang restaurants, you pick up your own tongs to pick ingredients. Usually, though, I see the raw meats and seafood with their own tongs (1 per item). It isn't good to have people using tongs on raw meat then touching veg, noodles, etc. I also noticed that once I got my completed soup, there were bits of ingredients from the people ahead of me. I wouldn't recommend coming if you have dietary restrictions, sensitivities, or allergies. I also didn't like how the self serve utensils were just thrown on a tray in a high traffic area, it didn't feel clean. The flow of the space was also tricky as all of the raw ingredients were right in the narrow walkway between the seating and the checkout. Still, the soup was good and I would return!
